We're delighted to hear that you found the home exceptionally clean and well-appointed, and we're especially honored that after staying in several homes in the neighborhood, this one stood out as your favorite for cleanliness. Being right on the Texas coast, the combination of intense summer heat and humidity can certainly put any AC system to the test. We're glad the system was keeping the home comfortable enough for sleeping, and our records showed it was operating properly during your stay. You just can't go below 69 or the system will likely freeze up, and that would make your stay real uncomfortable. We certainly don't want that for our guests. We also appreciate you letting us know about the top bunk. We'll be sure to inspect it to ensure everything is in good condition for future guests. It was a pleasure hosting your group, and we'd love to welcome you back for a fourth visit to Treasure Island!

We're so glad you had a great time! It's a fantastic home and location - yes, we are biased :) Unfortunately those little sugar ants show up randomly on the coast here and leave again as silently. We'll definitely check things out though, and we would love to have you back!

We provide upfront in the listing and twice in our reservation communications that we do not provide bedding for the loveseat sleeper; however, you are welcome to use it. Perhaps you missed those? As for the coffee cups, we'll be sure to add some more as there should be at least 10. We agree the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular from this location. Hi Valerie, thank you for allowing us to host you, we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay more. This really is a lovely home with an owner who cares very much about the experience of the guests. As you shared, our maintenance manager came by and also within less than a hour after your call to address the closet drip. And also as we communicated during your stay, during the hottest summer on record with the AC systems running non-stop, filters are replaced upon every turnover and the filter was also replaced during your stay. We are in a hot, humid, sandy and salty area. Great when at the beach, tougher on the homes. We haven't had any other guests mention issues with the new kitchen table nor seating before or after your stay; however, our maintenance manager is always tightening things up. It seems a personal preference on the dinnerware, but we will pass your feedback along to the owner. As for the sway, yes, this home is on stilts, as are all the homes in the area. This is as intended, and of course, more noticeable when it is windy. Thank you noting this home is lovely and doesn't seem to warrant 2-stars. We will also share this feedback with the owner.
