Stunning property!

This property is absolutely amazing! Our family stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The ocean view is spectacular! They have kayaks to use, a firepit to sit around and plenty of beach combing. The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back.

Unbelievable house and location!

Absolutely wonderful! The Hammersley exceeded all our expectations. We booked for an extended family vacation. The location ended up being perfect, allowing us time in nearby Seattle and Olympic National Park. The house was clean, well maintained, and had all the amenities you could ever want. The speakeasy was a big hit with both the kids and adults. And the view was unbelievable. We got to watch seals eat near the shore, birds, and jellyfish. The provided kayaks were so much fun. Everyone in our group was blown away by the house and loved their stay.

Spectacular Property

The Hammersley property is truly spectacular. It's waterfront "no bank" location gives immediate access to the beach for walking and kayaking. The main house and guest house provides plenty of bed space and the large dining room table accommodates 10 for a meal. The kitchen is well equpped.

Perfect Family Vacation

Right on the lake, perfect place to spend time with family. The cottage was such a cute bonus space! The whole family joined in the Karoke lounge, played board games, our family hasnt all been together in many years so this was such a treat. Lucy our host was wonderful, we left something by accident that was very special to us and she made sure we got it back. 5 out of 5 stars!! We would definitely go back!

Idyllic Holiday Retreat

This Hammersley Inlet vacation home was the perfect spot for our family to gather for a holiday. It provided plenty of room, both in and out. On-site activities were endless, from beach walks to lazy hangouts by the fire. Games on the massive lawn were a favorite. Additionally, the home was spotless (number one on my list for a rental) and well-outfitted with cooking accessories and toiletries. Lucy was attentive and easily accessible to answer any question. We loved our stay and look forward to a return visit soon!

Absolutely peaceful paradise

We had a high expectations when it came to the Hammersley since the photos looked stunning; however, once we arrived, the home just wowed us, including my young adult children! The grounds are truly beautiful and vast. We were easily entertained with the abundance of fun activities both inside and outside. The home had everything that you needed to entertain. Can’t wait to come back again.

Everything about this property was perfection. The layout was perfect for our large family, and the guest cottage was a wonderful bonus for my oldest child. We all loved the quirky and eclectic decor. We didn't have any real issues during our stay, but our hosts were available and did answer all questions almost immediately. I would rebook in a heartbeat. The property is huge and allowed for folks to be alone or together as needed. Definitely one of my favorite vacation properties of all time.

Fabulous Getaway!!

From the moment we entered the property we were taken away! Beautifully landscaped, large expanse of yard, magical view of the inlet. Then we entered the house, and were even more amazed. Every detail was lovely, artistic, meticulous. We marvelled at the design features, and the quality with how the historical property had been restored. The owners were responsive to our questions via email during our entire stay, and took care of our every wish. We were a group of longtime friends enjoying a get away, and the home and property made it one of the most special gatherings we have ever had.

Incredible property with amazing host!

I cannot recommend the Hammersley enough. The house is beautiful, spacious, and the perfect place to hang out in luxury. PLUS the secret karaoke room?? A showstopper. Everyone in my party had the best time down there. The grounds around the Hammersley are also equally, if not more, incredible. Between the gardens, wraparound porch, and fire pit, you’re going to wish you booked a longer stay. Finally, Lucy is a truly delightful host. She was so considerate of our privacy while simultaneously ensuring we had all of our needs met—a super star!All in all, if you’re torn between two properties, go with the Hammersley—you won’t be disappointed!

Stunning Property and Location

This property will not disappoint. The home and grounds are stunning, the location is so lovely and peaceful, and the size of the grounds are so large that you feel like you have room to breathe and aren't on top of your neighbors. The kitchen was one of the most well-stocked rentals we've ever stayed in. The secret room entrance is SO WORTH IT, and we had a great time with the karaoke, even though it was a little bit of struggle to get the streaming from our phones to work (and all four of us that were there are pretty tech savvy). An actual karaoke machine would definitely amp up the appeal and usability. Our only other note is that there's no AC in the guest house, which seems like it shouldn't be an issue in the PNW, but with climate change our summers here have changed and summers are long and hot now. The ceiling fan and windows open in the guest house kept it cool enough if you're someone who enjoys sleeping under a fan. The host was exceptionally responsive and accommodating, really couldn't ask for better. Although we don't generally repeat rentals (so many places, so little time), this is one property we might actually consider returning to, it's that good.

This is the best beach house rental that my family had ever been to. From the beautiful landscaped yard to the beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and dining. No details were missed, this was a 5 stars hotel without the concierge The wrapped around porch is perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The beach is full of oysters and clams. The host even encouraged us to use the 240V charger for our Teslas, we had two.

Peaceful Estate

We had a phenomenal stay at The Hammersley. The entire property feels private and quiet. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you need. Sitting on the wraparound porch watching the kids play games in the GIANT yard is a memory we will all cherish for a long time. The owners were very responsive and quick to help with anything we needed for our stay (they even provided a tide chart to help in our oyster harvesting!). Beautiful house that we can’t wait to return to.

Hammersley was perfect for our family!

Can't say enough about this place and couldn't be happier with our stay at the Hammersley! The property is huge and very private so it was perfect for our family. You can tell there a lot of thought was put in to ensure guests were very comfortable. Our girls loved the "secret room". The interior is super clean. The owners were very helpful, communicative and accommodating. You will not be disappointed!

Memorial weekend getaway

The house was magnificent. The landscape was beautiful and big. My boys play football by the water all day. The inside of the house cleaned and new. Lucy was very attentive to all of our needs. We love it so much all my family want to come back and stay longer next time.
