Hi Esther, we are so glad your enjoyed your multi-generational family gathering at the Forest View Lodge and that everyone found a way to keep busy without their devices. You are correct, the wifi signal is very weak at this location. This is the best service available on the road where the cabin is located and with trees and mountains blocking the view, satellite Internet is not even available. We recommend the Forest View Lodge for people who can live with limited Internet connections during their vacation. We are happy to know everything else worked out well for you. We do see you called about the internet - which unfortunately was being affected by the fires - but no mention of needing extra hot tub towels or that the washing machine wasn't working. We would have gladly dropped off extra towels or had our maintenance come by to check out the washing machine. We loved hosting you, and do hope we have the opportunity to host you again!
