This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits on 7.5 private acres and is pet friendly. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows in the living room with propane fireplace allows viewing of the open meadow and various wildlife. Just out the back door are several private hiking trails that lead to the Sandy river. In the Winter time you can use the provided snowshoes to hike around the property or you can sled on the hill right out back.

Bring your favorite coffee or K-Cups and start your morning with a nice hot beverage outside in the outdoor living room with bar, mini fridge & firepit. You can also relax in the new hot tub. Deer frequent the property and the night sky is impressive.

If you would prefer to stay in; there is ping pong, shuffleboard, and corn hole in the garage. This home has a well appointed gourmet kitchen and features a wine cooler and large island.

The master suite downstairs offers a king size bed. The en-suite has a jacuzzi tub and large walk in shower. Upstairs features two bedrooms, open loft with TV watching area and full bath.

Come and enjoy the serenity of this secluded luxury home. This is a pet friendly home with a $60 fee per pet.

We had the BEST time! We had age ranges from 45 to 5 years old and everybody loved every second. The kitchen was fully equipped for breakfast lunch and dinner. Oh wait there’s also an awesome covered outdoor fire place and a hot tub plus acres of exploring. We will be back 100% thank you!

We loved the views of the mountains through the big windows off the back of the house. And great outdoor spaces with a hot tub and outdoor fireplace overlooking a beautiful meadow with wildflowers and the sounds of a rushing river about 100 yards away. The location is perfect, feels very secluded but only about 5 minutes away from the small town and a few restaurants, etc. Also close to some great hiking and the drive further up Lolo pass road has amazing views. We can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Felt the Magic!

The home, property, and environs exceeded expectations. We met up from across the country for a mini-family reunion, and the stay checked every box we’d anticipated and some unexpected, magical ones as well. Winter Wonderland

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Buck Lodge. This is the prefect place for a weekend getaway where you have plenty of space on a beautfiul property. The house was clean and the accomodations were nice making the weekend very enjoyable. I would recommend a stay here for a ski weekend or in the summer a place to get out and explore Mt. Hood which is right in your backyard.It seems like there is so much to do in this area and it is nice to have a lodge like this as your homebase surrounded by the mountains, nearby river and woods. Also, very quiet area so a great place to getaway and relax. We will definitely be heading back the next time we are looking for a long weekend stay in this area.

wonderful place, outstanding location

Our family and dog enjoyed a nice winter weekend at this gorgeous and comfortable property. The sandy river is essentially in the backyard and there is a beautiful trail running along the river that is accessible from the back yard. We hope to come back soon.

Excellent place

Wonderful place all around. Well cared for and excellent service from management company. The stereo that is listed is not accessible so recommend bringing a bluetooth speaker or check with management. They ended up driving out a couple small bluetooth speakers to make it right. Highly recommend this place.

The space was perfect where we could spread out just a bit, but also be together a lot. It felt very isolated and private, but also was just a little drive back to the store if need be. The views of the hills from the house are stunning all throughout the day. The access to the trails and river was great. We had deer out the window and could hear owls hooting from the hot tub. Check in was very easy and the property management was friendly and helpful. Perfect size for 7-8 people. I didn't notice anything that wasn't clean when arriving and kitchen was well appointed. The outdoor fireplace is so much better than a firepit because the smoke isn't chasing you around the circle the whole time - and there was plenty of wood. The only issues we had was the door of the bonus fridge in the garage was wonky and we kinda were hoping for a dvd player for some of the movies that were provided - very small issues in light of how much much we enjoyed this house! Would definitely stay here again!!

Peaceful Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful setting! The view out the main windows and off the back deck are incredible! The hot tub was a great addition. There is also a hiking trail in the back yard that can lead you to the river within a short walking distance. There were a few cons: -the house was very dark with very dim light bulbs-it looked like the landscaping around the whole house hasn't been touched in a VERY long time. We had to knock down weeds to enjoy the back patio. -there are a few chairs under the covered, outdoor fireplace area but not any other furniture outside. That's where we wanted to be! -the ping pong table should be thrown away. It looks like someone landed on it
