Was great floated river then next day stayed on the porch and cooked steaks with our neighbors that where also renting had a blast with them

Good location

The backyard and deck are very unique and nice. AC unit in the Pecan Haus upper seemed a little small for the square footage but we were still able to make it work.

The upstairs cabin was hot, the refrigerator never got cold, and there was no sink in the bathroom. The listing shows a nice pavilion and deck area by the river, but it is shared between entirely too many people. There was simply not enough space. Not enough parking. Not enough internet to even report issues. Check-in is at 4pm but we didn’t get the code until after that time. Do not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are transparent in the listing that the river deck and pavilion are shared among the properties rather than private to this cabin. The listing photos also clearly show the bathroom layout, including that the sink is located directly outside the bathroom door. We wish we had known the upstairs cabin was not cooling properly during your stay, as we could have sent someone to address the A/C and refrigerator. We also clearly disclose that Wi-Fi and cellular service are not guaranteed due to the property’s location, as service can be reliable some days and limited on others. We’re sorry the property did not meet your expectations, but we make every effort to describe its layout, shared amenities, and connectivity limitations accurately before booking.

The location for this property is excellent. It's quiet, has great proximity to the river and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy the view. Tube rental is conveniently just a few doors down at Mountain Breeze, along with some surprisingly tasty pizza. The interior is as advertised: simple and clean. Our chief issues echo those of others: The Air Conditioner is not quite adequate on hot days/nights. If you are someone who needs it cold to sleep, this may not be your place during hot weather. This unit advertises that it sleeps 4, which is true, but I would not subject even small children to sleep on the fold-out. My 14-year old ended up using the couch cushions on the floor vs. the fold-out bed. The WiFi was only findable when we were outside on the porch. If you are planning to work and need WiFi, keep this in mind.

We’re also happy you found the interior clean and accurately represented. We appreciate your feedback regarding the A/C, sleeper sofa, and Wi-Fi. Texas summer heat can make cooling more challenging, but we will have the system checked to ensure it is operating properly. We’ll also share your comments about the sleeper sofa with the owner. Wi-Fi and cell service can be inconsistent along River Road, as disclosed in the listing, so this property may not be ideal for guests who require a strong connection for remote work. Very clean little space with a bed, couch with a fold out bed and an additional couch. Stocked with cooking utensils, bathroom essentials and a washer and dryer.

Nice little room. Perfect for what we needed. However, we were upstairs, and you can hear every move someone makes in the downstairs rental. You can hear them talking and what TV show they are watching loud and clear. Luckily we were only there in the evenings and outside most of the time.

We absolutely loved the cozy cabin!! Plenty of Natural lighting and amazing view of the River!! It is the perfect location!! Less that a quarter mile from the Tan Turtle Bar which my wife and I loved. And having the Pavilion over looking the river was the icing on the cake!! The only problem we had was that we didn't want to leave!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! We will be back!!
