- 7-minute drive to the beach and the famous 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmenâs city center. 5th Ave is one of the biggest tourist attractions lined with restaurants, bars, cafes, boutique & souvenir shops & plenty of people-watching!
- Vibrant shopping malls in town off 5th Ave like Paseo del Carmen, Quinta Alegria & Calle CorazĂłn plus boutique stores, international chains & more.
- Closer to the apartment is Centro Maya shopping center which is about a 3-min drive. There youâll find a big grocery store called Soriana, restaurants, cafes, shops, banks/ATMs, a Starbucks and more.
- 2-min drive (.4 miles|700 meters) from the apartment is the famous underground cave restaurant in Playa called ALUX. For a small fee you get a drink and walk through to check it out or spend an evening dining there. Itâs a definite must see when visiting the area.

The apartment is about a 50-55 minute drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), 57 km/35 miles away. When you arrive at the property, if youâre arriving by car, there is a designated spot for the apartment in the underground parking lot. There is additional parking on the street near the apartment for free.
When in Playa del Carmen city center, be aware of the paid parking meters that are in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. Youâll have to look for the parking post to pay the meter and display your receipt on your carâs dashboard.
For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by âcolectivoâ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.

However the bath items are not replenished so when you run out you'll need to purchase more. If you'd like us to arrange a grocery trip and stock the place for you, just let us know in advance! We can arrange airport transfers too.
Electricity is included in short-term stays (2-27 nights) but not included for long-term rentals of 28 nights or more. In this case, you pay for what you consume based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW. *Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C and turning off the AC and lights when you leave the property.
There's no daily housekeeping but if you need a cleaning service during your stay, it has an extra cost. Please let us know in advance. This service does not include changing the bed linens or towels. If you would like to add this service, additional fees will apply.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
