Dieses moderne Bauernhaus liegt zwischen den Städten von Woodstock (7 Meilen) und Saugerties (8 Meilen) an der Basis der Platte Clove in West Saugerties zentral gelegen. Die Nachbarschaft ist in nur 10 Minuten an der Interstate 87 noch völlig abgeschieden fühlt und heiter, umgeben von Natur und alten Bauernhäusern. Einfacher Zugang zum Hunter Mountain zum Skifahren (25 Minuten Fahrt), die Stadt Hudson (35 Minuten Fahrt) und alle anderen Teile der Catskill Region. Wir haben Listen der besten Shopping, Essen und Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um und freuen uns, Ihnen Tipps geben, was zu tun ist, während du hier bist.

Das Haus verfügt über fünf gleich eingerichtete Schlafzimmer (1 im 1. Stock, 4 auf der 2. Etage) mit neuen Queen-Size-Betten und alle neuen Bettwäsche und Bettzeug in jedem. Die Zimmer sind schön, sauber und gemütlich, mit einem Mix aus antiken und handgemachten Möbeln. Schränke und Büros sind leer und für die Gäste in allen Schlafzimmern im ersten Stock, ist der Ort, bei Ihnen!

Im ersten Stock hat ein TV-Raum mit einem großen Schnitt Sofa (für 8) und LG SmartTV (mit WiFi) und einem angrenzenden Wohnzimmer, ideal für Cocktail-Stunde oder Kartenspiele.

Die Badezimmer sind hell und blitzsauber mit Wand U-Bahn-Fliesen und alle brandneuen Befestigungen an der Wand.
Im Obergeschoss Badewanne hat mit Dusche und Wäscheschrank, hat im ersten Stock Duschkabine und eine Wäscherei. Handtücher und Badeprodukte werden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Das Herz des Hauses ist der 800 sq ft Küche / Esszimmer Große Zimmer komplett mit rustikaler Tisch, der 10 bis 12 Personen Platz. Wir ermutigen die Gäste, sie selbst zu Hause zu machen und am Haus zu kochen. Neue Edelstahl-Geräte und alle Kochgeschirr, Glaswaren und Geschirr müssen Sie werden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Dieses Haus ist ideal für Freund Treffen, Familientreffen und diejenigen, die Instagram-würdig Dinner-Party zu werfen! Es gibt fantastische Bauernhof steht, Fleischmärkte und Weinhandlungen in der Umgebung, sowie einen Laden / Café ( "In The Sticks") nur eine Minute zu Fuß auf den Weg. Wir können auch viele Restaurants in der Umgebung empfehlen, die für Dinner-Partys, Geburtstagsfeiern und Urlaub Mahlzeiten bieten Catering. Das Hudson Valley hat keinen Mangel an gutes Essen!

Perfect for a family getaway

My adult children and my husband and I were attending a wedding in Woodstock. This place was perfect, we were only about 12 minutes from the venue. The house was very spacious and clean, with plenty of room for us all to get ready. We cooked breakfast and there was plenty of kitchen equipment.

The Gathering House is Perfect!!

Amazing house!

I come to this area a couple times a year with a group of friends and we have stayed in a number of houses. I can say that this house was one of the best!! The property was so beautiful and spacious. The house was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The outdoor space was really nice too and the mountain view’s were spectacular. The property owners were also very nice and communicative. We would highly recommend this house.

This property has been beautifully renovated. It's spacious, well appointed, comfortable, and quite large! We loved the close proximity to Woodstock. We wandered in town, cooked big dinner, added a few corks to the "guest jar" of other corks, and stopped at Dia Beacon. A fabulous weekend.

Family Thanksgiving in Saugerties

Every member of our 9 person party loved our stay in this house. Kitchen was substantial enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Backyard big enough to entertain kids. The living room large and comfy enough to entertain everyone. The bedrooms cozy enough for sleep-ins. The whole house was very clean, had everything we needed, and was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this property.

Great Spot for Girls Weekend

Our five friends had a wonderful weekend at The Gathering House! It was great that we all had our own bedrooms, and the beds and bedding were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners, and the drawers were organized to find it all. We loved the house decor and charm. Communication with the host was timely and easy. Overall this property is as shown in listing. Good communications with host. Pulling into and out of driveway off narrow winding road was challenging at times. The front porch, Windows, screens and tracks could use a good cleaning. Water pressure is not great and hot water needs to be managed (i.e., showers spaced out) to ensure everyone has enough. A box of tissues would have been nice. The pots/pans were non-stick coated and scratched, which renders them not as safe to use. We bought firewood for the fire pit and left some for the next guest.

Wonderful stay!

The house is near the Hudson river with beautiful views and walks. It has a rustic feel but is fully equipped, simple and clean. It is exceptionally well stocked. The large kitchen and dining room have all you need and desire for cooking and serving, all in an excellent condition. There is plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. It is well decorated and practical at the same time. Very comfortable, The place has a charming backyard. The only two suggestion would be: - ideally, it would be great to open upstairs windows. They are secured with AC units at the moment (for summer), - the grass could be a bit shorter and the yard slightly more taken care of. Otherwise, no other suggestion. Highly recommended.

Fall girls trip

We had an excellent stay at the Modern Farmhouse for a Fall girls trip. We each had a room. Lot of areas to hang out. Kitchen was awesome and we just bought food and drinks. There were several seasonings too. The trip was geared by a local food festival and it was about 15 minutes away, as was the downtown Saugerties and Woodstock. We had a very nice waterfall hike about 30 minutes away. There were a handful of very excellent restaurants in town. Right around the house was rural except for a general store about 2 houses down but around a bit of a bend in the road. We initially did miss the house a few times due to the location right on the bend. The house was a bit older and creaky (not unexpected) but the shared areas were very nice. I was able to communicate with Roy before the trip to prepare and also during the trip with a heating issue. Overall the group was very happy with our accommodations.

Ideal destination for family visit to the Catskills

We stayed at Roy and Tommy’s house for two months over the summer with our three young kids. We loved our stay and had a great experience with the owners, who are incredibly responsive and helpful. It was an ideal location for us, roughly 10 minutes from the villages of Saugerties and Woodstock, and about 15 minutes to the town of Hunter. The house is an ideal mix of new and old, with kitchens and bathrooms fully updated and very new. The owners have been very thoughtful about everything in the house. For example, bedrooms are appointed with plenty of outlets and nightlights and the decor is stylish yet also durable and can’t be broken by young kids. As others have mentioned, the house has plenty of room and was quite comfortable for our family of 5 (and the occasional visit from the grandparents!). It’s appointed with everything you need, including organic soap and shampoo, every possible tool you could need in the kitchen (all new and in great shape), and plenty of spices, coffee and tea. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed the brand new fire pit, which the owners had just installed. We regularly saw deer, rabbits, groundhogs, and numerous types of birds and butterflies. Despite our kids’ wishes, no bear sightings this trip! :)

Friend getaway!

Roy and Tommy were so accommodating- we had to change the vacation date for medical reasons, and they made it so quick and easy. The place was adorable! I loved the aesthetic! We had a wonderful time.
