Amenities include large dining area , sleep for 7-8, inviting rooms, private quiet street close to skiing, resorts, and the Catskill river for boating or fishing and local mountain hiking trails close proximity to Saugerties and Hudson for antiquing. . For equestrians we are a short 20 minutes to hits in Saugerties . Lovely view in the area. (Point lookout..) close to local farm stands for fresh farm produce. newly renovated! lots of room! covered back porch in case it rains you can still relax outside! brand new bbq and firepit recently added. the firepit, and the stars..and all that the upstate region can offer..wineries, breweries, festivals! minutes from Cairo for Hannaford and shopping if needed.

Wonderful weekend away!

Absolutely amazing weekend away! This is our 3rd stay at this location. Renee is an excellent Host and the house feels just like home. It meets all of our families needs!

We absolutely love this home away from home. It fits our family perfectly! This was our second stay at this property. Renee is a wonderful Host and her property is amazing. Plenty of seating for meals as well as in the living room to either play a game or watch TV. This property has everything we need.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at the house. Renee was really nice and available if we needed anything or had any questions. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed needed with two couples and three kids. We look forward to staying here again.

Visiting my niece at St Joseph's convent

This house was in the perfect location for visiting with friends and family in Round Top. The house was perfect for our two small families. The kitchen and living were very spacious. Loved all the comfy blankets and pillows! The house was warm, cozy and clean. We would love to visit again!

Great quaint home

Very clean and well-maintained home! Kitchen had all supplies we needed for family of 4. Bedroom linens and bathroom towels were provided. We enjoyed coming back here after each day of skiing. Host was responsive to our questions. We would stay here again when in the area!

Everything was as promised. The house was a perfect fit for our family. The host was very welcoming and went the extra mile to mail back personal items left behind by family members. Would rent again.

Easy ride to Windham

Property was as advertised. Clean and spacious. About a 20-25 minute easy drive to Windham ski mountain. Property owner was responsive to questions. Netflix available on TV. Would stay again.

Peaceful respite

We stayed here for a few days in the midst of moving. It was such a relief to be in a nice, big, clean place with lots of open space - and air conditioning in a hot summer! It was very easy to get in, even though we arrived late. Also nice to get the check-in call to make sure things were OK.

Ski Weekend at Roundtopia

My family and I had a great long ski weekend at the house. he location was great, between Windham and Hunter Mountain. The house was stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The owner checked in and answered all our questions right away. Next time we'll come back when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the front porch and firepit in the back,

AMAZING HOST

I have stayed at homes with great guess before but Renee takes the cake. The house is warm and cozy and was exactly the relaxation away from the list of chores we do on the weekends (even when there is nothing to do). It is 20 mins away to shopping center and a large super walmart to get your essentials. I would go back to this house if I wanted to venture into the Catskills again in the summer. 100% recommend for location, house and the extremally hospitable host.

Lovely spacious stay in Round Top with lovely host!

Renee shared her adorable and spacious home with us for a weekend in upstate and our party had an amazing time! The home was incredibly clean, lots of space to lounge around relax. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and then some, lots of towels provided too which is always a great plus with larger parties. The home was well-equipped with working air conditioning. Renee was super sweet with her communications and came immediately when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the home. Checkout process was extremely simple as well, we cleaned up after ourselves but it was not required, it should be when being charged cleaning fees with home stays. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Thanksgiving Visit to Round Top

We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving family get-together at Renee's house in Round Top. The home comfortably sleeps four adults in queen size beds in the two "master bedrooms." There is a third bedroom with two twin beds, that was large enough for us to place a portable crib for our grandson. The home is on a quiet rustic road within a short walk or drive to the Kaaterskill Wild Forest which has great marked trails and beautiful waterfalls. The owner, Renee, was very friendly and accessible, as she operates a hair salon in another building on the property. We left behind some clothing which Renee was kind enough to sent to us after we left.

Staying in Windham

I think the property is wonderful and worth a stay. The owner made our stay comfortable and communication was very good. The house was clean and cared for by the owner. That said I must state that the information provided about the house was misleading, the house is listed as four bedrooms there are only three, the house was listed as having two bathrooms and they have a bathroom and half (hallway pocket washroom), and while wi-fi was listed as available it never worked even when we contacted the owner about the situation she admitted it was sporadic at best. Aside from these issues we had a great stay, its a great house to rent and if we were in the area again and were one couple we would rent this house. Renee (owner) is wonderful.

because of being a new host the setting up the listing was a tad confusing in the vrbo data..it lists "sleeping areas" and then made them bedrooms after hearing the situation i came home and reentered and was able to fix..there are pics of the sleeping areas and descriptions and wonderful news we were able to contact the cable company who said yes they would service the house for wifi..so w that being said..that is fixed and i thank my guests for their communication w the issues at hand and glad we could rectify them..we also installed a phone since cell service is not the greatest..so that in case of emergency there was a phone..so i think it was wonderful that they had issues we could fix! very clean guests! and being one of my first big groups it was a trial run for the 20percent discount i allow in lieu of new stuff..so alas tis fixed! thank you!

Perfect stay in the catskills

We were looking for a quiet and clean place to spend several days with our two young sons and with enough space for my mother and my sister and her partner to join for part of the time. Being a new listing, we were slightly hesitant to book but the location was good for us so we took a chance. So glad we did! From the beginning, Renee was extremely responsive and helpful, answered all of our questions and made helpful recommendations about the area. When we arrived we were very pleased to find the place exactly as described, extremely clean and well equipped. The yard space is lovely with covered front and back patios, a grill with outdoor table and chairs (great for eating at and playing cards/board games) and a separate fire pit with Adirondack chairs in the yard. Inside, everything was uncluttered and very clean, the kitchen well equipped with all necessary appliances, dishes, pots/pans etc for cooking great meals (limited ingredients but some basic seasonings were there). The best part was how wonderful of a host Renee was! She left us thoughtful goodies (s’mores supplies, baby soap and lotion and coloring books for our kids) and fresh eggs from her chickens. The second day we were there we sent a message asking about a few things - a sheet pan and 9x13 baking dish and where we could find a broom - and while we were out on a 2 hour hike she had delivered all of these things (brand new) to the back porch. Wow! The area is very remote (which we wanted) but the WiFi in the house works flawlessly, there is a land line for calls, and there is a large supermarket and liquor store 2.5 mi away. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return!!

this family was wonderful to host!!!! very friendly, easy to communicate with and clean , i even got a recipe i'm going to try! i would surely be happy to have them stay at our house again!

close to trail riding, tourism area, very scenic area and safe neighborhood..close to town for any needed grocery or supply for guests, also quiet street for a nice stroll... local resort area for extra local fun! whether you're here to work or here to play the house is roomy , quiet and comfortable..!! please feel free to specify if i can make your visit extra special as in romantic getaway..we can set up flowers and wine..or if you need something special...we try to accommodate!!! also my salon is on the property adjacent so my hours are by appointment only , if you care to schedule a styling..advance appointment may be needed..if i'm available i'd be happy to spruce you up for whatever my salon fees for that service would be.
