The kitchen was fully equip, the laundry area was equipped, rags provided, spacious, nice neighborhood buuut half did design and repair work, old pee smell throughout house, halfway working lock on back door, broken recliners, oven was not properly cleaned, lawn not up to par, very thrown together, windows were not locked... not worth price

We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and was happy to see that they replaced the bunk beds in the photos with two twin beds. My kids enjoyed the snack Mrs. Valerie left for us. It’s a close drive to the beach which is where we spent most of our time. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy very inviting, comfortable and no major issues. The host Valarie was very welcoming and friendly. The only thing that would have made it better is a longer vacation time and the beds need updated, and showers need updated.

Comfort at a good price

This was my 1st home rental and I was very pleased. Had a slight issue and the owner recrified it immediately. The house was spacious and comfortable . Large appliances and confy beds and furniture. Right in the middle of everything for us so location was great. Hated to leave.

Perfect!!

Nice home away from home with everything needed even seasonings like salt, pepper and other items easily forgotten when vacationing!! The home was clean with high end washer and dryer, stove and fridge. My husband, son and mom went with me. My mom is still raving to anyone that will listen about how nice the property is. Definitely would stay again!! The owner even placed snacks and a bottle of wine out!!

It’s definitely an older home. There was a cockroach coming out of the sink on the bathroom counter. There was a face towel with something on it. Not sure if it was blood or something. Other than that it was an ok place to lay our heads.

Location good even though not on the water.

Property Manager lives next door. We did okay. There are two rooms that need attention. Center bed has no slats under mattress so my grandson and his wife pulled the mattress to floor. The bunk beds in front room rocked so boys put their mattresses on the floor too. My bed and bath were fine in the back but the bath next to the kitchen needs attention. All in all and because I’m not that “picky” it’s a clean and quiet house. I felt bad that my family had to make adjustments so they could sleep. Is what it is. There’s always reasons why things aren’t “perfect”. I would rather not complain and make adjustments to make stay better. I needed to get away and felt the beach would be good and listen to the waves. It didn’t work out the way I’d wished, but that’s no reflection on Valerie. I’m blessed to have been able to go there. Thank you Valerie.

1st time and happy

1st time we rented a house and it went well. This house was comfortable and homey with flowers and paintings and personal touches. Full size appliances and comfortable beds and all you can ask for. Loved having seperate bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the magnetic showerhead. Want to buy one now. The location was great for us because we drove to Bay St Louis and D Iberville and all around. Very happy

We were very disappointed in this stay, given that it was advertised as being stunning. The kitchen has a high end oven and high end washer and dryer, the dining table was nice and the furniture in the family room was nice. However, the bathrooms were a whole different story. In the master bath shower, the handle for the hot water came off so it wasn't useable until my husband did a temporary fix toward the end of the stay. We did contact the local person but it was over Christmas so it was not going to be convenient for us to have anyone come and fix it. It was obviously a known problem. When the shower was turned on, the water continued to pour out of the tub faucet as well as the shower head. There was paint in the shower from where they tried to decorate. The shower head in the main bathroom was not adjustable and pointed straight to the back of the shower, which meant you had to hold the shower head to be able to use it. The tub surround moved when I tried to adjust the head. Both toilets had wooden toilet seats, which should not be in a rental. The vanity in the master bath is held shut with a hook and eye. Neither bathroom had towel bars-just holes where the previous ones were. This house is very difficult to keep warm. We had the unfortunate timing to be there during the cold spell over Christmas and the floor was freezing cold due to the house being on blocks and open underneath and the heating ducts were in the ceiling. There was just no way to stay warm, even with shoes on. The mattress in the bedroom was completely sunken in on the left side (If you are sitting on it). Overall, it still needs quite a bit of work to make it up to the standard of a VRBO rental. I have picture of the areas in question but no way to load them up. There is a small hole in one corner of the middle bedroom, and a large rotted hole in the ceiling in the bedroom closet- and we did find several bugs. We covered the hole and across the bottom of the closet door. It was pet friendly and the front porch has nice wooden rockers to sit on, both which helped but did not make up for the other issues.

Family getaway

We completely enjoyed our weekend. It was great to be able to take our 5 year old yorkie with us and not have to pay an arm an a leg for pet fees. House met all our needs. If we had cooked while in town we would have been set up to do so with no problem. It's close enough to the main beach road that you don't have to drive long to get to food and fun. We did not find beach chair and umbrella rentals in Gulfport so we drove down to Biloxi beach. Next rip down we will defiantly look to see if this house is available.
