Beautiful Views

There were ants on the bathroom & kitchen counter, as well as the bed. The sinks in the bathroom have rust in them, and the dish washer needs to be cleaned or replaced. Due to no AC, there need to be multiple fans available throughout the unit, not just in the bedroom.In spite of those things, we still enjoyed the amazing views from the balcony, and having access to a golf cart always makes the experience a lot more enjoyable, as you are able to move around the island with ease.I have stayed in other units In Hamilton Cove. This is the first time I was disappointed.

Excellent view, just as pictured. Enjoyed our stay very much. Property was clean, could have used a few more items in the kitchen for cooking but otherwise, everything was just as described.

Great place to stay!

This location is like a private oasis with beautiful views all around. The room itself was clean and a perfect size for my husband and I. We will be back!

Fun family trip

We loved our stay! Nice condo with beautiful views and a fun golf cart ride into town. The host was very responsive when we had questions and allowed us an early check in which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Amazing views!

This place is all about the views. The community amenities are great too. We enjoyed the basketball court and the private beach and used the golf cart everyday, jus be prepared for a lil bumpy ride!!

Great views from Cali Mediterranean condo

The location was great. Views from the semi-private balcony were awesome. We would stay here again. Only suggestion is some instructions on how to open the sleeper couch and to replace the mattress, sags in the middle.

Our favorite condo!

This was our second time staying here and we loved it both times. Beautiful place and the view was awesome. The golf cart worked great and was fairly new. Denise and Veronica were both great and helped us when we left a sweatshirt. Very accommodating. Will stay here again.

Beautiful, peaceful property

Gorgeous property, inside and out! Absolutely loved our stay. 67 steps to the unit, but worth every step for the amazing view! No AC, but in July this was no problem — just opened a window to bring in the cool evening air. Having a golf cart to get around is a must, and so appreciated having one included. Twice we even encountered deer walking across the road while coming up and down the mountain. So beautiful! This was an experience we won’t soon forget!

Beautiful location!

We had an amazing time! Management team was super friendly and responsive. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The view was the best part. We got up every morning and watched the sunrise. Wish we knew to ask the taxi driver to drop us off at the top so we didn't have to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs, but it was worth it.

Great Location, But Definitely Due for Some TLC

We’ve stayed at this condo three times now, and unfortunately, this will likely be our last. We’ve always enjoyed the location and have continued coming back, but the condo has noticeably gone downhill with each visit.At this point, it feels very dingy, dark, and overdue for a deep clean and refresh. There was also a strong musty/mold-like smell near the kitchen that made us concerned there may be a water leak or moisture issue. I reached out to the property manager during our stay to make them aware of it but never received a response.The furnishings and finishes throughout the condo also feel pretty worn and inexpensive, and overall the unit just doesn’t feel as well cared for as it should for the price.We also had an ongoing safety issue with the golf cart. One of the rear seatbelts does not work, which meant our two young children couldn’t safely sit together in the back. We actually brought this to their attention after our visit last year, so it was disappointing to find that it still hadn’t been repaired.We’ve made some really fun Catalina memories here over our three stays, which is why it’s disappointing to leave this review. The condo has so much potential and is in a great location — it’s just really due for some attention, a facelift, a thorough cleaning, and a few important repairs.

Bathroom needs some cosmetic work, like new caulking around the bathtub, remove rust stains from one sink, replace sink stopper as there was not one there. Golf cart sounded like it needed a tune up. Housekeeping left toothpaste on counter from previous guest, and a dirty sponge at the kitchen sink (I have pictures) which had brown stains that I didn't want to touch, let alone use it to wash dishes. Bed was comfortable, great view.

Felt like Greece

The views were to die for! I felt like I was back in Santorini Greece!! everything was so close to downtown eight minutes away The beautiful Decanso beach was so much fun and riding in the golf cart, that was included in the total, was a treat and so much fun to ride around in. Just be aware of the stairs going up. I think I probably lost a couple pounds in a few days. I think it was about five flights of stairs so be prepared, but the view was worth it. Denise the host was very professional, and we are given many notices and lots of information about the place.

Beautiful views and everything you need!

The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The apartment was clean and it had everything we needed to cook beautiful meals - whether on the grill or inside. We were there to recuperate after a convention in Long Beach so we were happy to spend a lot of time during this winter season just drinking coffee on the spacious balcony, sleeping well and waking up to the ocean views, and eating at home. The pool and spa are located just a stone's throw from the apartment and we enjoyed them too. They even accommodated our request to check in early. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
