Mattresses are tricky because what may be comfortable to one person might be uncomfortable to the next. We have inspected all mattresses and the water pressure in the shower to make sure everything is good to go for future stays. Joshua, thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad the space worked well for your family and that you found the kitchen well-equipped. We appreciate your suggestions and will work on those improvements. This home does not have AC, which is good information for future guests to note. Air conditioning is certainly a rare find in Tahoe, which is why we provide portable fans in every bedroom. For future guests, we always recommend leaving the blinds closed during the day, then opening the windows in the evening to let in the brisk mountain air. Labeling the light switches is a great idea, and we’ll consider that as well. We hope to host you again and provide an even better experience for your family Joshua!

Michael, thanks for your review. We’re glad to hear our spacious home was comfortable for your group and that you enjoyed its incredible location. We appreciate your feedback on the home, and apologize for the condition of the backyard furniture and lack of a hose. We have discussed with the owners about replacing these items to make your next stay more comfortable. For future guests to note, we provide a generous amount of toilet paper and paper towels, but if you have a larger group or are staying for an extended period of time, you may need to purchase or bring replacements. Also, we provide a full set of bath, hand and washcloths, plus 2 beach towels for every bedroom. We do encourage guests to use the laundry in the home if you would like to refresh your towels. For any future stays, please give us a call if you are having any issues/ or have any requests for the home and we will help troubleshoot right away. We’re so glad our home’s fully equipped kitchen, beautiful fireplace, and big comfortable living spaces made for the perfect place to hunker down and enjoy family time during the storm. For future guests to note, VRBO is an advertising site for owners and/or Property Management Companies. When you book one of our homes through the VRBO website, you are working directly with RnR Vacation Rentals for the full duration of your stay. All of the taxes and fees are listed when you book on VRBO, so there are no surprises. We apologize that the tourism tax for El Dorado County was increased January 1, 2023 and that impacted your reservation. The taxes that you paid go directly to our city or County. For future guests to note, the dining room table seats 6 guests plus additional bar stools for extra seating, and we provide additional space heaters in each bedroom if needed. If anything else arises, we are available to help resolve any issues that you might have, just give us a call.
