Welcome to our Villa, Encanto Del Sur (Southern Charm)
This Villa is located in the prime South Shore area of Puerto Vallarta where the ocean meets the lush jungle vegetation of the Sierra Madre mountains, and cascades into the blue ocean. Villa Encanto del Sur is nestled into the Garza Blanca hillside with panoramic 270° sweeping views of Banderas Bay. It was designed with exceptional old world Mexican & colonial charm with open beam ceilings and a foyer cupola. This private vacation rental is 4 miles from the historic Old Town, 4 miles from The Romantic Zone and the Los Muertos Beach Pier.
Transportation is safe, easy and convenient. Cabs are readily available, across the street at the Garza Blanca Resort. Uber is convenient, fast and inexpensive. Or make the 10 minute trip downtown on the city bus. Fare to town is $0.50 usd, buses run on a 20 min schedule and it stops directly in front of the Villa.
Friendly bi-lingual administrative staff and house manager are available to help make your stay easy and memorable.
For an additional fee, you can take advantage of our private chef/caterer, who would be happy to have a hot meal and margaritas waiting. Extra services also include kitchen and pantry stocking, with your personal grocery list, prior to your arrival.

Beautiful Property

Rae was helpful and full of suggestions and information. The property itself was beautiful. The villa was well taken care of and the property staff were very responsive and helpful. We loved having the use of the private pool and access to hiking trails and beaches. The only down side was the noise. The highway outside was loud as was the construction going on outside of the villa.

Great condo

If you’re looking for that classic Mexican style this is it! We always strive to stay in the southern parts of PV because we love the true Mexican style. This condo is great! It has its own hot water tank! Ya, lots of you out there get it! The pool is fantastic, and the guys that work to take care of everything from the pool to your every need are there and love to help. From check-in to check-out, Rae, the owner, was so helpful. We spent 3 weeks there and love this place and will be back! Read some of the other reviews to get some things I didn't want to repeat, but for us, we loved every day there.

Wedding vacation

Our friend was getting married so we decided to turn it into a vacation. There were 3 of us staying in the house. The house was very comfortable, AC worked, kitchen fully stocked, TVs in every room, a private swimming pool with a nice area to just hang out. A pleasant surprise was the fact that we could drink the water from the sink. The house had a beautiful view. We were a quick uber ride to the Malecon area to get a bite to eat or hang out. If you want food for the house I would suggest stopping at a market before you head to the house. Check in was super easy. Make sure you give yourself some extra time if you have to be someplace at a specific time just in case uber wait time takes a while. There is a beautiful hike to the waterfalls next to the property about a 3 hour trip start to finish. Swimming in the water was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

We love this part of P.V. The staff take care of anything you would need in a timely manner and are super friendly! MERCEDES, the house manager, is always available to address any issues or needs you may have. The views are breathtaking...

A must stay!! Beautiful oasis with an authentic Hispanic vibe 😍

Beautiful oasis with an authentic Hispanic vibe 😍. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is pretty awesome. The view is spectacular. The pool is very inviting, located right off the kitchen and dining room. All the windows and doors open so you have a wonderful indoor outdoor feel. The condo is up high enough there is a breeze so you only need the AC at night in the bedrooms. The master does not have blackout curtains and I wished it would have (issue for us because we had littles). The second bedroom does though. The beach is a short walk right in front of another resort. They have a man made cove that’s perfect for swimming, very relaxing and the area is very safe. We walked down the road for tacos.. a must! Uber is super easy or the gate attendant will get you a taxi. Just at the bottom of the complex is a hike to a beautiful waterfall, people from all over drove to come hike it. The sunsets from the balcony (really everywhere In the house) are breathtaking. Beds are just okay but they get the job done! Mercedes is the house assistant and was very helpful with whatever needs we had. She was able to schedule a chef to come and cook for us for a few nights and that was wonderful!! Mercedes was able to schedule us transportation from the airport, grocery store and even that annoying mandatory Covid testing to leave. The owner was so nice! She would answer my every question and worked with me on a last minute booking. If I have to complain/ do different it would be the road noise. And the jackhammer from the construction going on directly below us. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Little condiments are available. Don’t forget ICE. Take Uber from the airport. la comer is the best grocery store but it’s right by the airport, so stop on your way. The grocery store is also not near by so stock up before you go to the condo. Only 2 restaurants within walking distance (that we found). Would bring a stereo next time. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy on the coast

The property is amazing, completely made you feel like you are in Mexico. Can't beat the view and outside pool area. Owner and her team were wonderful to work with. We had a car so drove into town when needed. Beach is an easy walk. My only comment would be there is some road noise.

Lovely Villa with Stunning Views

This is a stunning villa with views of the bay from almost every single window. The sunsets are extraordinary, and the rooms were very comfortable and attractive. The pool was incredibly inviting, with perfect water temperature throughout the day. The property manager was very accommodating and responsive, and we found her very helpful in so many ways, including arranging transport from and to the airport. It's a bit far from town, but we found Uber to be very good -- averaging anywhere from a 3 to 12 minute wait (so factor that in if you need to make a restaurant reservation). It's very easy to get a taxi from town back to the villa. We like to cook (and didn't want to miss too many sunsets) and the kitchen well well stocked with all the appliances we needed to cook delicious meals. It's a perfect villa for one or two couples -- we will definitely return!
