We loved the location!! Right across the street is the Lachine canal with amazing walking trails, bike paths, sunset views, and lighthouses! It is a bit of a drive into town, so be aware of that. The house interior was great. It’s a tri level with bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The kitchen had everything we needed. Parking is complicated. There is one spot in the back and then free parking across the street if you can snag a spot. Bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and had almost everything we needed. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Vlad was a good communicator.

First impression was terrible. Grass in the front yard hadn’t been cut in a very long time, long weeds growing up through the front step and what looked to be a non-working bbq left beside the front step. Cob webs all over the front veranda and on the patio furniture. It sure could have used a good sweeping. The house from the outside didn’t looked lived in. Otherwise the house inside was beautiful and as advertised.

Being directly on the waterfront means insects and cobwebs can reappear remarkably quickly, even after cleaning, but the veranda and patio should still have been freshly inspected before your arrival. The lawn was serviced on the day of your departure, although we recognize that this should have happened sooner. We have since strengthened our exterior maintenance checks so that the presentation outside matches the standard and care found throughout the home. We appreciate your comments and are glad you otherwise enjoyed the property.

The home was perfect for our extended family, we each had own space to sleep and it was comfortable and clean. The location is beautiful and an easy drive into Montreal. Parking was easy and convenient, perfect if you plan to have a car with you. Appreciated that the host checked in during our stay and was available if needed.
