This makes "Une BelleVue" on Campobello Island the perfect getaway for relaxing, bird watching, long walks and cozy romantic nights.

Campobello Holiday
We had an amazing five days on the island biking, walking and lying at the beach.
Watching the tides was all of our favourite!
Magdaline, was a great host and the cottage had everything we needed including comfortable furniture!
We would highly recommend staying here!

Great experience on Campobello!
My wife and l stayed at Magdalen’s beautiful property located within walking distance to the Head lighthouse on the north side of the island. The property was spotless,has a stunning view of the ocean and access to a pristine beach. Our host was gracious and warm. We look forward to staying there again.

Incredible location, cozy home
Fully stocked kitchen, clean home, comfortable beds and a cozy livingroom with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a pathway that leads down to the beach and cove. Magdalen was very responsive to our questions and is a perfect host.

Melissa was the perfect guest and it's not easy to find the correct words to describe the characteristics she possess.
She and her husband were pleasant, communicative, quiet and easily approachable and their pet Sage is such a sweetheart.

Peaceful Stay
My husband, dog, and I had a wonderful time at this property! The unit was clean and well-kept and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and admiring the view, taking our dog to the beach, walking to the lighthouse, and exploring the island. It is such a peaceful location and a great weekend retreat, which was exactly what we were looking for. Magdalen was a friendly and flexible host. I highly recommend a stay here!

Fantastic Location on Campobello Island
We stayed here during a family reunion on Campobello Island. The cottage was very comfortable for the 3 of us. This rental had everything that anyone would need. There is a gorgeous view to the East. The lighthouse is 0.5 miles up the road. Be sure to ask the host about the trail to the beach!

A cozy cottage in the perfect spot
The cottage is perfectly located near East Quoddy light and isolated from other houses. It has direct access to a gorgeous, calm beach that was just for ourselves.
The cottage is fantastically equipped and has a big kitchen and very comfortable rooms.
Magdalen made us feel at home and was always accessible if we had any questions!
A very special place. We’ll definitely come back to Bellevue!!

Beautiful Campobello!
We loved this little cottage, on the very quiet side of the island. Very clean, and well appointed, with views of the water. In walking distance to the Head Harbor Lighthouse. Magdalen was a wonderful hostess, and went above & beyond to help us book a whale watching tour with East Quoddy Tours (which was a great outing! saw many whales, porpoises & seals). We enjoyed the fire pit (which Magdalen had set up for us!) and the peace of the area. We would definitely stay here again.

First visit to Campobello with a buddy!
Comfy two days of hanging with a friend, visiting the Rooseveldt "cottage" for the tour and "tea with Eleanor", walking the 1/2 mile to the very scenic lighthouse, poking around on foot and by car seeing the TALL docks to accommodate the tides, eating on the deck and talking about our husbands and families, far away. Great beds, fully stocked kitchen - Bring bug spray for the skeeters! Magdalen is a great hostess! Nice quiet place to hide and write your doctoral dissertation!

This property was very beautiful as was the hospitality of Magdela. We would highly recommend staying here. The tranquility mixed with solitude was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Finding so many beach treasures was the biggest highlight for us each. Especially the red and blue seaglass pieces, along with rose , brown , white , aqua, turquoise , and green. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

Lovely
We’ve stayed at this lovely property two years in a row and plan to visit again in the future. The host is so lovely and helpful, but is not at all intrusive. The view of the ocean is wonderful and it is fun to watch the boats going to and from the harbor. There is a family of eagles that make regular appearances. The kitchen has all the equipment you might need, coffee maker, blender, even a springform pan! We had a lovely evening watching the full moon rise while sitting around a fire in the fire pit. What great memories!

Where do I begin? When writing reviews it is said that we should always tell the truth however, person's like me, with a soft, kind heart try their best to overlook certain things because life is worth making the most of and not dwelling on the negatives.
I have seen reviews of other host and they have prompted me to make a difference and am sure I does, since my place is equipped with items that no other host carries at they place.
I have been fair in my pricing and I don't have a cleaning fee. However, I do have a pet fee since I have to get all evidence of pet out for the next guest and since I don't know who's allergic I have to clean and clean some more.
This young lady, when booking disregarded the pet fee. I over looked that, she left the dog alone a couple times and am assuming in the back bedroom because he took his anger out on my gueen size fleece blanket and tore it almost to bits. She took one of my shopping bags, another disrespect and threw the blanket in the garbage (I was outside when I saw her throwing it away) and she was not going to say anything if I did not ask what was that she was throwing out, again I told her not to worry about it.
Since I did not know a dog was coming I did not put out the necessary things to accommodate the dog. She took out the dog mat, used it with the dog water and food bowls and after using them she folded up the dirty dog mat, I also overlooked that.
The night of her arrival around 10:30 pm I went to wash my hands and there was no water (we're on a well). I message her, got no answer so I went knocking, my husband fix the problem by adjusting the water pressure.
When I went to clean after check-out, I saw some of the boards around the tub was showing evidence that there was an overflow of water. I overlooked that (I know I shouldn't have)
She left a very good message in the guest book about the wonderful stay she had. Later when I ask about a review, this is what she said, " I did not realize I was spending it with you, therefore I can't give a review.
What was I missing here?...there is nothing in my listing that says, anything different than I am next door. Even some guest mentioned that" Mags" is right next door if needed. (don't people read listings and reviews) that's where she would have known I lived on the property, it's not a secret. (guest have the entire house) I live next door.
And if I was not next door when she drained the well of water what would she have done? that water had to be running non-stop.
I also allowed her to charged her electric car at No cost.
I find her selfish for after letting her off the hook for, the dog fee and the ripped up blanket and the wet floor boards, and I did not mention that there was a 2kg bag of lavender bath salts, she opened and used the entire bag.
What a selfie person.

I chose Campobello to retire. I love the fresh ocean breeze coming off the ocean and it is absolutely beautiful here. Going for long walks, bike riding, watching the fishing boats out at sea, wading my feet in the water down by the beach, bird watching and simply enjoying my surroundings is just a few of the many things this Island has to offer.
I love this Oceanview property with the beach right in my backyard, which is accessible with no obstructions of rocks and boulders with seaweed to cross over to get to it, just a beautiful almost private beach which is enclosed in it's own little cove. I love the property for its serenity, beauty and secludedness, the nature of the surroundings, the fresh sea breeze, the deer's I see occasionally, the whales and bald eagles and other beautiful birds, the spectacular views of the ocean from the house and the feeling of peacefulness.

You will also see fishing boats coming in at night with their daily catch as they sail by with colorful lights on, very beautiful.
Guest can also sit by the firepit at night or in the cool of the evening and simply enjoy the view.
