Wow! As you can see from all of our other reviews that we have ever gotten about the Starfish cottage it is an amazing place. I have never had a party of 3 say the cottage was too small. The Master bedroom is 17 by 24 with queen bed, 3 seating areas with chairs and ottomans that has a wall of glass windows and patio door opening onto a wonderful deck with a dining table and other seating. The second bedroom has 1 double bed, the 3 rd bedroom has a set of bunk beds and the loft has 2 twin size mattresses for sleeping. Most of the time the bunk room and the loft have been used by children but we have had 3 couples plus children there before who used the bunk room and even the loft. The cottage is nearly 1000 square feet. We don't provide food items for guests or bug spray. We have the 2 ceiling fans clearly marked on the switches so I am sorry Barbara had some confusion over this. We haven't had any complaints about the screened in room in fact most people rave about having the screened in porch with direct views to the sunsets and the wildlife like whales, seals and eagles that pass by. The screened in porch also has a dining area, couch, loveseat and other chairs. If you look at the photos you will see pretty much exactly what the cottage is like but most people tell me it is better than the pictures that we have on the website. Take your time and read the other reviews and make your own mind up. You won't regret your stay at this gem of a cottage on Campobello Island!!

So glad Daniel and his family enjoyed the amazing 5 Star Oceanfront and Private Starfish Cottage!! I have to say in 36 years of renting these amazing Oceanfront Cottages I have never had a review like this one! As you look at the other reviews which are 5 stars you will see for yourself!! The first time I stopped was to get supplies out of our storage shed which services all four private oceanfront cottages. The shed is located on the front of the lot at the Starfish Cottage and It is a distance from the front door and Daniel came out to say hello and invited me in. I came in and he said how much they loved the cottage and location but couldn't find the key. I gave him my key while I checked with the cleaning lady to see if she had any information about the key which we always leave hanging on a hook in the entryway. The next day I found the key in a jacket pocket of mine so I took it over to the cottage to give it to them and let them know I had found the key. They didn't answer the front door but I heard talking and thought they might be around back at the screened in porch. I went to the back and saw them in the living room so I knocked on the door to give them the key they were concerned about. So sorry they felt uncomfortable with this. I thought I was doing the right thing as they were concerned the key was lost. I have to say I was a little set back by their review but not sure how I could have done anything differently.

We were delighted to host Carin and her wonderful family and home they can return. With an unusally wet spring, as most of the entire country experienced, they made the best of the situation. We are so happy the family enjoyed the very unique and charming Starfish Cottage on the ocean.

Scott and his family, by returning to Campobello and staying at one of our larger and private oceanfront cottages was able to experience the views, wildlife and serenity of the locations of our cottages and the Island. After staying in our one bedroom Periwinkle Cottage he choose the Starfish Cottage, which has three bedrooms and a loft sleeping area along with a screened in porch and deck area overlooking the ocean with adirondack chairs, We highly recommend Scott and his family to other innkeepers and cottage owners.
