The cabin is nice but lacking. No fire pit other than a propane. If you like a fire this is a big deal.The grill brush is worn down to the plastic with the metal needles flaking off. They ask you to “clean the grill” but there wasn’t a usable brush. The grill itself is rusty and needs replacement. Had to figure out how to clean it just to make a burger.Amenities are tired and worn- pillows need updating, extras available like soaps and toothbrushes if needed but all feel old. The games box is filled with pieces of games- no cards or basics. No one has gone through and reviewed the inventory. The cabin itself is pretty and a nice view. The road across the lake is busy and makes it feel less like lake getaway. Cabin is in a nice location for going into town and going to other places for hiking. Would consider staying again if they make the updates needed. Some spices available in the cabinet but also old- and leftover from previous guests.For the price there are too many little things missing that make a stay “worth it”.

We've spoken with our team about the grill and plan to look into replacing worn parts or the unit itself, with regular inspections going forward, and we'll check the games box to replace any missing or broken pieces. We also replenish and replace amenities and linens regularly, and we've noted your comments about the pillows and the road across the lake.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It had a nice cozy vibe with a great kitchen. The loft upstairs was perfect and the optional tv viewing or large window view was nice too. Plenty tomdmin the area. We were there for the winter carnival which was so much fun

Cozy cottage

Saranac lakefront cabin

Great cabin located directly on Saranac Lake. Well kept and very clean. Found everything my family needed during the stay. The loft bedroom is great for kids (or parents). Great location.

Relaxing Summer Family Vacation Spot

The location was great. It is central to a lot of fun family-friendly locations: Whiteface Mtn and all the Olympic attractions. The house is small, but cozy. The air conditioning struggled a little to reach the downstairs bedroom. All of the other amenities were fantastic.

Reasonably private for a cottage on the lake along with others near by. Kitchen very well equipped. Only issue was internet connectivity was inconsistent, interfering with watching a movie. I imagine that is out of the owner's control.
