Driftwood - Waterfront Cottage
The house is surrounded by reserve with direct access to the waterfront. Take advantage of the tranquil setting and dreamy sunsets, perfect for swimming, fishing, walking and kayaking. It is also within walking distance to beaches, jetties, Soldiers Point Marina, restaurants, cafes and the local Bowling club.
Driftwood is a 10 minute walk to Bannisters restaurants, including the famous Rick Stein restaurant, café, pub and spa. Also nearby is Pearson Park, which has large, shaded grass areas, picnic tables, BBQ, toilets, playground and safe swimming at beautiful Sunset Beach. A ten minute walk to the Marina offers more restaurants, cafes, tennis courts, a playground and boat ramp. The Wanda shops are just 2.5kms away and offer a variety of shops, spas, cafes and restaurants.
The House –Driftwood is a beautifully refurbished waterfront cottage with direct water access and a 5 minute walk or paddle to beautiful Sunset Beach. The waterfront directly behind the house is the best position to enjoy the spectacular sunsets, complete with a seating area. If you’d rather stay on the rear deck to enjoy the last rays, it is very well equipped with an outdoor kitchen with mini bar fridge, lounge and dining areas, gorgeous greenery and a gas BBQ, creating the perfect atmosphere for entertaining. Five bedrooms and three and a half baths, two lounge areas, and central ducted air-conditioning, will allow you to enjoy lazy days and beautiful sunsets. Smart TVs for the multiple living rooms accompanied with free Wi-Fi makes holidaying easier by connecting your streaming services.
Polished floorboards and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen will make catering for your family and friends sociable and a real pleasure. Our kitchen includes a large breakfast bar with seating for four, fridge/freezer combination, range oven and cooktop, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, sandwich press and a dishwasher.
The master Queen suite includes a spa bath overlooking the deck and garden, while bedroom two contains two King Singles. The third spacious bedroom is situated upstairs above the garage and has a Queen plus a day bed and trundle (which would suit two children). It also contains an ensuite bathroom and self contained kitchenette with fridge, toaster and kettle and a small table and chairs, an ideal parent or teenage retreat. Bedroom four and five are both equipped with Queen sized beds.
The garage is not for guests use, however there is parking available in front of the garage for four cars.
PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.
ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 adults & 2 children, total maximum guest 12.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas and pillows are also supplied.
Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.
BOND - $2000 is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.
All booking guests, including Airbnb reservations, are required to complete a secure online guest agreement within 24 hours of booking. This includes providing valid photo identification (driver’s licence) and credit card verification
CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($150). Bookings made via 3rd party website will have their own policy.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.
NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property.
PLEASE NOTE: PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, WEDDINGS (WEDDING RELATED), GRADUATES and or SCHOOL/TEENAGER bookings are not accepted.
