Das Kdwood Cottage liegt nur 19 km vom Südtor des Yosemite-Nationalparks und 6 km vom beliebten Bass Lake entfernt. Perfekt für alle, die dem Trubel der Stadt entfliehen möchten oder einfach auf dem Weg nach Yosemite einen Zwischenstopp einlegen möchten. Die Lage am Lewis Creek auf 3000 Metern Höhe bietet kühle Sommer und milde Winter. Die Unterkünfte sind perfekt für zwei Personen. . Die Wand zum Schlafzimmer ist eine halbe Wand ohne Tür. Es verfügt über ein weiches Queensize-Bett, ein Sofa zieht sich zu einem überraschend bequemen Kingsize-Bett zusammen, ist jedoch beim Öffnen ziemlich voll. Es gibt ein großes Badezimmer mit einer Badewanne mit Klauenfüßen und eine voll ausgestattete Küche für alle, die speisen möchten. Mehrere Restaurants sind nur 5 km entfernt in Oakhurst sowie ein Restaurant am Bass Lake. Sie haben vollen Zugang zu Lewis Creek, um es in Ihrer Freizeit zu genießen.

Perfect home away from home

We wanted something out of the city/town yet close enough to all of the area attractions and this was the perfect spot with all of the amenities that you might need. The creek beside the cabin was an amazingly, awesome and beautiful plus. We highly recommend this cabin for your vacation getaway!

Simply delightful!

We absolutely loved this darling cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. Host does an amazing job getting everything ready. We were greeted with flowers and delicious homemade cookies. We had to change the number of nights we visited and Katy and Luana were wonderful to deal with. It’s a gorgeous ride to Yosemite Valley from here but is a distance so be aware when planning.

Perfect Yosemite Stay

This was the perfect stay for our short break in Yosemite. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The outside space was a bonus as we had great weather to use it. Our hosts were so accommodating and gave great information and support as well as some amazing freshly baked cookies. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

Lovely little cottage in gorgeous setting - Great Hosts!

Wonderful welcome with fresh flowers, homemade cookies, sparkling clean interior, and an amazing view. Great layout with a wall separating the sleeping area from the kitchen and living space - perfect for me, a night owl, who didn't want to disturb my husband, an early bird. :)It is quiet, serene, private, and within close proximity to Oakhurst if you need to pick up groceries, etc. I have to say, I was amazed at how well stocked the house was. I always bring my own backup cleaning supplies, kitchen essentials, backup towels and pillows, etc. I could have saved a lot of time packing!

Yosemite spring break

Easily within striking distance of Yosemite national Park. We biked the valley floor, climbed to the tops of gigantic waterfalls and retreated to Oakhurst to relax and recharge. Cute little cabin, everything we needed was there. In a quiet neighborhood, we never locked the doors and slept with the door by the bed open one night.

Cozy cottage perfection

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing, weeklong stay here! The cottage was just as we had hoped, cozy and comfortable, and convenient to all types activities, with hummingbirds as ‘co-guests’. And with the river running right behind, it could not have been more scenic and peaceful. So many memories from hiking at Yosemite, visiting Bass Lake, and exploring the Madera wine trail. Amazing Cottage

I cannot say enough about how perfect this little cottage was. The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts went above and beyond with all the little details. They were very responsive and kind. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The grounds were so beautiful. We loved the swing by the creek. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite. A Perfect Getaway Close to Yosemite National Park

We had a great stay at the charming and cozy cottage during our weekend getaway trip in February. With a very serene atmosphere, the place is truly made with love and thoughtful touches throughout, it made us feel home away from home. Locked only 30-20 minutes drive from the Yosemite park South entrance. Overall, we had a fantastic time and hope to return in the future!

Oakhurst Cottage

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations, and looked even better in person than online! The location was perfect, very close to the south entrance of Yosemite, and just outside of downtown Oakhurst. The cabin was in pristine condition, and we loved the cupcakes and ambiance when we walked in :). The creek nearby was very scenic as well. Our hosts were very accommodating and communicative. We definitely would recommend a stay here!

Perfect little cottage

We had an amazing time at our stay. It was a perfect little cabin/cottage for 2 people. We specially loved the river out back and the sweet lady that met one of the days that happen to be the co-owner i think. Along the river of peace and serenity…

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little cottage! We felt safe and the sound of the river was such a bonus! Thank you for allowing pets too! Everything we needed

Great location proximity wise to Yosemite National Park. The place was quaint and comfy, antique feel. It had everything we needed to sleep, rest, cook. The host was perfect and didn't bug us during the stay but also immediately responsive. I would recommend to include a brand new kitchen sponge, for some reason that always makes me feel better about the cleanliness of dishes when the visitor is responsible for washing all the dishes. We brought our dogs and they loved the creek area, but a little dangerous for our toddler but that's on us as parents. I thought the location was beautiful and just what we needed. Thank you!

A lovely, charming little log cabin bungalow situated on a hill in a beautiful, quiet riverside community. The Cottage is conveniently located 1/2 mile off Highway 41. We are just 11 miles to the South Gate of Yosemite, 4 miles to the popular Bass Lake, and 3 miles to the town of Oakhurst. The Cottage is quaint, and private, in a quiet neighborhood where you will go to sleep listening to the sound of the creek in the backyard.
