The Plateau Mont-Royal, this popular area that became yuppie-bohemian is by far the most hip in Montreal. Small intimate theaters, thrift stores, used bikes, exclusive boutiques, cafes, restaurants and delis add to the cultural ferment and bohemian atmosphere that characterize the Plateau, where all lifestyles converge.

This is the best place to really get a feel of what Montreal is all about. It’s community is predominantly francophone and highly eclectic. Artists, students, young professionals and new families mingle with each other, creating an extraordinarily vibrant and colorful human mosaic. Those who do not live there come as often as possible to play and go out, and for good reasons...

Four major arteries are heart the neighborhood: The Saint-Laurent Boulevard - `The Main` - where many cultural communities have established their shops, the Rue Saint-Denis and its multitude of shops, cafes and terraces, Prince Arthur Street and its restaurants `Bring your own wine` and the Mount Royal Avenue with bars both connected and relaxed. A constant hum contrasts with the tranquility of the side streets, the lined up stairs of twisted wrought iron, as well as the lush greenery of Parc La Fontaine.

At night, the Plateau is known to be especially entertaining and warm. From chic lounge to corner microbreweries, from a wide variety of restaurants and taverns to high caffeine content and lively discussions of all it’s coffee shops, the choice is rich. Musicians - Quebec art scene is extremely innovative and prolific - occur every night and all summer, the sidewalks are full of life. A night out, it`s here.

From the Airport, you can take bus 747 all the way to metro station Berri-Uqam. From there use the metro up to station Mont-Royal (only 2 stations). You are at the apartment within a walk of 8-12 minutes.

1. When you make a reservation with us, you are agreeing to all of the following House Rules. So please read carefully.

2. Guests are not allowed to make a reservation in their city of residence nor book for a third party, unless they obtained the host`s consent prior to booking. Please contact us if you`re from the greater Montreal area and/or booking for a third party. No such instant reservations are allowed. Note that if instant reservation of this kind occurs, we will have the right to cancel the reservation without guest`s notice or consent. Contact our team to learn more before confirming your booking.

3. Guest are required to fill an online Check-In form within a maximum of 48h after making the reservation and prior to checking in. The form will ask for a government issued ID, consistent with the identity of the person who made the reservation.

4. Check-in time occur between 4 pm and 11pm. You`re welcome to request an early check in, but this is not guaranteed and we can only confirm 24 hours in advance.

5. Parties or excessive noises are not allowed in our locations. Please respect other guests in the buildings. If more than one intervention is required or if the intervention of the police is required, all occupants will have to vacate the premises and the guest will lose the entire security deposit.

6. For the health and safety of all our guests, we DO NOT allow pets or smoking of any kind inside the apartment at any time. Breaking this rule will result in the loss of your entire security deposit.

7. The guest is responsible for keeping the space clean and in order. It is the responsibility of the guest to clean their dishes, bring furniture back to its original spot, pick up their trash and bring it out.

If a location is left in a messy state, we will charge $50 for every extra hour of cleaning required.

8. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.

9. If the number of people on the premises exceeds the number originally stated in the booking, the security deposit will be charged in full. Exceptions can occur.

10. If you notice anything that presents a danger that could result in damage to the location or to any individuals, let us know immediately. The condition of the premises is established before arrival and after departure. The visit after departure will allow the Landlord to review the general condition and cleanliness of the apartment. The premises must be return in perfect condition and entirely operational. Any damage to the apartment and its content will be charged to you, including a $ 50/hour fee to cover repair and/or replacement time (shopping, etc.).

11. If guests delay the cleaners from beginning their cleaning at the predetermined Check-Out time, guests will be charged $199/hour. This hourly fee doubles after 2h. The fee is applied at the start of the each subsequent hour.

This does not apply if our team has approved a late checkout in advance.

12. In the event that we have a legitimate cause for concern, (including but not limited to: electrical or plumbing issues, presence of pets, smoking inside the premises, overcrowding, neighbour complaint for excessive noise or other serious reasons), the apartment may be entered by a member of our team, without prior consent of the guest, to ensure its integrity.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is a gem. Great location with easy access to restaurants, parks, playgrounds, public pool, and shopping. We felt safe in the surrounding neighborhood and the condo is a 15-20 minute walk to the metro. Nice size kitchen and back patio with a grill.

Wow! This is an amazing location. Av Mont-Royal was shut down to vehicle traffic during our stay, so it was very quiet. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is a Bixi bike rack across the street, and the metro is nearby.The apartment was clean and was large enough for my group of 5 adults. There are plenty of dishes and utensils for when you're eating in.We would definitely come back the next time we're in Montreal.

Great location for a family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment itself was charming and clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our family of four. The neighborhood was terrific — very walkable with lots of interesting shops, bakeries, restaurants, parks and ice cream places a short walk away, and easy metro access for trips further afield. (With Ave Mont-Royal only open to pedestrians and bikes in the summer, driving was definitely tricky at times but walking was easy!)

Excellent location, nice apartment!

My family stayed here for a few days on a fall vacation and loved it. Check-in was very easy, which put my mind at ease with our flight arriving at night. The owner is very responsive, they replied immediately to my emails, which was so nice. This location can't be beat, it's easy walking distance to restaurants, metro, grocery, and more, yet does not have loud noise at night. The apartment is very nice, we had everything we needed and were sad to leave!

Family trip to Montreal

The place was great and the location could not be better. We really enjoyed being right on the walking street with all the restaurants and shops and a short walk to the Metro station. Driving around there is extremely challenging but the location made it so you didn't have to drive. It was hard to find the parking stall we paid for as part of the rental and it was challenging to get in and out of it in the tight alley. The accommodations themselves were really good and overall the place was excellent.

Wonderful stay in an incredible neighbourhood

This was my second stay in this exact VRBO rental. When I think of Montreal, this is where I go in my mind. The apartment is in an incredible neighbourhood, and was perfect for 3 girlfriends looking for adventure but also a safe and comfortable place to come home to at night. A multitude of restaurants and shopping. Close proximity to the metro, bikes The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and the host was prompt with responses if we had a question. I would absolutely rent this home again!

Location, location, location

This was the perfect spot to explore Montreal by foot and bike with rentals right outside the building and a main pedestrian only street around the corner. We used the back terrace and front balcony and loved the neighborhood. We walked to dinner every night and had some amazing food every night! The Metro was close by, but we were happy on bikes AND the protected bike lanes. Lots of gorgeous parks nearby, just a great all around choice to celebrate my 70th with my son and daughter.

Late July long weekend!

Our family of four had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean and easily accessible. Property managers were quick to respond. Location was quick access to the pedestrian friendly street of mont royal... Such a cool atmosphere. Highly recommend this apartment! Quick tip- pack light... It is on the second floor... and there are quite a few stairs to climb.

Completely adequate

The apartment was clean although a little rundown. Most of the doors wouldn't stay closed because the locks are cheap or perhaps not installed correctly, paint is chipped in places, walls were thin, shower was ancient. But the kitchen was very nice! We liked the neighborhood a lot and it was quiet at night and we all slept well. We were happy to have a deck, too. In general we did not think it was worth the cost, but you will totally have a fine stay here.

We are a couple in their thirties who have met 15 years ago working in restaurants. Being manager and waiter in that industry made us realize the importance of listening to our clients and how everything is in the details. We then found that we shared the same concerns: the quality of customer service and a real passion for Montreal!

After much discussion, we decided to pursue this to another level in the rental industry. We started with two apartments in 2011. We then continued to expand our business eversince. Now parents of two, we love running our family business and our 17 apartments. With our small yet friendly and professionnal team, we are dedicated to provide the best and responsive customer service, clean, stylish and fully-stocked locations so you can have a memorable stay in our beautiful city.
