Summary:
Searching for a unique and unforgettable space to spend your escape to the Texas Hill Country? Let Willie be your home-away-from-home. This endlessly charming and cozy tiny home is perfectly designed and stocked to make sure your next vacation to the Texas hill country is your best yet. Nestled inside the friendly community of Gladheart, you’ll enjoy a laid-back, glamping vibe with all the comforts of home, and a picture-perfect central location that keeps you close to downtown Fredericksburg.
The Space:
Willie is built from rustic wood siding and colorful corrugated metal so that it nearly blends in with the countryside surroundings. A small porch and stairs lead up to the front door. Once inside, Willie feels spacious and open, with just enough room to really relax. The living area has an ultra-comfortable sofa that faces a large flatscreen HDTV mounted in the corner. Wood planking on the walls and the ceiling keep the feeling cozy and rustic.
The galley kitchen is nearby and lines one wall of the tiny home. Surprisingly efficient and capable for such a small kitchen, you’ll find a spacious refrigerator, an induction cooktop, a convection oven, a microwave oven, and even a dishwasher. The charming apron front sink is mounted into the butcher block countertops. There’s plenty of cabinet space for storing the dishware, glassware, and pantry items. There’s also a Keurig coffee machine and a drip coffee maker for brewing your morning cup of joe.
Willie features two separate lofted sleeping areas. The first lofted bedroom is reachable by a staircase and includes a sumptuous king-size memory foam mattress draped in high-quality hotel linens. Small windows in this lofted area allow for fresh air flow and views of the rolling countryside from your bed. The second lofted sleeping area is accessible by an industrial-inspired ladder and has a pull-out futon that also acts as a secondary living area.
Back on the main level, the luxurious full bathroom includes a spacious tiled shower and a floating vanity sink and toilet. Willie is fully equipped with modern heating and cooling systems for your total comfort and even has a washer and dryer.
Outside, a private hot tub will be a popular space to relax during your stay. There’s also a barbecue for grilling out and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs for kicking back under the big Texas sky. Willie is tucked into the lovely community of Gladheart— giving guests access to a picnic area, small pond, friendly neighborhood goats, horseshoe pits, and a game room with a pool table. Located only minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg, Willie feels like a world away from it all and is the true escape you’ve been searching for.
