Perfect location

Our family of teenagers enjoyed this day. The shuttle was super convenient and very easy and made the independence of a teenager perfect for kids and parents.

My family and I had a great time at this property! We all fit comfortably. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near it all, but also be surrounded by peace and quiet! We also utilized the recreation center, which has many great amenities. My family would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location and Setting

This condo easily slept our family of 4 with a dog. The location is excellent for Northstar Village access. The free shuttle makes hitting the slopes a breeze!

Great find!

This was perfect for a spring ski week in Tahoe. It was tidy with new furnishings and fixtures. And it was conveniently located near the Northstar shuttle as well. Highly recommend!

Great condo

The condo was very spacious and lovely. The layout was ideal and perfect for spending time cooking and relaxing together as a family. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms as stated. It made everything so easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

If you love convenience this place is great. The shuttle picks you up right at the end of the street so you don’t have to drive into the village and worry about parking. It is a cute place but could definitely use a little TLC. The dishwasher is on its last leg and the property had a lot of cobwebs that needed to be cleaned up. The beds were comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay. We recommend.

We booked five nights in February 2024. We’re a Mom, Dad, 12 year old son, 10-year-old son and medium dog. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. There are two bedrooms downstairs with a full bath and laundry room then upstairs you have a full bath, kitchen, living room with a nice fireplace, large smart TV, small balcony and a loft for extra sleeping. Entry is split level with a mudroom for skis. The unit is part of a condominium development with its own parking lot and forest so we had great places to walk our dog and the kids could play in the snow. There is nice sledding below. There is a dedicated bus stop so you use the Northstar App anytime you want to head into Northstar Village or the Rec Center in about 5-10 minutes.

Some things worth noting

Although, the bathrooms appeared clean, they smell of urine. The front porch light didn’t work which was hard to punch the code in at night to unlock the door. The iron didn’t work. The master bedroom bedsheet had a yellow stain on it.

Christine, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: "Christine, thank you for sharing your experience. Upon reading your review we immediately got in touch with our crew to replace the outside light bulb, check the iron, and check in on the smell. Also, based on your odor concern we checked in with the current guest who agreed the place was well cleaned but also confirmed a slight bathroom odor and who said he believes it is not urine. He believes it may be a chemical/pine smell from the treated wood or the engineered floor. As soon as there is a day with no guests at the unit we will personally investigate and take any needed remedial actions. Thank you again for bringing it to our attention!"

Took my Mom for a 80th Bday trip. Just the two of us. We enjoyed the relaxing time. Very peaceful and comfortable. Nicely appointed Kitchen. Lovely stay. The location is close to the Village at Northstar. I would be happy to stay here again.

Lovely updated and clean cabin

The cabin is lovely and very clean. Everything is updated and very nice. The view of the beautiful trees from the kitchen and family room is gorgeous. The linens were soft and comfortable, and the beds are firm. Also, there is a nice big screen tv that we enjoyed in the evenings after a day on the slopes. The one thing I wasn’t able to find were the games. I found a deck of Uno cards, but that was it. However, we were happy to just watch a movie instead. I would definitely come back to this lovely cabin.

Excellent property and fantastic management

The property management and owners could not have been more accommodating. We arrived as one of the largest snow storms in decades was starting and the property manager let us arrive early. Due to the storm all highways were closed and we could not return home as scheduled. The owners graciously let us stay in the condo until the roads opened. The condo was fantastic and we highly recommend this rental unit.

Lovely condo close to everything!

What a lovely property! Clean, everything we could need, store right down the road and close to Northstar village which was so easy to get to with the shuttle! The bed was a little hard for our taste but overall amazing place for a winter family getaway!

Good location

The location was great for us, and the home was newly remodeled. The property manager was quick to fix a couple of issues for us. The only downside was that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything in the rooms or upstairs. There’s also no AC and with the smoke that was surrounding the area, it was hard to get any ventilation.

Perfect July 4th weekend!

We found this amazing location as a last minute rental. We were so lucky! The property was clean with comfortable and up-to-date decor. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the loft. It’s proximity to Northstar was great to enjoy the village, mountain biking, and hiking. We loved that it backed up to an unobstructed view of the beautiful forest. The trail though that forest allowed us to take a sunset walk each night. A short distance to Tahoe and Truckee meant we could easily explore these areas as well. We really couldn’t have hoped for more for our family weekend escape. Thanks so much!
