During the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, my ancestors were inn keepers and lodging house keepers providing accommodation for travellers in Cornwall and Devon, England.
From the 1970s, '80s and '90s I have treasured memories as a guesthouse host, providing "olde world" accommodation and scrumptious meals for guests visiting the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia.
Now my accommodation hosting traditions continue with three high-rise and penthouse apartments in Darwin City, Northern Territory. The apartments “Newquay”, “Penzance” and “Padstow” are named after iconic towns in Cornwall loved by holidaymakers.
While the types of accommodation and hosting interactions have evolved significantly over the centuries, dedicated service to guests remains paramount. With technological advances by reservation agencies and telecommunications there is no longer a need to meet and greet guests. However behind the scenes I have a great team of competent and caring people to maintain high service standards.
My greatest pleasure is to offer guests a sensational accommodation experience and good value while staying in a top location. All guests have complete privacy during their stay in clean, comfortable and functional apartments with fully equipped kitchens, separate bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, secure parking and spectacular city and harbour views.
