We enjoyed staying at this apartment

Unfortunately we were in lockdown for three days of our stay. However it was an excellent place to be confined in. It has a view over mostly trees towards the sea and a spacious balcony, so that we didn’t feel hemmed in. For our allowed hour daily walk we went to the lovely nearby Botanical Gardens. Another day we walked to the beach and along the sand. The museum and popular Ski Club are also within walking distance as is a bus with a very useful route. The apartment is very clean and well maintained, with everything you need. The owner is very responsive.

The property is in a very stylish distinctive block which is the only high rise block in the area, it also have some very large flying bird murals down the sides and a big red light on the top to is is always quite easy to find! There are a number of eating options around the base of the block, a hairdresser and some other business, there is a mini mart about 10 minutes walk away. There is a quiet pool area (which is on the same floor as the property which is handy!) although in late May the temperature is best described as ‘Refreshing!’ Off street parking is available in the underground car park. You can walk into the centre but it will take you a good 30 minutes. The host is a joy to deal with and could not be more helpful.

This is a lovely property, everything was top standard and the host was fabulous. Clean, neat and had everything you need. The view from our balcony and the swimming pool was just awesome. Would definitely recommend this property. The only down side for us, very minor, was you couldn't walk to a good grocery store.

Fantastically equipped apartment made for a very comfortable stay. Wonderful service and greeting from Nomiki sets the scene. Location really requires a car if wanting to get around or do much shopping and with limited dining out options near by. However, this is a really wonderful property for any stay. Wow, this property was fantastic. We flew to Darwin for a road trip with friends, but my husband had a medical emergency, so we had to stay in Darwin while they headed bush. This place is terrific. The apartment, the host, the pool, gym, BBQ, recreational facilities, the homely touches in the apartment all made our unfortunate stay in Darwin a very enjoyable experience. If you do not need to be in the CBD, and have your own vehicle or are happy to Taxi around i thoroughly recommend Nomiki's on The Avenue.

Perfect in every way

What a great place to stay. Better than the pictures. We had no problem getting to various locations from the property. Mindil beach an easy walk away and it was great to take a walk to and from the markets, probably should have had less to eat. Everything we needed was at the property and we really did enjoy our stay there. Safe location and no noise at all, a good getaway from the busy CBD and local dining made it a breeze for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Easy to get to and from the car safely parked in the basement. Nomiki also made us feel very welcome and we certainly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great place to stay, thank you Nomiki.

Amazing place to stay

We had a lovely holiday, thank you.It was perfect Nomiki was a pleasure to deal with,made us feel totally at home ,going that extra 10%. Even drove my husband to the bottle store We would recommend this property to others. We stayed for 2weeks ,it was perfect timing,didn't want to leave. 32deg when we left ,2deg when we got home .

What a fantastic place to spend a week relaxing and enjoying Darwin! Beautiful accommodation, comfortable with great facilities. We walked into Darwin cbd, parap markets, mindil beach and heaps more. Excellent property in great location

I stayed here for 5.5 weeks whilst working in Darwin. The property was excellent and the little personal touches Nomiki provides makes the stay more welcoming. The Perfect Retreat

My husband and I travel to Darwin every year for work so we have stayed in several different places over the years. Nomiki's is the best by far. Perfect location, great parking, comfy bed, quiet, lots of facilities (even though we didn't use them). Nomiki knows what you need when you travel - the kitchen was stocked with those little things that are annoying to buy all the time - cooking oil, glad wrap, laundry detergent. We will be back next year!
