Sonder for a sound weekend

Check-in was a bit of a challenge as you’re instructed to go to the second floor, yet the unit number of the apartment begins with 1. Turns out Sondee flats are one-half flight down from 2. The apartment is modern, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. A couple of minor complaints - there is an area rug in the bedroom (on top of carpet) that is a trip hazard. The bathroom needs more towel bars and/or hooks. None at f the windows open, so no fresh air, only HVAC. Lastly, not regarding the apartment per se, but be aware that the entire neighborhood (Uptown) is under construction. Roads are torn up (no idea for how long). It’s an up & coming neighborhood.

Weekend Getaway

We were really happy with this property. It was very nice and clean. The only issue we had was that we paid $35 for a parking pass from Friday- Sunday and once we left Saturday morning to go out and about; it would not take our pass when we came back. We didn’t know you could not leave at all. Do, we had to pay additional parking fees. This needs to be mentioned in the app.

Nice property, convenient location. Target store below closed so that was a bummer, but close to other stuff. Could not access rooftop and logistics to find rooms was confusing.

Okay for a short stay

The directions and check in process were great. Easy to find the place. The description needs to be updated on the site as there is not a Target and Starbucks on the first floor. It looks like at one time it was there but the windows look like they have been boarded up for some time. The location is quite noisy - not from traffic but from rooftop parties. Seemed to be loud until well into the morning. For those that like the nightlife it would be a perfect spot.
