Bellarine getaway close to the beach, deck, BBQ, WiFi. Pet friendly

This large studio-style space was purpose-built with the comfort and convenience of our guests in mind. Super comfy Queen-sized bed with electric blanket, 2-seater couch, dining table, kitchenette, luxurious ensuite with generous soaking tub, private deck with BBQ, smart TV (55”), free high-speed internet and Netflix. Air-conditioned with ceiling fan. We’re also pet friendly with fully enclosed pet courtyard including doggie sandpit.

Ideal for a weekend getaway or flexcation, we’re close to the beach (10 minutes walk) and local shops (7 minutes walk) and an ideal location to enjoy all that the Bellarine Peninsula offers.

What to do during your stay:

Snuggle up on the couch, read a book, play a board game or enjoy Netflix on the 55” flat-screen TV.

Explore local markets, parklands, bike trails, beaches and art galleries or play a round of golf at one of several nearby golf courses.

The Bellarine Peninsula is also a foodie and wine heaven. Enjoy local produce from makers and growers at almost 50 food and wine destinations throughout the peninsula.

Take a short stroll along the creek takes you to the beach (10 minutes). Watch out for native bird life: magpies, ravens, ibis, ducks, Rainbow lorikeet, black cockatoos, corellas.
A short drive takes you to the beautiful beaches of Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and 13th Beach.

After a full day exploring, relax in the huge soaking tub or enjoy a cuppa or a glass of wine on your private deck.

The kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery and basic cooking utensils, as well as a variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate.

The accommodation has dead bolts on each door for your security. We don’t use the front entrance when we have guests - that is your private entrance. You also have a private entrance via the guest deck.

Beautiful place to stay at, very cosy for me & my toy poodle. Walking distance to Griggs Creek 10mins + the Bay. Nice 3 day stay, the winter weather was perfect while staying walked every day on the beach.

Luxurious and quiet getaway

The studio was much bigger and more luxurious than the photos suggest, the bathroom was out simply, amazing with a huge soaking tub. It was a very quiet neighbourhood so the stay was incredibly relaxing. A short walk down to the bay for some beach access and less than 20 minutes drive to the surf beaches like ocean grove.

Excellent property

Very well presented, spotlessly clean with all amenities as described in the posting. Clearly pet friendly so don’t miss the chance to give your fur baby a break. We chose the place being close to Geelong so we could attend a Golden Retriever gathering at Geelong Showgrounds and it was a great way to spend a weekend.

Pawfect Pet Friendly Place

This is the best pet friendly place we have ever stayed at. It is a very comfortable , modern studio and very well equipped with everything we and our greyhounds need. The dishwasher is super handy and the dogs love the sand pit too. It’s also very centrally located to all the attractions in the Bellarine peninsula. Just put you feet up and relax

Total luxury from the cozyness of the bed and bedding [and that was just for the dog] the accomodation was premium. The stay was really enjoyed by all, from kicking back on the private veranda soaking up the morning sun enjoying a coffee to walks along the local peer. The host was warm and welcoming.

A perfect luxury pet friendly place

We had a great time at Bill and Maree place. It is a very tidy and lovely stylish property equipped with everything you need. A comfortable bed and nice bathroom. In a great location to explore the Bellarine Peninsula. And it’s very thoughtful pet friendly accommodation, host provided safety outdoor area, sand pit, bowls and a bed. My toy poodle enjoyed it so much. I would definitely introduce to my friends and come again!

Great private apartment

A lovely private apartment well equiped with all our needs. Used the kitchen but has no stove or oven but a bbq which worked well. Lovely bathroom and and very comfortable bed. Also one of the few places we have stayed which had alternative bedding to a heavy quilt! Thankyou

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful time here. Place is extremely clean! Our friendly hosts, Bill & Maree, thought of every little detail, including towels & bowls for our dogs! We appreciate this even though we brought along ours. We really love relaxing in the lovely bath tub and enjoyed the rain shower ... And it's short drive to the beach. Everything is perfect. If we need to be picky, then perhaps an induction cooker would be nice! Overall, this is a place we would highly recommend to our friends. And oh yes, Bill, we adore your plants & landscaping in the front of your house! Amazing...

Curlewis Pet Friendly Accommodation

To try and find good quality pet friendly accommodation is extremely difficult, however my wife and I struck gold when we found this property in Curlewis near Geelong . It ticked all the boxes that we were after, clean,modern,spacious , extremely comfortable for us and our dog, and an absolutely beautiful bathroom . It’s in an excellent location close to walking trails, shops etc. And only a short drive to the local towns and cities. Very friendly hosts , nothing was too much trouble, very accommodating. Peaceful and relaxing

Spotless and comfortable with all amenities required for our stay. We especially enjoyed bbqing and relaxing on the private outdoor deck. Our dog enjoyed the provided dog bed so much that we think we will go get him one. Thank you Maree and Bill.

Bill and I are semi-retired and moved from Melbourne more than two years ago. We’ve travelled around the world and as we settle into retirement we chose to build in the Bellarine as we’ve always enjoyed our trips to this area and love the relaxed lifestyle. The Bellarine has a wonderful mix of coastal and country-style living. We enjoy walking our dogs every day along the creek to the local beach or taking a trip to one of several ocean beaches nearby. We also love the fact that there are more than half a dozen unique “villages” within a short drive and the area is dotted with great wineries, places to eat and fun places to visit.
