Sehr hübsches kleines, reizendes 45 m² Appartement im Herzen des Quartier Latin für 4 Personen (1 Doppelbett + 1 Schlafcouch für 2 Personen), auf der 2. Etage eines Gebäudes aus dem 17. Jahrhundert in einer ruhigen und sonnigen Straße im historischen, künstlerischen und literarischen Stadtviertel von Paris. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß von Notre Dame und Saint Germain des Près entfernt, in der Nähe der U-Bahnstation Saint Michel und zahlreicher Buslinien, idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der schönsten kulturellen und touristischen Plätze der Hauptstadt. Unzählige Cafés, Restaurants, Kinos, Kunstgalerien und Geschäfte befinden sich nahe bei.
Dank dem sympathischen und kultivierten Ehepaar Finkine,war der Aufenthalt in Ihrer entzückenden Wohnung grossartig.
Ich empfehle dieses Apartement all jenen die Ruhe,Kultur und Paris lieben.
This apartment is perfect. The location is terrific, around the corner from St Michel Metro and RER, 2 blocs to Odeon Metro stop. Lovely apartment with great shower and working kitchen. Quiet with lots of windows for fresh air. And the owners are lovely; invited us for drinks and we talked politics. We will be back.
Marc and Mina offer a terrific apartment with all the amenities one needs. The location is perfect whether dining in on sumptuous items from the local markets or dining out. Also very close to all the subway access you'll need to jet around Paris.
I have just returned from my trip to Europe and the highlight was certainly my one week stay in Marc and Mina's apartment. Their apartment is directly below the rental and they are always available for help with questions and recommendations. You could not ask for two more pleasant people! The apartment is well located in the St. Germain/Latin Quarter area of Paris, which to me, is the best. Fine upscale shopping along St. Germain Boulevard and numerous boutique shops along every street between the Boulevard and the Seine River. All price points of restaurants are within very easy walking distance and I never had a bad meal. Within 5 minutes of a very large Carrefour Grocery which is fully stocked with everything you could need.
The apartment is roomy and light, and fully furnished with kitchen items, wifi, TV, and a nice clean bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. I plan to return next year with a 30 day rental as I feel this apartment and location (along with Marc and Mina) are the perfect setting in Paris. The area the apartment is located in is safe and also quiet and 1 minute away from Metro St. Michel which provides easy access to all of Paris with connections. You can easily walk to The Louvre, Cathedral of Notre Dame and Musee d' Orsay. The Metro easily takes you to all other places. All in all, a home run! Thanks Marc and Mina for making my stay so enjoyable!
If you've read any of the other reviews, you'll note how guests rave about hosts Marc and Mina. They are gracious, tremendously helpful, and most entertaining (Marc's piano as well as their sense of humor). My wife and I enjoyed the relative peace and quiet of the off-season for a week, and would HIGHLY recommend both the apartment and hosts to friends and family as long as steps in a historic building are acceptable. The listing is accurate, and perhaps a bit understated in some respects. The apartment is efficiently laid out to provide a bright, open living/dining area with large windows. It is warm and cozy and secure, but with good natural cross ventilation as well has a small version of everything you might want, including ironing board, cloths washer, etc. It is comfortable, clean, and VERY well cared for. Location is key, being a block from St Michel Square. Marc and Mina know all the local shops and attractions, and are a willing resource should you have any questions. Being just a few blocks from tourist destinations was great, but being so close to Paris's fabulous transit system was equally superb. Walk or ride, it's your choice. There is a small grocery as well a local fruit market close by, along with a variety of local pubs, cafes and patisseries. We're looking forward to returning to Paris, and will certainly stay here again!
For a long time it has been a dream of mine to spend a month in the most beautiful city in the world, Paris! What made it all the more special was this amazing apartment and the kindness of Marc and Mina who made me feel totally welcome. The apartment has all the charm of a true French flat while at the same time including every amenity needed to make one's stay extremely comfortable. The location is superb. Imagine every morning being able to walk past the beautiful St. Michel water fountain and then to see Notre Dame in the distance. A metro station is at the end of the street to take you anywhere in Paris but so many museums are within walking distance. As well, the metro station near the water fountain connects you with the train to the airport. Finally, when you feel there can't be anything to make it even more perfect you are welcomed by the kindest of hosts Marc and Mina. They were on hand to help with any questions I had and were such a pleasure to get to know. I truly feel I have made new friends. I am already counting the days until I can return to Paris and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
