Beautiful Siesta

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach is beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. This unit I rented for my daughter. It had a beautiful view but it needs to be updated and they did have a few bugs. I'm sure if we would have told the maintenance they would have fumigated but because there was a baby in the room we didn't want fumigation.

Why I probably won’t be coming back after many years

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and views are amazing. Maintenance crew is top notch. Communication is awful/non-existent. New rules for rebooking are inflexible (can’t change unit once you are booked) which is drastically different from previous years. Parking lots flooded due to heavy rain and many cars were flooded - no comment or offer of help from mgmt. Had to get car detailed to remove 10 gallons of water. Units vary in quality and comfort and older units are dated and not everything works (specifically lighting in multiple rooms, front door wouldn’t latch). Furniture worn and stained. Rates going up significantly for next year. Been coming here for over 10 years. Booking elsewhere for 2025.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My favorite thing about this condo is the location. You open your patio door and step foot right onto the beach which was AMAZING. The condo definitely needs some updating and it had a really strong musty smell. It was fairly clean, however, there where a few things that needed some improvement. I found a wad of hair underneath one of the beds, the soap holder in the bathroom was full of what looked like hair from a beard, and we had to buy Clorox wipes to clean the inside of the freezer before using it. Overall, we had a great time. I love the location, but will be staying in a different condo next time!

Location, location, location!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this Unit is good. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled, and do look great. But if the owner is going to the expense of making those rooms look nice, they overlooked very simple things. The refrigerator was rusted and gross on the outside. I get the weather and humidity has a lot to do with that, but slap a coat of paint on it! They could stand to upgrade the outlets, broken lamps, locks, blinds, etc. A lot of things looked like they are original from the build of the Unit. The strings on the patio blinds were so gross I wouldn’t touch them. It’s the little details like that for me. Having said that, overall this a good Unit and the location is everything! Ground floor and literal steps from sand. The location and view of the ocean is worth overlooking the little things. Just looking to give some constructive feedback.

The view of the palm trees, beach and gulf were spectacular straight from our lanai and the location of Island House was perfect. Great time in Siesta Beach

This condo is steps from the beach and looks out onto the beach. The beach is very wide in this area and not as crowded as other parts of the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that we needed and updated. The condo definitely needs new beds. We found the beds to be very uncomfortable and very old. The bathrooms are nice and updated but the furniture in living room can use some updating as well. The condo was clean. The condo is a few minute drive to Siesta Village with lots of restaurants and shops. Our overall stay was good as we love the beach.

It holds a lot of sentimental value for us because this is the room we stayed in when we got married and come back every year for the last 5 years. The bed however is extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t get one night of good sleep. My parents thought the twins were also uncomfortable. The king bed almost feels like it could break or is broken already. Overall, the decor and couches are pretty outdated. However, we aren’t here for the decor so that’s minor! The view is amazing and being first level is awesome to just walk out onto the beach. Even though the bed is uncomfortable, I would still recommend staying here!
