Great family property

We loved 9S, it was very clean and had everything we needed. We brought our two young children for a long weekend. I would definitely come back, the property was very family friendly. I am happy that we picked the ground floor, it was so easy with the kids getting in and out.

Reviewer Comments: We just got back from the Island House 9S 2 days ago, we had an amazing time and the view of the ocean and palm trees is incredible (especially at sunset!) We love the lanai, ground level beach access, and the private beach (with beach lounge chairs included!) for all Island House guests. We were there during Spring Break and St Patricks Day; however, you wouldn’t know it with the privacy and space on the private beach. Parking was covered and another parking space was provided for guests. All of the decor was nicely appointed. The staff at Island House are so easy to work with and very nice people. 9S was very clean. We already booked for next year during the same week.

We had the perfect spring break getaway at this Siesta Key rental! The location was ideal—close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer, but far enough away from the crowds to truly relax and unwind.The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which made it easy to cook meals and feel right at home.Having security on site added an extra level of comfort, and we always felt safe during our stay.Overall, this was exactly the kind of relaxing, stress-free vacation we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hurricane Debby ruined our beach time for the 3 days we were there. That is not the resort’s fault, but the resort should have evacuated the guests and offered refunds for the impacted days.Most importantly, the windows in our unit (9 south) did NOT have hurricane-impact windows and were shaking uncontrollably during the peak of the storm on Sunday night. My wife and daughter were terrified. Guests in other units I spoke with did not experience the windows shaking like we did.Also, the area near the car port was flooded even BEFORE the storm.Finally, on Monday night I accidentally locked myself out of the unit, and there was no employee on site to help me open it. I had to call a locksmith, who charged me $140 to open our door.

Cigars and cigarette butts all around outside tables every morning. Open smoking at common area tables every day.

Kitchen was well equipped except they could use a few non stick frying pans. One issue we did have was trying to get a hold of the management after we checked out to try and retrieve a very expensive item that we had left behind. Could not get anyone to return a call or text after4 or 5 attempts. Never got the item returned (which we offered to pay for) very disappointing end to a nice vacation.

The design of the condo buildings gives every condo unit a great view of the Gulf. Crescent Beach is as beautiful as it gets. We've stayed in several units over the years; this year was 9S and it delivered - very bright and clean. Nothing beats morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the lanai.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the apt and the location. We have stayed in this apt for 5 going on 6 years next year (already booked). There are some issues we would like to stress. The sliding glass door is terrible, doesn't lock and is always getting stuck. In the master bathroom the cabinet has a hole in it and we had issues with roaches and it would be great to have a shower instead of a tub. All the appliances had some kind of issue or didn't work. It's probably time for new vacuum. Lastly, the cleaning at arrival was not good at all. Please don't take this as if we weren't happy, we were but these are items that if upgraded would make the apt that much better.

Siesta Key Getaway

We had an amazing time and would definitely come back! We especially loved that the unit was steps from the beach. The size and style of the unit was perfect for our family of four. The unit was generally clean and well kept but we did have a few bugs inside and there was also an odor in the kitchen sink we couldn’t get rid of, but very minor issues considering how much fun we had and how much time we spent outside.
