Welcome to 'Woodsong' Chalet- your families home away from home! This fully stocked year-round chalet is nestled in the woods, lakeside and slope-side, within the peaceful and exciting community of Hidden Valley.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing escape, an adventure-filled getaway, or some new scenery to work remotely (we have unlimited reliable high speed internet), Woodsong has it all!

Some quick highlights include:

- Our property is a combination of a flat grassy open backyard with la arge open fire pit surrounded by a well-wooded/naturalized perimeter providing an escape into nature while still being connected to the Hidden Valley community.
- Just a 4 minute walk from our front door brings you to a sandy private beach on Peninsula Lake with a volleyball court, kids play structure and manicured lawn for days at the beach in the summer, or skating in the winter.
- 100 steps from the front door provides easy 'ski-in/ski-out' access to all the slopes at Hidden Valley Resort (yes, it is literally steps from the chalet!)
- Looking for hiking, biking, or snowmobile trails? They are all located nearby.
- 1.8 kms to the golf course at Deerhurst Resort along with a handful of other courses nearby.
- 8 minutes to all the shops and amenities located in downtown Huntsville including your choice of 3 major grocery stores, the Algonquin Theater, Canada Summit Centre, and fantastic pubs and restaurants; also check out The Birches at Hidden Valley (a 3 minute walk away) and Deerhurst (a 15 minute walk) and more!
- Last but certainly not least, Woodsong is centrally positioned to local 'gems' such as Arrowhead Provincial Park (8 kms), Algonquin Provincial Park (30 minutes) , and Limberlost Forest (10 kms). Spend the day playing and exploring in these iconic parks then come back to relax and reflect.

Woodsong is a family-friendly chalet which boasts 3 very spacious upstairs bedrooms, all with relaxing views of the surrounding forest. The kids bedroom is quite large and has a large single-over-double bunk bed (with a hidden twin trundle bed below the bunk) as well as a additional (4th) twin bed. However, the upper balcony off the king master bedroom is sure to become a favourite spot for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine while looking for deer which frequently roam the property! There is also a 3rd full size bedroom featuring a queen sized bed.

The main level features a fully-equipped kitchen, powder room, mudroom, and a very comfortable living space complete with a working fireplace- the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day! Gather for meals around the table in the dining area or enjoy your meals among the trees in the great outdoors in the 3-season screened Muskoka room or on the elevated large back deck while taking-in nature including the fall colours.
The backyard fire pit is another favourite gathering place where many family memories are made all year round.

The fully carpeted basement has a media nook for movie-watching, gaming, as well as a 'kids space' complete with toys and books for younger family members. For those unable to leave work behind, a desk/work station is also located in the basement in close proximity to the internet source.

Travelling with little ones? We know there is no such thing as 'packing light' with them in tow. To help make things easier, Woodsong comes equipped with a highchair, booster seat, folding stroller, and pack 'n play, so you can lighten your load and leave some of your baby items at home!
