2 bed (sleeps 4: 1 double, 1 king), 1.5 bath, wood fireplace & spectacular views of Peninsula Lake & mountains. Many scenic trails and parks nearby (Arrowhead, Algonquin, & Limberlost Forest). Two balconies to relax on. Enjoy the beach, tennis & basketball courts, and outdoor pool: all next door at resort, including a bar/restaurant. Hidden Valley across the road has a variety of ski hills and we also have a hill for sledding out front! The area also has numerous places to visit, including shops, breweries, & restaurants in Huntsville. (No water equipment provided with the chalet)

We had a great stay in the Cozy Condo at Hidden Valley! The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the kids enjoyed the use of the Hotel pool. It is super-close (walkable in ski boots) to Hidden Valley ski hill which was perfect for our race weekend. We missed our checkout time due to issues at the racehill and our host was very helpful and accomodating! Thanks Vince, we hope to be back next year!

Perfect stay!

This property is wonderful - cozy, clean, beautiful, and with a stunning view......quiet, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need....beds are super comfortable and everything is updated and new. A perfect stay for two ski racers before a big race day:)

Anniversary get away

We were very impressed of the chalet. It was cozy, clean and had all essentials ie beach towels, kitchen ware. We enjoyed both balconies overlooking the lake and the privacy. We look forward to staying there again.

Greatly enjoyed our stay!

The property was very comfortable for our family of 4. The host is the best host I’ve ever encountered - great attention to detail, very quick and accommodating, very nice and caring about making your stay enjoyable. Great fun and R&R!

Great well appointed chalet with fantastic lake views. Very private and quiet, yet with a beach and pool a few minutes walk. Short drive into town to pick up groceries, etc. Communication with the host Vince was a pleasure. Definitely will be returning!

Chalet holiday

Very cozy and pleasant chalet with quiet neighborhood. Our stay was relaxing and exactly what we were aiming for - a nice soothing holiday for the whole family. Only pity was though the lake in view was fantastic, all the surroundings belong to private owners so while we got to have great view we didn’t get to walk around it.

For clarification purposes and to add credibility to most of our 5 star reviews, the reason for this 4 star review is not fully warranted. Our chalet is one of 60 privately owned resort homes on the property that has lakefront shared access. All owners and their guests can enjoy the hundreds of meters of lakeside and private beach area. There is a path along the lake and a beach with sand, buoyed swimming area, docks (with a ladder), and both loungers and Muskoka chairs. All of this is included with any booking for all our guests. Hopefully this adds insight and confirms why the vast majority of reviews give us 5 stars. The lake view can be enjoyed from both our private balconies and up close by the water. Respectfully, Vince

Great Getaway

Visit was between seasons so can't comment on water or snow sports in the area, but, the chalet itself was absolutely stellar. A great place to hang out and relax for a much needed break. Host was pleasant, responsive and super helpful with information about the surrounding area.

A couple of days in Muskoka well spent!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and it was perfection. The lake view is stunning and so close to Algonquin hiking trails. The bed was very comfortable and everything you need is already here. The two decks give great options for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.

A “must return” kind of place

This place exceeded our expectations which were already high based off all of the great reviews.The host maintains great communication and is very responsive.The place itself is stunning and super functional. It was a perfect place to escape from the dance competition we were attending. We would love to return in the winter for a ski trip.

I grew up in Willowdale/North York. I went to post-secondary in Peterborough and Kingston before returning to Toronto. My wife Nancy and I then moved north of the city where our three children have grown up and started their careers. We have always been active and enjoyed the outdoors, including a variety of sports and activities.

Main Street is 10 minutes away with unique Muskoka shops and places to eat by the water. Great pubs and great food! Algonquin Park and Arrowhead are close by , as well as Limberlost Forest and Lions Lookout to walk and take in spectacular sights. With your stay you have our access pass to the hotel pool, hot tub, and sauna -- all next door two minutes away.
