No gas motors are allowed. Definitely "kid-friendly."

The lake house was excellent! Beautiful views of the lake, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and sleeping areas. Michael was great about getting us more kayaks, more wood for the fire pit and taking care of anything we needed. The dock was great to hangout by the water and swim from. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was an easy drive to Saratoga for the horse races and shopping. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway. We plan on returning:)

We all really enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved sitting in the sunroom with great views of the lake, very large kitchen area, plenty of lounge chairs on the deck. They had all the gear for kayaking and beach towels. Love this location and Galway Lake is just so pristine!. Michael greeted us and couldn't have been nicer in terms of letting him know if we had any questions or needed anything.

My family had a great stay. Michael was a great host. He was very friendly and communicated quickly and effectively with us as needs arose. During our stay we mostly kayaked, played games and relaxed. The lake is beautiful and the water was warm. We had perfect weather. There are many levels to this house and I really liked the two lower levels outside. Both were perfect for morning coffee and afternoon lake viewing or watching family play in the water or on the lawn. We brought corn hole which got a lot of use. My elderly parents came with us and having a bedroom on the first level was important in my search for a property to rent. This house had that. The house is situated on a hill so we took extra care in walking my mother from the car. Everything worked out great! Thanks for the stay Michael!

Just returned from a relaxing weekend at this beautiful lakehouse! Our family had a lovely time and we absolutely enjoyed this peaceful lake. We even got to see a bald eagle! Our host was friendly, courteous and made us feel right at home! Highly recommended!

Water Lovers Dream

It is a great property with beautiful views of the lake. Lots of kayaks are available for guests to use, with easy access to the water from the shore or dock. I'll definitely stay again during my next visit to Galway Lake!

We had a great time.

The new dock with the recline chairs were perfect for watching amazing sunrises. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need. Would definitely come back!!

Wonderful, relaxing vacation!

The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed kayaking and building fires, but spent most of the time on the deck and in the "sun room” – the waterfront location and view were beautiful. Overall the stay felt like visiting a friend’s house, rather than renting one.

Beautiful Lake / Relaxing Vacation

The property is exactly as described, but Galway lake is even more beautiful than the pictures. The house is extremely well-equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Views from the sitting room and deck are fantastic. The lake is picturesque, quiet and (at least for us) not at all crowded. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the property.

Gorgeous views

Gorgeous and serene location. Loved waking up to the lake, drinking coffee looking at the lake, sitting on the dock with a glass of wine in the evening, and kayaking. It was also close enough to Saratoga Springs that we were able to pop over for dinner and for the races. The kitchen is well appointed and having the washer/dryer was an added bonus. Lots of room in this house. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Amazing Family Vacation

Location with beautiful views and comforts of home. Michael met us at the house for check in and explained everything we need to know as well as checking on us a few time during our stay. We had one issue and Michael was very quick to respond and resolved the issue. Upstairs bedrooms are very spacious. Great dock for fishing. If you like to kayak, you will love this location! We stayed on the property for 4 nights. Wish the weather would have cooperated more but not the properties problem. We cooked breakfast every morning. Everything you needs to make breakfast was available. Will definitely stay at the property in the future.

Fourth of July on the Lake

The house was wonderful. Large enough to host a group of 7 friends comfortably. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The lake is beautiful - we sat on the dock surrounded by fish and a family of ducks and watched a bald eagle circling the lake from the kayaks. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling as a group or a family.

Exactly as Advertised

The Lake House is exactly as shown in the pictures. The interior spaces are all extremely comfortable. We spent most of our mornings in the sunroom, which is wonderful. After dinner drinks on the deck overlooking the lake were perfect. I definitely recommend this property and Michael and his property manager Veronica. Both are top flight.

Living the Lake Life!

What a wonderful getaway. Michael's home is warm, cozy and each room has a wonderful view of Galway Lake. We loved early morning kayaking and just floating in the lake. Hanging on the porches, bbqing and just relaxing! The kitchen is filled with everything you need to cook a great meal and you are close to a lot of great restaurants if you have a hankering to leave the property! Michael is easily reachable and made the stay perfect! Look forward to a longer stay next summer!

Great fishing!

Nice and quiet, beautiful view of the lake, loved the sunroom and deck to sit and look out over the lake. Nice dock with chairs for fishing. Used kayaks almost everyday. Caught lots of fish from dock and from kayaks out on the lake. House was well equipped. Michael was very responsive when we had questions. We would go back.
