great view-close enough to walk to town-we mostly drove-lots of restaurants within a 5-10 mile radius-quiet-peaceful-good communication with the property manager-would recommend!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

The Cretan Sunset was a fantastic property, that my wife and I could not have enjoyed more. It is located in a quiet, beautiful area but still close enough to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Still very easy drives to both Chania and Rethymno, perfect location. The property manager was extremely friendly and gave us some great recommendations for stuff to do and places to eat in the area. I most definitely would recommend to anyone. 5 stars without a doubt.

A quiet, modern villa

A quiet villa with views to the mountains, village and coast. Close enough to walk in to the village for restaurants, supermarkets etc if you want which we mostly did. Pool is more for cooling off in than swimming as not huge. Covered sun lounger area was great as provided a shady spot to be outside. We had a very relaxed week here.

Not as expected

The check-in process was very easy, and the property manager was responsive and very helpful. That said, the apartment was not well cleaned when we arrived, with stains on the floor of one bedroom, small spiders on the pillow of a separate bedroom, and a strong mildew smell in the dishwasher. The apartment is also next to a farm with roosters that crow every morning around 4:00 AM, making it difficult to sleep. The location is convenient to Chania and other sites on Crete, but the visit was not as relaxing as the online listing indicated.

Super schönes Haus…in ruhiger Umgebung..extrem sauber… wie haben NICHTS vermisst. Was ich sagen muss….wir haben noch NIE eine Ferienwohnung erlebt die soooo gepflegt war..Danke Mrs. Kikki… Und was den Urlaub toll gemacht hat war Maria…was für ein Engel…Tipps..Ratschläge…einfach unschlagbar..Danke Maria!!!!

Très bel endroit

Il nous a fallut plusieurs jours pour apprivoiser cette villa. Nous étions trois, puis cinq, puis six. Lorsque tout le monde a été là, nous avons constaté comme d'autres visiteurs qu'il manquait quelques couverts, tasses et verres : pas de problème, nous avons fait tourner le lave-vaisselle tous les jours. Les moustiquaires sur chaque ouverture étaient un plus que nous avons apprécié... nous avons dormi fenêtres ouvertes, nous n'aimons pas la clim... c'est devenu un peu plus compliqué quand le sixième invité est arrivé, lui ne pouvait pas dormir sans clim... nous nous sommes donc tous adaptés... Nous aurions juste aimé savoir avant de réserver qu'il n'était pas possible de jeter le papier dans les toilettes... mais nous nous y sommes vite habitués... Oui cette villa est très agréable à vivre... trois chambres, deux salles de douche (et non pas trois comme mentionné sur Abritel), un vaste espace extérieur où on peut se mettre au soleil ou à l'ombre selon les envies de chacun. La vue sur la mer est magnifique... nous avons passé des heures à la contempler tôt le matin avant que toute la maisonnée soit réveillée... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons profité des bons conseils de Maria... Merci encore à elle...
