Backyard Paradise on Beautiful MV!
This property is incredible! Every summer my family rents a house on the Vineyard and we have a traditional routine of going to all our favorite restaurants and destinations all around the island. This year was different, we did none of that and it was the best year ever! There’s so much to do on this playground of a property that nobody wanted to leave it. The backyard is enormous and in addition to the bocce ball court, we found every lawn game you could think of in the pool house. We organized a tournament playing games outside all day and at night we moved inside to play billiards, air hockey and ping pong.
Every structure on the compound from the gym to the guest house is wired with Sonos sound systems that you can control with your phone. The outdoor kitchen/bar was my favorite. We made frozen margaritas all afternoon and the kids had a blast at Make Your Own Pizza Night as there’s a legit pizza oven attached to the outdoor grill.
The property abuts a bird sanctuary and I highly recommend getting up early at least once to walk the nature trails and watch the sun come up over Katama Bay and Chappy(don’t worry, they have an espresso machine if you’re not a morning person). My only complaint, if you wanna call it that, is VRBO won’t allow bookings 1+ years out otherwise we would have already booked our Summer 2022 vacation. Thanks again for such an amazing experience!!!
