Fabelhafte Lage! Günstig in der Gegend von Island Grove in Edgartown gelegen, hinter der Morning Glory Farm. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche wurde gerade erst renoviert und hat alles, was Sie brauchen, um alle Vorteile der fabelhafte lokale Produkte und Fisch zu nehmen. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Es gibt eine Dame, zwei extra langen Einzelbetten (das kann auch in ein Kingsize-Bett gemacht werden) und zwei Einzelbetten mit trudelt

Sie sind nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß bis ein alter Indianerpfad zu Morning Glory Farm für Insel-frischen Produkten und große hausgemachte Torten. Sie sind Radfahren Entfernung zur Innenstadt von Edgartown, South Beach, State Beach und Edgartown Großen Teich zum Kajakfahren, Kanufahren, clamming usw. Insel Grove liegt an der W. befindet Tisbury Straße so, wenn Sie fahren müssen, können Sie das Vineyard Haven Straße / Dreieck-Verkehr zu vermeiden.

Lovely Off-season Stay

Wonderful off-season island time! Fabulous morning pastries and bread from Grey Barn and Rosewater. Brisk walks on deserted beaches, a totally different experience to the hustle and bustle of peak summer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was very comfortable and perfect for our family vacation. Perfect Vineyard getaway

A great family vacation

This is a great MV property and location. It is clean, spacious, quiet and conveniently located. The kitchen is very well equipped. The backyard is newly sodded and quite large. The newly finished basement is a great play area for children. And Morning Glory Farm is less than a 10 minute walk away. This was the 2nd summer we rented for a week.

This house was perfect for our family of six. It had everything we needed for preparing meals and the decor was lovely. We loved the ping pong table and extra space in the lower level. Sweet spot

The house is really lovely. Plenty of space, good sized yard and parking. Newly renovated bathrooms and freshly painted! Location in a quiet neighborhood. Anne’s home is well stocked with plenty of everything you need from linens to glasses. She was quick to respond to my messages both before and during our stay. We were visiting on the off season. Perfect for us with hardly any people on the island. Enough restaurants and stores still open to entertain us. Highly recommended!

Girl's Trip 2023

Very beautiful and picturesque. We felt right at home. Lovely backyard! Short walk to Morning Glory for fresh produce, pastries and delicious Quiche! Short distance to Grocery Store, apparel shopping and upscale eateries. Loved Atlantic Restaurant. Feel as if personally know the Owner. She was so attentive and concerned about our well being. Visiting friends were so impressed with our house. Would highly recommend. Close to all of the amenities, but away from the fray.

MV girls get away

Overall ok location, comfortable home and well equipped! Newly renovated bathrooms were beautiful! What we noticed and concerned us the most was the cleanliness of the house overall! The windows look as though they have not been cleaned for awhile,spiders and spider webs throughout, mold on back of bedroom pillows , worn towels, light over kitchen table covered in layers of dust! A deep clean would make this house “shine”! overall a good experience!

I would like to apologize for the lack of cleanliness. I wish you had let me know so I could send someone over right away to address it. I will talk to my cleaners and make sure they do a more detailed cleaning. Regarding the location being just "ok", it is clearly described in the listing. We are an easy bike ride or short drive to Downtown Edgartown and three beaches are less than a 10-15 minute drive. My tenants have really enjoyed the proximity to Morning Glory Farm (a five minute walk). A Downtown Edgartown rental would be more than twice what I charge. I am surprised to hear about the towels. At least 1/2 are quality towels new this year and most of the remaining were new last year. I don't keep towels long. I donate the older ones tp Chicken Ally Thrift Store which supports MV Community Services. I have not seen mold on the pillows so I will definitely need to look into that. We do keep extra pillows in each bedroom closet. I will also look into the spider situation. There weren't any when we were there in July and we tend not to get them, especially since we finished the basement into a Rec Room. We do a Deep Clean at the beginning and end of the season. It isn't feasible to do one during the season since the house tends to be completely rented. Unfortunately on an Island the salt air and sand can take its toll over the summer. Again, I truly wish you had contacted me so I could make everything right for you and your friends.

Simply the best!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Ann's home. It was very clean and comfortable with many extras. It is located in a wonderful, quiet private community in biking distance to downtown Edgartown and was also close to many beaches by car. Morning Glory Farms close by was a great place to enjoy great baked goods, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as morning coffee. Check-in was easy. The home had everything we needed for cooking, grilling, beach and outdoor games. The house layout allowed the family to be together to enjoy games, meals and also allowed separate areas. The bedding was very comfortable. and the upstairs very spacious. Loved the showers! The very spacious new rec room downstairs gave us many nights of games, ping pong while others enjoyed relaxing on the sofa area. Our dog loved to walk around the community. We can honestly say that this property is the best rent-by-owner property we have had the pleasure of staying. We would gladly stay there again if a return trip is in the cards. Great Stay at Anne’s Cottage

We had such a great time staying at Anne’s cottage. I read a previous bad review and it was not at all my experience. There were no bugs on the walls and the place had everything we needed. Anne went out of her way to make us comfortable and gave us all sorts of great info and places to see on the Vineyard. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen had nice appliances and every possible utensil you would ever need. We played tennis on the property and they had bikes,ping pong table, all sorts of beach chairs and games. Location is a bit out of town but great for a little peace and quiet from the busy towns.BTW it is a short drive to Edgartown and a short walk through the woods to Morning Glory Farm that has great home made baked goods and all sorts of imported cheeses and meats. We walked there for hot muffins and coffee in the morning. I think some people forget they are renting someone’s home and not the Ritz Carlton!! I can’t say enough about how great Anne was helping us enjoy all the Island has to offer and you won’t find a better value for a rental property on Martha’s Vineyard! Will be going back next year.

Perfect island home

We were visiting Martha’s Vineyard from Australia for a wedding midway through a longer trip and this house was perfect for us. Very well appointed and equipped and very comfortable, pretty and quiet. Very comfortable beds and spaces we could spread out in and feel at home. Lovely big washing machine and dryer. We had a car but enjoyed being able to walk the short distance (5 mins) to Morning Glory Farm for bread and supplies and also walked into Edgartown (about 40 mins along the bike trail). The owner was quick to respond to queries. Highly recommend.

Lovely aesthetic, ideal location, beautifully appointed

Our group of five found Anne’s Edgartown cottage to be a light, bright and airy island retreat that exceeded our expectations. The 3-bedroom cottage boasts tasteful decor, high-end spaces, vaulted ceilings and an ample backyard. We were pleasantly surprised by the numerous outdoor games, including corn hole and spikeball, not to mention the ping pong table, bikes, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels. We wanted for nothing! The kitchen and patio were equally well-appointed, allowing us to create farm-fresh feasts and lobster bakes. The beds were quite nice, the linens were of good quality, and the towels were white and fluffy. We found the neighborhood to be sweet, quiet and charming. You’d be hard-pressed to have anything but a delightful getaway here! Highly recommend.

Family vacation and stay for the Vineyard Sound Anniversary Concert.

The property was even better than advertised. Clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted. We loved the short walk to Morning Glory Farm. It was great to be away from the congestion of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, yet close enough to get there quickly.

Five star stay!

Our host was great and was prompt to respond to our questions. Upon arriving we found the home to be tidy and with plenty of beds to accommodate our family. The twin beds upstairs (in one of the two bedrooms) can be converted to a full sized bed. The air conditioning was ample and the neighborhood was quiet for walks. The location is equidistant from two great beaches. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next summer!

I recently moved back to Boston after 40 years Colorado. I was a nanny on the Vineyard in High School and always dreamed of having a home there. I love the ocean. I got tired of rentals that were poorly equipped and not what they looked like on-line so I created my own home to share where people can come and fall in love with Martha's Vineyard the way I did. I also love to cook so you should have everything you need in the kitchen.

Island Grove is a great neighborhood and close to everything. We are tucked behind Morning Glory Farm and biking distance to Downtown Edgartown, South Beach and State Beach -- all on a bike path so you don't need to bike on the street..

This home has everything you need to enjoy Martha's Vineyard -- Newly renovated bathrooms and a new Rec Room in the Basement. A fully equipped kitchen, sheets, towels, beach chairs and games -- just bring your clothes (there should be extra toothbrushes if you forget one :) Mini Splits are in the bedrooms and the main area so you can adjust the temperature to what is most comfortable for you. There's a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. The patio/yard is set up to enjoy eating outdoors and Vineyard evenings.
