Die Villa LA MAGNIFICA in Tamariu bietet mit ihrer einmaligen Lage ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen und Träumen. Hier lebt man in Osmose mit seiner Umgebung. Ob drinnen oder draussen profitiert man voll von der Aussicht, es ist ein herrliches Gefühl! Die zahlreichen Terrassen bieten die Möglichkeit, je nach Lust und Laune, die Sonne, den Schatten, den Meeresblick oder den Blick auf die Pinien und Bergen zu geniessen. Der Pool kann im Mai, Juni, September, Oktober beheizt werden. Sie verfügen über eine Doppelgarage mit Aufzug für Gepäck und Einkäufe. Eine Treppe führt Sie nach oben zur Villa.
Die Villa verfügt über WLAN mit Glasfaser.
Erdgeschoss: hier finden Sie Wohnküche, Wohnzimmer und 1 Badezimmer. Vom Wohnzimmer haben Sie den direkten Zugang zur Terrasse und Schwimmbad (infinity Pool) mit herrlichem Meeresblick. We had an incredible stay. Elizabeth and Pierre were amazing hosts showing us the property, making sure we had what we needed, making recommendations on beaches and restaurants. The house is in a great location with fantastic views of the sea and the mountains, is very close to some of the best beaches in Costa Brava, and a short drive to grocery store and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, outside paces great for relaxing and dining, great pool, and very quiet at night. We will definitely be back as we couldn't ask for anything more in a vacation stay.

Week in Begur

The, location, view and infinity pool are the highlight of the property. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to make great meals, close grocery store with a butcher and bakery. Lots of towns and beaches to explore. Just one hour and 40 minutes to Barcelona. We had an incredible relaxing stay, and would love to return to this incredible property! Elisabeth and Pierre were lovely hosts and very accommodating!

Excellent stay in Costa Brava

Stayed at this villa with a group of friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean, great floor plan in the villa for a group, and the hosts are wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful experience

Fantastic pool, awesome views from the back and front of the villa, amazing location! A great holiday enjoyed by all ages…2yrs to 86 years. Lots of steps though, you need to be quite fit but it’s a good way to work off the fab food from the nearby restaurants!

The view and the villa are in perfect harmony. Both stunning. Spacious accommodation. All the outdoor terraces you could possibly want. Just sit back and look out over the infinity pool. This little corner of the Costa Brava coastline doesn’t disappoint.

Fantastic location and residence

Elizabeth and Pierre were very welcoming and the property was exactly as described. It’s a great location for accessing this lovely region and there was a good level of information provided. The villa has a great vista and is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. A few local restaurants in the town and many more just a short drive away. Overall excellent, better suited to older children rather than the very young.

Perfect stay

We enjoyed two weeks at this beautiful and tranquil property in July 2024. The views from the many front and back terraces are absolutely stunning and the location is a perfect base for exploring Tamariu and the other beautiful coastal villages. Elisabeth was a welcoming, accommodating, and responsive host. The house was well equipped and had everything we could have needed. The infinity pool also was a hit and the temperature was perfect in mid-July. We would love to return soon!

Fantastic villa and fabulous views

Our stay was from 14th to 24th September 2024, we were attracted to the villa because of the fabulous views and weren't disappointed! The villa is tastefully decorated and has everything one could need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts Elisabeth and Pierre were extremely accommodating and helpful for both the check in and check out and keen to ensure we had everything we needed. The views front and rear to sea & mountains were spectacular particularly at sunrise & sunset, and all time in-between! Bravo.

We had the most wonderful stay at Elisabeth and Pierre’s house and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to the beautiful Costa Brava.From the warm welcome that we received from our gracious hosts Elisabeth and Pierre to the amazing house, we have nothing but positive comments to make.We were a family group of 7 adults and the house worked very well for the large group. Accommodation was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the living areas flowed seamlessly from indoors to the beautiful outdoor area and wet edge pool. The views over the ocean were amazing and only matched by the mountain views at the rear of the house or roof top terrace where we watched some amazing sunsets.We found the location perfect for easy day trips to many of the places we had earmarked to visit on the Costa Brava and a wonderful haven to return to after a day at the beach or exploring nearby towns.We would definitely rate this a 7 out of 5 and thanks again to Elizabeth and Pierre for being such wonderful hosts.

An absolutely stunning home! We loved everything about this gorgeous well maintained and relaxing home. Elisabeth & Pierre are the best hosts I have ever experienced! They met us upon arrival. Explained everything thoroughly and were simply delightful. Their home is spectacular! Immaculately clean and very comfortable. We explored several towns in the Costa Brava area. This place was unreal! Elisabeth is an absolute delight and just so lovely! The home has the MOST unbelievable view and is located in a beautiful neighborhood! The home was clean and the windows!!! They allow you to see the entire mediterranean! The kitchen is fully equipped and we loved having 3 full bathrooms! We would move in if Elisabeth would let us!

Gorgeous View

The house, property and view are exactly as advertised. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. I agree with the comments about the steep walk back up from the village of Taramiu but we managed it. Our only disappointment was that the pool never got warm enough to swim in. But we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the terrace and never tired of the gorgeous view. Elisabeth was a perfect host.

Thank you for your feed back and for your compliment. I try to be a perfect host and I do my best for all things according to my skills. Too bad you were disappointed by the temperature of the water in the pool. When you said 23 degrees was too cold I was very surprised. Without heating it would have been 17 degrees. In Summer without heating it is 27 degrees but beginning of May it is technically impossible to have more than 23, 24 degrees. All depends on weather. I put the heating on 3 weeks before your arrival to optimize the result. Your disappointment is an excellent opportunity to explain that technology has limitations imposed by the weather and also that sensitivity to cold is unique to each individual because guests before you swam every day at 21 degrees and were delighted. Never less I am very happy that you enjoyed my house with its gorgeous view.

Nice house, no airconditioning, only fans available in the sleeping rooms (little bit to warm for the kids), great swimming pool, magnificent areas to visit (Begur, Perratalada, Pals) Nice dining in Tamariu, great view on several beaches but no fine sand and the beaches are small. A little bit more cleaning in the house according the ladies but it was ok (our standards are high :) ) Overall a very good holliday!

I am glad that the holiday was very good, it is the most important. In the description of the villa air conditioning is not mentioned, we don't have. The explanation is that according to the environmental rules the choice of our architect was clear: no air conditioning for preserving the environment. We agreed thinking about the next generation. The villa is built to have a natural ventilation. Its location at the top of the hill makes that you have always fresh air. Close to Tamariu you have a big beach with fine sand, the "platja de Pals". I'll tell the cleaning team that its work is OK but can be improved. Unfortunately the arrival was so late (one o clock in the morning) that the time for all explanations and check in was short. I am very pleased that you and your family enjoyed the fantastic views and the great swimming pool as well as the areas, I hope all of you keep beautiful remembers.

A place for a big family

When you’re a big family it is not easy to make everybody happy. But this marvellous villa was just the right place for us and our four children ranging from 9 to 20 years of age. Relaxing at the pool, the magnificent view over the sea, terraces all around the house where you could always find shade, sun, wind whatever you wanted. The house has no air conditioning, but it is right on top oft he hill and there was always fresh air blowing through the wonderful minimalistic rooms. Elisabeth and Pierre ware great hosts, we all felt at home. And we will come back...

A great holiday with a truly stunning view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa with its stunning views. A very warm welcome from Elisabeth and Pierre got our week off to a great start. The infinity pool with its view of the sea is truly wonderful - difficult to tear yourself away. We also enjoyed watching sunsets from the roof terrace. Walked into Tamariu a couple of evenings to eat although the return uphill journey was a challenge with full stomachs and after a few drinks! Really enjoyed a visit to Begur on market day, exploring the narrow streets and had an excellent lunch here. Also enjoyed the easy coastal walk at Llafranc and one day we walked to the nearby beach of Aigua Blava for a swim but have to admit the return walk was a struggle in the heat. Elisabeth and Pierre were great hosts and responded quickly to any queries. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house.

We just came back from a wonderful stay at this incredible villa. As noted by others, the views are amazing. Not only the seaside view over the infinity pool but also the bucolic mountains and forest out back. The huge house offers plenty of room to spread out and plenty of spaces for gathering. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. And though the house looks somewhat imposing and modern from the outside, its vibe inside is colorful and comfortable. We took day trips to Barcelona, Girona, and Figueres (the Dali museum is a must), but some of our favorite days were based right nearby: kayaking to hidden coves, hiking the Cami de Ronda, jumping off the diving board at Tamariu beach, shopping for dinner at the market in Palafrugell, sipping wine at nearby Mas Oller winery, and strolling through the incredible Cap Roig Botanical Garden. Elisabeth goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible.

Costa Brava Villa near Tamuriu

We (4 adults in our late 60's from the USA) stayed here in Early Sept 2023. The house was spotless clean & quiet. The pool was perfect. The view (sea & mountains) far exceed our expectations, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the appliances were easy use and everything worked. The bathrooms were modern, clean and everything was easy to operate and worked perfectly. Our host (Elizabeth) was extremely friendly, welcoming and it was easy to coordinate arrival & check out departure. The location of the villa was also perfect. We food shopped in open air market in Palafrugel and then picked up what ever we couldn't find at a huge supermarket in Palafrugel. From the villa we made day trips to Tamariu (beach), Platja d'Aiguablava (beach) & Playa Santa Cristina (beach), Pals/Palau-sator & Peratallada (medieval villages, Dali's House in Cadaque & The Dali Museum in Figueres. We cooked in the villa 3 times and ate out 4 times in nearby restaurants in Begur. In short, we couldn't have possibly had a better VRBO experience.
