Silver Lake Woods Lodge

Entspannende Kabine mit 2 Betten und 1,5 Bädern im Wald versteckt. Zum Silver Lake sind es nur 800 m und alle lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Kabine hat einen offenen Grundriss und ist komfortabel mit einem großen Steinkamin, 3 Fernsehern und WLAN ausgestattet. Es hat auch eine voll ausgestattete Küche und Annehmlichkeiten wie Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett sowie zwei Schlafsofas. Im Freien gibt es einen Gasgrill, einen Picknicktisch, Gartenstühle und eine Holzschaukel um andere Außeneinrichtungen.

The setting of this house was awesome! It was very secluded and quiet, but also being very close to the dunes. The roads around it were very nice to use for a morning walk/run because there were very few cars on them.

Best cabin we’ve rented on Silver Lake! It was perfectly set up to spend time as a family. Ever since our family grew too big for the family cabin down the street, we’ve had trouble finding a comfy spot near our grandparents, but this is it. We hope to rent it again each summer!

Very Peaceful

The house was very clean. It’s located 7 minutes from the dunes so we were able to do many activities, and it was a very nice and cozy spot to relax after all of our climbing.

Perfect location

This has the perfect setting in the woods. Roads to get here are sand just an FYI. It was fully stocked with items beyond what you normally get in a rental. They had the firepit full of wood and left us 2 bundles. It’s located less than 5 min from the dunes and all the dining and town options. Easy check in. No complaints at all.

The property was exactly as described and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Two very comfortable rooms and everthing we needed was provided. Nice fire pit as well as kitchen needs. Will definitely be back.

This is our 4th year at this property, that should say it all! All the comforts of home in a cabin like setting. Has a fire pit and chairs, grill and picnic table. Especially like the 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths (the extra bathroom is a big plus), nice washer and dryer, dishwasher & gas stove. The new larger sofa in the living room and 70" TV were great additions as was the upgraded internet. Appreciate that's it sits a bit away from other vacationers (not squashed in like other properties) so it's quiet and cozy. Close driving distance to the dunes, Lake Michigan lighthouse, Craig's Cruisers and convenience store. Thanks for offering this property, it was the vacation our family needed!

Great location at silver lake dunes

We loved our stay! The house is the perfect size for a family of 4. So close to silver lake dunes and we also visited ludington and new era and other towns nearby. This was our first trip to the area and we really enjoyed it. Wifi is pretty slow but that made for more family time!

Tranquillity Tucked Into Adventure Spot

We came for Jeep Fest and fell in love with this perfect hideaway nestled into the woods. Easy to find, everything included, perfect to rest and recoup location. Especially after a busy day on the dunes and exploring the area. This lovely home was so cozy and inviting. I just wanted to stay snuggled up on the couch in front of the fireplace the whole time. The decor was like a charming Tennessee Cabin with Michigan wildlife quietly walking through the woods. Great hosts with flawless communication. Definitely a “come back” location on our next trip to the area.

Escape To The Forest

Our 3rd Time at This Property

Really nice, comfortable, convenient place to stay close to Silver Lake & Lake Michigan but removed enough for privacy and quiet. The only possible problems are lack of air conditioning in one bdrm and getting up the road to the property because of loose sand (may need truck/Jeep).

Idyllic Spot in the Woods

We loved being close to the dunes and other things to do but being able to retreat to the sanctuary of this cabin. We set up a hammock by the firepit and spent many memorable hours talking by the fire. The place was convenient and comfortable and had everything we needed yet has the cabin charm we were looking for. We'd definitely come back.

Great location - 2nd time back

Great cabin in a secluded and private location yet super close (5 mins. Or less) to all the area has to offer. Silver Lake is awesome especially for kids and teens. The beaches are excellent. The Arnouts are great hosts. The cabin is clean and mostly has everything you would need(more forks please!) This was our second stay at the cabin and we plan on making it back!

Cute cabin! Very clean! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked with any utensil a person might need. Couple of helpful notes and FYI to future renters, the pics of the property are deceiving and show firewood available, however, was not the case when we rented. Informed by host to purchase firewood at either a local gas station or side road seller. Also the roadway to the property is VERY SANDY and requires at least 4-wheel drive to get to the property. Was a bit difficult to get to with 2 pickup trucks loaded up with SXS trailers. Also while the images show a private setting, the property actually sits right across to a residential home with full view of the property. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin to anyone looking to rent close to the dunes!

Property was advertised as a two bathroom. It was one and a half which when I reread the listing after we got there in another spot, it did say one and a half, which was an upsetting when that’s what I look for is two bathrooms with four adults going one shower for four adults is not ideal. When you are approaching the property, you see a sign that says that the road is only cleaned seasonally it is sand. Glad we had our 4 x 4 truck. I felt like the property had not been cleaned properly. There was a pair of sandals left food in the freezer and the refrigerator could’ve been wiped out better. When you pay a cleaning fee on top of the rental, you expect the property to be clean. When we went to take our showers, there were only two washcloths provided. There was laundry still in the dryer, which is where we found more towels. The owner did provide a 50 credit when this was advised to them; however otherwise it was a nice property.
