Hi Anonymous, Thank you for your review, we do hope you had an amazing time in this beautiful property. We have always had a 3pm check in, as it takes longer to clean a whole holiday house, compared to a hotel room etc. And now that we are doing covid cleans and with social distancing we do require up until 3pm to have properties ready and perfect for your stay, as stated in our confirmation email we sent to you upon booking. Even though we used to send the code at 2pm we do still require a 3pm check in by our guests. We discovered that everyone started checking in before 3pm when cleaners are still working, therefore we have had to change this procedure so that the code is now sent closer to 3pm. Apologies, that we were 3 minutes late, we have been understaffed since losing some of our valued staff during lock down. We do apologise for any inconvenience regarding you having to wait for 3 minutes after the check in time and hope you can understand. Kind Regards Verina & The Freycinet Holiday Houses Team.

Hi Margaret, Thank you for your review, we do hope you had a lovely time at this beautiful house and enjoyed the stunning views. Thank you for letting us know and giving us this feedback. Apologies, for some of the things that you experienced during your stay. We did send you all instructions and the address, also how to locate the key lock box in your confirmation letter when you originally booked. We also unfortunately had to change our usual system of sending the code for entry with that information, as we had found since coming out of lock down we had a high percentage of guests checking in early into their accommodation (up to 4 hours too early). Even when staff are in the process of cleaning or worse when the cleaner hasn't even arrived yet. This was creating major issues, especially in this time of social distancing and Covid safety. We are also taking more time and care in completing Covid safe cleans. We now have had no choice but to send the code separately just before 3pm. This change may have happened in the middle of your arrival date? My apologies! We did also send you the compendium electronically so that we are in line with the new regulations and are also in the process of having a QR code at each property so guests can access this information on their own devices. I'm sorry, I know this is not ideal for all guests, we don't want you to be negatively impacted, but we are trying to navigate a new normal, with having an accommodation venue and keeping everyone safe. The TV was damaged by previous guests and we did have a replacement in there in the meantime. We are only a phone call away if you need anything at all during your stay.
