Perfect family location

What can I say, this truely is the best located home we have stayed at. The home has all you can need, a great sized pool and a very short walk to the beach. The hosts are lovely and very easy to communicate with.

Beautiful family home, only a very short walk to the beach

We had a lovely time at this property. There was plenty of space for the kids, the pool is a great size and the furnishings and kitchen were amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Owners are very helpful and made sure we had all of the information we needed.

Wonderful family beach house!

A beautiful light and breezy modern home in a great location with easy access to the beach and village. The home was equipped with absolutely everything needed to make our holiday comfortable and enjoyable, and was spacious enough to easily accommodate our family.

Great family holiday

Beautiful home for a family

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Liz and John's Peregian Beach home. It is very close walking distance to the beach and also has a lovely pool in the backyard. The house is really spacious and was perfect for our large family (grandparents plus our family with 4 children). The views are beautiful and there are many outdoor living areas to enjoy.

Wonderful airy spacious oasis

We had a wonderful stay with extended family (teenagers and grandparents). The house has a space for everyone and the pool was fabulous for the middle of the day and when the surf was too rough. Everything we needed was there with super responsive and understanding hosts. Worth noting for those with reduced mobility that there are two flights of stairs in the house. The main living areas are extremely well ventilated to catch ocean breezes and plenty of ceiling fans, bedrooms are airconditioned. We would stay again.

Communication with the hosts, Liz and John, was excellent and timely. Prior to arrival and departure comprehensive information was forwarded to us to explain the arrival and departure processes. The host welcomes communication, if necessary, to answer any queries we might have. We have stayed here for the past three years for our early Christmas week with family. Christmas Day for us is the Saturday prior to Christmas proper. The house has a number of living spaces and also areas (numerous balconies and backyard) where you can also find space to chill out away from the crowd, if necessary. The large balcony at the front of the house has a large round table where we have family lunches/dinners and enjoy the afternoon cool sea breeze. The inside dining table and area is also large enough for a group of 10 to sit around to eat or play board games. A clean and well-maintained pool was popular with the family; a place to cool off and chat.As the home is in a cul-de-sac, without passing traffic, we were able to play cricket on the road in the afternoons. Our family love our Christmas stay at Surf Haven. We congratulate the hosts on the immaculate presentation of their property and endorse Surf Haven as a 5-star stay.

Fantastic Holiday House

We loved our stay at Surf Haven. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. Liz was very helpful with any questions and requests during our stay. The house is brilliant, just a short walk to the beach, Peregian Village is just a 10 minute walk and the pool was used everyday. There is ample living area, so you can move always to a fabulous place depending on the weather. The photos do not do it justice. We will be back.

Fabulous Early Family Christmas

This is the second year that we have stayed at this beautiful property. With a family of eight adults and two children (5 & 7), this home has numerous living spaces, in particular, the three balconies/decks, where we can spread out for quiet moments or come together for family time. We love the large round table on the front deck where family can meet for dinner. The pool area is a favourite place to swim and chat. The beach is only a short walk from the house: play and swim in morning then beach cricket in the arvo. Upon arrival, the property is well presented. The hosts provide well written instructions regarding house appliances and operation of the home. The hosts also communicate freely and readily to requests and questions. We highly recommend this property and the hosts.

Great house and location, but…… Too many rules, need to trust people who pay very large cost to stay. If people were not trustworthy, then they wouldn’t have listened anyway. Had to clean a lot of the cutlery, bowls etc. scourer still dirty from last guests, very few toilet rolls for 6 people. We left feeling that we couldn’t relax on our Xmas day

Thank you for the feedback Paul. The rules for our home are as required by short term rental in Noosa Shire and designed to ensure the amenity of the area for guests and residents. We do ask that guests care for our home to enable us to present our home well for the guests who stay after you. We generally supply 2 rolls of toilet paper for each toilet but apologise if this was insufficient for your needs. I sent several messages to you asking if you needed anything, and received no response to any of my messages, so I did assume that everything was suitable. If you had replied to me I would definitely have attended to the dishwasher immediately and provided more toilet paper. I am unable to rectify issues that I am not aware of until the day you check out. We aim to maintain a high quality in our home and always want our guests to be completely happy. Regards John and Liz

Excellent Early Family Christmas at Surf Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surf Haven. The occasion was our family's early Christmas consisting of eight adults and two children (5,4). The main bedroom was large with a generous anteroom, where the children slept on a blow-up double bed. All of the other bedrooms were comfortable for the couples that stayed there. The outside studio next to the pool was fantastic and very comfortable for Mum and Dad (Mimi and Poppy). The house was immaculate in presentation. There were numerous areas within the house and on the decks to sit, have a cup of tea or beer and chat. Our family particularly loved the large round table on the front deck where we enjoyed our evening meals and the sea breeze. The beach was only a short walk away and Peregian Beach coffee was only a ten-minute walk down the road or along the beach. The pool was clean and well maintained. Liz and John were excellent hosts and all instructions regarding the property were clear and easy to follow. Our family 100% loved staying at Surf Haven.

Fantastic location and well-equipped house

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. There were so many different levels and areas, both indoors and outdoors, to use and enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped and we weren't far from shops for the few things we needed ourselves. It had a wonderful view and it was easy to relax there. Paradise holiday

We stayed here for a week, reuniting my VIC based family with my NZ parents and sister (5 adults/2 kids total). The house was big enough for everyone to have space, but allowed us all to congregate in different areas. Eating meals at the large table on the deck, evening drinks with sunset views, reading by the pool-it was an amazing get away. Easy walk to the beach (big dumping waves-recommend going down to lifeguard area near town), and the shops so close by also. Liz was so helpful and generous, via Stayz or text. We would definitely recommend the place & will come back for sure!

Perfect position

Gorgeous accommodation that surpassed our expectations. Newly renovated kitchen with great appliance selection. Beautiful breezes throughout the house. Separate guest room ideal as an escape from the kids! 3 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the closest coffee shop. We particularly loved it was in a quiet cul-de-sac! And with a fully fenced yard for keeping our 2 and 4 year old safe to roam in the front yard.

A touch of paradise

A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Everything we needed and only a stone's throw from the beach. The house is extremely comfortable, quiet and spacious while Peregian Beach has all the amenities, cafe's and shopping one requires. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful property to friends and family visiting the area in the future.

Everything we wanted and more.

My sister and I wanted a quick get away with our children (aged 2 x 10 years, 1 x 12, years, 1 x 13 years and 1 x 14 years) before the crazy Christmas rush. After spending hours looking for something that ticked all our boxes we found Liz's place "Surf Haven" on Stayz and it was the greatest gem we could have found. Our must haves were a pool, a beach with easy access and within short walking distance, enough space to accommodate seven of us, and we needed shops and restaurants within strolling distance. Also with our 5 children all wanting to do something different at different times we knew we needed something a little bit special. It was perfect. Surf Haven ticked EVERY box. Liz had everything we could have needed to make our stay so easy and special. The property was exceptionally clean, fresh, airy and bright and had a beautiful modern beach feel to it. All bedrooms and living area were large and catered for all. With 3 large verandas, front and backyard and most importantly a pool, at no time were we short on space. As we spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen we loved that the back window opened up to the back balcony which looked over the pool allowing us to cook and keep an eye on the children at the same time. Huge thank you also Liz for the coffee machine! GOLD!! All seven of us will take memories from here that will last a life time and we look forward to returning again soon to make many more. We can't stop talking about it and are already trying to work out our next visit. Thank you so much Liz and family for opening your home to us. We feel very privileged. Great Family Getaway

Our family of 5 (3 kids aged 8-11) loved the whole time we were there. An extremely well set up and provisioned beach house! Minutes away from the beach and only a km from the flags at Peregian. Pool was great for the kids when they couldn't be bothered to make the 5 minutes to the beach! We will be back!
