Bluey's House

The Bluey's house was lovely place to stay. Very open and spacious. The pool at the font of the property and entertainment table outside were amazing. The views from the balcony were also stunning. The only downside to staying here was that you can get a noise complaint from neighbour/s. For us it was the kids playing in the pool during the day. Otherwise a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Great place to relax and enjoy.

A piece of paradise.

We have just had the most wonderful week at Bluey's. Four generations from 4 different parts of chilly Australia all met up in Sunrise Beach. The house was perfect in every way. Beautiful views, including whale sightings, lovely spacious entertainment areas, with a balmy warm swimming pool, and elegantly appointed sleeping areas. Kitchen was superb. We cannot imagine a better place and certainly plan to head there again. Five star without a doubt!

Family Celebrating a Special Birthday

Our Family had the most amazing holiday at Bluey's. When we arrived we were met by a lovely young man who showed us a few things and answered our questions. The house was in immaculate condition, we were so impressed and new as soon as we walked in we would have an amazing holiday. It is so well appointed from everything you need in the kitchen to cook great meals as we did, to a fabulous BBQ area down at the pool. At the BBQ area there is a wonderful large table so a large family/group can enjoy a meal together. The pool was wonderful for our grandchildren and the adults enjoyed a few swims as well. There were plenty of pool towels available for our use. We were so grateful as we didn't bring any ourselves. The beds in the home were all so comfortable. The bunk room beds were great as well. The bunk room was a lovely area for our younger ones to watch a few movies. We also enjoyed having meals on the deck just out from the kitchen. And enjoying the view of the sea. A few of our party walked to the beach which was only about 7 mins from the house. We found some restaurants and a few shops 5 mins drive away. We all had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful home and would love to repeat it all again one day.

While check-in was easy, the amenities were acceptable, the facilities were nice, and communication from the host was great, I would not stay at or recommend this property again.The terms and conditions were quite threatening, which I could somewhat understand until I experienced the primary concern on the first night. Neighbors complained, and security was called to the property. This was uncalled for, as we were inside with all doors and windows shut, yet security was still dispatched. Fortunately, the security guard, who we later learned had been outside for some time trying to hear the reported noise but couldn't, informed us that these complaints are normal from the neighbors.This leads me to believe it was a setup by the property management. They appear to be aware of recurring complaints and have included a clause in their terms and conditions stating they hold the right to evict guests without a refund to protect their income. We paid for a service that, in essence, we did not fully receive, and our siblings' reunion was unfortunately disrupted.Additionally, the stove was a significant issue. Our private chef struggled to prepare meals on time due to its improper functioning. Although a camping cooker was provided, he was not satisfied, which resulted in additional costs for his time. For safety, I also recommend providing a first aid blanket for emergencies and replacing the outdated fire extinguishers in the BBQ area.

Just to clarify, all holiday homes in Noosa must follow the Noosa Council’s Guest Code of Conduct. If a neighbour raises a concern after 7pm, we are required to send security to check. On this occasion, security attended, found no excessive noise, and simply reminded the group to keep voices down, as you are in a residential neighbourhood. There was no discussion about eviction, and this was the only complaint received at this property in the past year. The kitchen appliance has since been inspected to ensure it is working as expected, and all our homes are equipped with both a fire blanket and a fire extinguisher for guest safety. We do appreciate your suggestions and will continue to review ways to improve our guest experience. While we are disappointed to learn you would not return, we thank you for your feedback, which helps us maintain high standards across our properties. Kind regards, HolidayHomes@Noosa

Great Holiday Home for Groups

Three families with 5 kids between us had a great time at this holiday home. So close to everything and plenty of entertainment for the kids at the house. The heated pool is a winner.

short family getaway

This was a quick family getaway for my family of 5 (kids, 14,19 & 21) plus my parents who are in their 80's. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from spending time at the beach to relaxing around the pool. The house was equipped with everything you would need so there was no need to rush out and buy unnecessary cooking essentials as it was all there. We ate in most nights as the view and outdoor dining was so appealing and easy for us all to just relax. We would definately stay again.

Family celebration.

The house provided everything we needed and probably a bit more for our multi generation stay. (The welcome hamper was much appreciated!) The outdoor pool area was stunning and we all spent many hours there. The kids loved there own sleeping and playing space complete with tv. A beautiful home so thoughtfully set up you could want for nothing. A wonderful stay.

Perfect for Family Holiday

Bluey's was absolutely awesome for our family holiday of 4 couples and 4 children. Plenty of space and separate areas so no one felt crowded in. Was wonderfully stocked in kitchen and the downstairs bbq/pool area was simply awesome! Everyone felt sad when it was time to leave!

Family celebrating a special Birthday

The home was amazing and we all felt so comfortable. It was immaculate and so well appointed, from the wonderful kitchen to the lovely pool/ BBQ area. Very comfortable and clean beds/bathrooms. Plenty of room for a large family to have their own space. The lovely deck and dining area with great views is a must at meal times. The location was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and ten minute drive to a very good shopping mall. The property managers were so helpful and easy to communicate with. We would certainly return and recommend this beautiful family home to our friends.

Beautifully presented house with every ammenity!

Two families stayed at Blueys we loved it. Could not fault anything. There were plenty of glasses, crockery etc we had fun eating in most nights and using the great kitchen to cook up a storm!! The kids were thoroughly entertained whether they were in the heated pool (amazing!) playing hide and seek, or watching Netflix in their huge bunk room!! The master bedroom was beautifully presented. We enjoyed soaking in the luxurious bathtub. Kids loved it too!! If you’re looking to stay near Noosa but be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle this is a great option. The surrounding streets were serenely quiet which was a welcome relief from Hastings Street!! It was a short walk til you were on Sunrise Beach. Glen the host was terrific, welcoming us on arrival and showing us through everything! Thanks for the basket of goodies in the fridge! Very nice touch! Great place! Would love to stay there again!!!!

Excellent

Bluey’s beach was amazing. We were met late and shown through this spacious, spotless, comfortable and so well equipped beautiful house. Our family of twelve had a wonderful week. We enjoyed a couple of dinners in Noosa (so many restaurants to choose from) but enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and barbecue area which made cooking for so many easy. The heated pool was wonderful. We had a few days out experiencing the area, though the kids were happy to stay at home and have “pool days” . Wonderful views from both spacious decks. Fantastic stay, would love to return

Great For Families

We had two families staying here, 4 adults and 6 children. Bluey's Beach House was fantastic for us. Lots of space, very functional - almost perfect. Slight downside was driving to the beach, but we knew this before we booked. Would highly recommend this place. Cheers Bluey!
