Very clean and plenty of room. Easy to get to and close to the attractions we wanted to see. The bear and her cubs were a bonus, we wanted to see Colorado wildlife! I would recommend anyone to stay here, it made our trip even more enjoyable!

Overall the stay was nice. The location works well for visiting area main attractions and the unit is spacious. Located in nice and quite neighborhood. We visited during a very hot time of year and could used fans to circulate air of the night when trying to sleep. The place could use more personality and decor to cheer the starkness up.

Great location for places we wanted to visit. Picked this place for us to have a central location. Generally we’re within 2 hours of every city we wanted to go. Basement we stayed in was very clean and quite. 3 bedroom with one bath. Owners were staying on site at the time. Very friendly. Worth the stay. Was cheaper then getting 2 hotel rooms.

Nick and Florence, the owners were so kind and welcoming. The ABNB was in a gorgeous setting, so quiet and peaceful. Going to the Garden of the Gods is a favorite of ours and is so close.The ABNB had so much to offer. So quiet, beds very soft and comfy, a big bathroom and open concept kitchen with a large dining table and big couch with 2 chairs in the living area. If you want any drinks or food such as coffee, tea or to cook, you will need to stop at the store to get all your ingredients at the store. None of these are supplied. Also, a light jacket to wear as it was cool downstairs. Many basements units in CO are like this and we forgot ours. Otherwise, a great stay!I highly recommend staying here if you enjoy nature, need a good sized space, and is super easy to get to and out to Colorado Springs. Quiet and Peaceful Living

The basement apartment was so spacious and quiet. We appreciated having lots of space and a nice place to return to after our adventures. The temperature in Colorado was between 80 and 90 while we were there. We had brought fans with us. There were a couple of fans already there. Between both we stayed comfortable and slept well. Know that it is a basement so there might be spiders or bugs. We encountered this when we arrived. No big deal, we bought a small bottle of insect spray and some sticky traps and didn't have any issues after. We were planning on cooking our meals, but they only had an induction stove, no vent hood, and no oven. We ended up eating out and buying somethings from the grocery store that didn't require cooking. This was a disappointment but not a deal breaker. The one thing that we did not like was the driveway. It is on a slope and the right side where you park for the apartment was difficult to maneuver without hitting the concrete retaining wall. As well as navigating backing out. If you are an expert parker, you probably won't have any issues. However, the apartment is well worth the parking struggle. It is close to everything we wanted to do and see, and the owners are so respectful of our time there. Either the house and apartment are insulated well, or they are just super quiet people because we heard some movement above us but never any voices. I would highly recommend staying here.

The property was beautiful, and the basement was spacious. Traveling with two kids isn't easy, but this place made it comfortable for all of us after the long days. I am so grateful we found this amazing place and will look to stay here again in the future.

The property was clean, but sparsely decorated. Drapes in bedrooms were at least two feet too long and hung on the floor behind the beds - a definite safety problem. There were no ice trays or dish towels. The owner told us she gave us a (partial) roll of paper towels to dry dishes (for a week)? Really? We finally got one dish towel, but the owner does not provide ice trays. Really? Who doesn't need ice trays? The grout in the tub was moldy in places. The entrance - from which we got our first impression - had not been swept in some time, and the mat was messy. It was a nice place, nice linens and clean, but lacked some things - like spoons. There were only three spoons for stirring coffee, eating ice cream, etc., . What if there had been more than three of us? I did notice a review that mentioned not being able to control the thermostat. That is true, but we were there when the outside temperature was in the 90s, and we were very comfortable - even though one of us is hot natured. The fans provided are excellent for anyone who needs them.

Hi Joyce, we're glad you enjoyed certain aspects of this property, but sorry your stay fell short in certain areas. - We followed up with the homeowner, who assured us that a dish towel was provided. - They did want to apologize for the lack of paper towels, spoons, and ice trays. Certain items tend to disappear throughout the summer, but they will do an inventory to make sure nothing else is missing. - The owner also let us know that the front entry is always cleaned before check-in, but unfortunately, it was still wet from a rainstorm, so they were not able to sweep the mat before your arrival. They were glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall and appreciate the helpful feedback!

The area was very beautiful. Saw lots of deer in residential area. Close to almost all attractions. Just need to let renters know that need to bring steel pots and pans. They only had one small skillet and let renters also know you are only aloud to warm things up. Other than this is was a great place. The upstairs owners was the most wonderful people you will ever meet.

This is a nice, roomy apartment with a great location. Master bed was very comfortable. Not sure about the other two rooms, no comment was made. The property manager was attentive and helpful. The neighborhood is wonderful with great walking opportunities. Things to be aware of: kitchen is not well equipped and only functional for 'light cooking/reheating', only one bathroom which is a bit of a challenge for a group of adults, no washer/dryer; you cannot control temperature in apartment; parking is a bit challenging for bigger vehicles.

Beautiful and convenient location!

This was a great place to stay for the week. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Very friendly landlord!!! And it was so convenient to so many things I wanted to do with my kids: Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, mountain biking, hiking, and more! Wish I could have stayed even longer!

Colorado gets hot!

Home is nice. No central air and it gets hot in Colorado. Fans are provided for rooms but it’s not enough. Air gets stagnant and doesn’t circulate. Bring your own snacks and water. This location doesn’t provide any extra treats or hygiene items if you forgot anything. Driveway is very steep and be sure not to scratch your vehicle trying to pull into your designated parking spot. I personally feel parking on the street is safer but were told you can’t. (Yet the neighbor parks his truck there.) Also, should there be an emergency... just know there is only one exit.
