View from the room is great: Sunset, ocean, whales, sea turtles. Food choices and beaches nearby (minutes by car). Lovely stay

We enjoyed watching the whales and the turtles… Lovely quiet place. The only thing is getting to the beach would require some athleticism because of the rocks and waves.

Close enough to restaurants, activities but not overly crowded. Loved the condo, it had everything we needed plus a lovely lanai with a gorgeous ocean view for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So to start off when we arrived at the condo there was a lot of roaches in the cabinets and in the bathroom. After the first night we didn't see any more roaches. The condo was nice and had all we needed for our stay. The view is perfect and snorkeling right behind the condos was very nice as well.

We stayed from late June early July. This is a perfect spot since its right off the beach. The views are awesome also with the great location of where its at. This condo has everything you need for daily purposes; washer/dryer,cooking utensils,silverware,plates&cups. Wooden chairs inside may need to be replaced soon as they wood rock when sitting down,everything else was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lonnie was amazing and took very good care of us! She was responsive and very helpful in every way! The owners could use to put some money into upgrades in furniture and repairs. The couch is not in very good shape with stains, there are several place they used scotch tape to secure items like linoleum that has separated on the countertops, peeling cabinet and a fennel of the beds head board that was not attached and had been gorilla glued many times. The condo itself is great it just need some deferred repairs and new furniture.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time using VRBO and I was nervous the unit would not be as nice as it looked. I was relieved as soon as I walked in. The views were amazing, saw numerous turtles and snorkeled everyday. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the personal touches left by the host. Host left a binder of instructions for the building, flyers for local restaurants and things to do near by. Plenty of places to eat close by as well as a grocery store if you want to save money and cook your own meals. Kitchen had everything we needed to do so. The only negative about this area is that its on the other side of Mt Haleakala and RTH.

Beautiful view and clean room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My Husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the kaleialoha rentals! Disclosure: this is not a resort so you won’t get the giant fancy pool area and free breakfast like other places but my husband and I weren’t looking for that so we didn’t mind. With That being said the pool was perfectly fine and never more than a few people at a time. This is completely beach front unlike most of the resorts we had a completely unobstructed view and looks exactly like the pictures. The residents in the building we met were firendly and the room was very clean and filled with everything we could’ve needed including boogie boards and snorkels. The location was also perfect as it was lined up with all the other resorts and made it easy for ubers and taxis to find, plus with only a short drive to get to front street and local grocery stores. The owner made sure she regularly emailed providing us with all the info needed for check in and check out and everything went according to plan. Very happy with our stay and will probably be our go to if/ when we plan another trip.

Maui Sunset Dream Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental experience was fantastic. The location cannot be surpassed. We were steps from a beautiful beach that had the most amazing snorkeling reefs. Each day we were there we swam with sea turtles and every kind of fish you expect to see in Hawaii. The beach was not over populated either. There were never more than two or three other people in the water with us. Every night the sunsets from the lanai were breathtaking. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday you can walk to the Farmer's Market for fresh vegan food. Nearby Napili Market and restaurants provided everything we needed to eat. The condo was decorated nicely and had everything we could have wanted, including boogie boards and chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable. The unit has an A/C in it, but we only needed it at night to sleep, as we were there in July/August. The property was so clean and well-maintained. A maintenance manager lives on site and is visible all day. The property manager herself was easily accessible and responsive. I would rebook this unit in a heartbeat and plan to in the future.

Minimally stocked condo in good location with great view

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay (07/18-07/23/2018) was a mixed bag. The view is awesome. Lanai and Molokai, beautiful sunsets between them this time of the year. We were disappointed to find near zero condiments (only salt, pepper and some old vegetable oil and soy sauce). The furnishings were nice, but the convertible couch was uncomfortable for sitting. One wall is a full mirror which gives the space a larger feel. Lots of glass-topped furniture with no drink coasters or glass cleaner=lots of smudging with no way to clean. Our biggest issue was that the condo manager didn't tell us ahead of time about some major plumbing work that caused them to turn off the water for the entire day after our arrival. No water = no cooking, no showers, no bathroom, no way to just hang out in the condo, and no way to clean up for our anniversary dinner! After a lot of back and forth the first night of our stay, we settled on a refund amount, but still was very stressful. This is an older condo complex and plumbing fixes will be on-going for several years. Although this particular unit should be OK now, be sure you ask the condo manager about any planned major repairs. She admitted to having known about this work for several months, but had "forgotten" to tell us, even when she was with us at check-in.

Complete Relaxation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One week spent at Kaleialoha resort was a time to get away from the business of touring and activities. With the beach and turtle watching right outside our window, the days gently flowed by. Walking down to the local park and sitting in the shade made it easy to escape the afternoon sun. The sun would beat into the condo just after lunch so it was a must to get out! Close by were some delicious meal options if cooking wasn't on our agenda. Keep an eye on opening and closing times as your choice of restaurant may unexpectedly close early! If cooking at the condo, the BBQs were always clean and well maintained. We didn't rent a car for our last week on Maui and with the location a bit further from the main stream activities, getting around would have been more difficult if not prepared to take the bus. The bus stop is right outside the condo and the on-line schedule easy to follow. Times grocery store was a 15 minute walk so we loaded up on groceries before we returned our rental car. To get back to the airport we found that Uber did not run later in the evening in this area. We ended up booking a shuttle. I would recommend having a car for this part of the island as busing and shuttles/Uber are more expensive than from travelling in Kihei. This was our second visit to this property and we weren't disappointed. Everything was clean and in good repair. The biggest thrill was being able to watch the turtles feed while enjoying the surf and sun right from our balcony. We will certainly visit again and have recommended to our friends.
