The location and unit was perfect for us. We loved sitting outside and seeing the ocean, turtles and whales. It was a quiet and comfortable environment. Lonnie was very responsive when we contacted her. We were wondering if everything would be closed from the fires and it was NOT. Plenty of places to eat, shop and enjoy! The only issue we had was the bedroom got warm with no AC and the ceiling fan not working. Fortunately the weather wasn't that hot during our stay.

109 was everything & more. This was my 15th time to Maui & by far my favourite condo. The ocean was right there. The swimmable beach, turtles every day, fully stocked condo. It was perfect. We will be back!

We weren't daydreaming!

While the property may be dated, it is clean and offers priceless views. Within 10 minutes of arriving, we spotted several turtles and even whales! We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby food truck park, indulge in cinnamon rolls at Papi's Ohana, grab coffee at Bad Ass Coffee, and stop by the ABC store.

This place is gorgeous! we stayed only a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable. place was clean and the location is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. This is a place I would defiantly come back to.

My only comment is that the AC was old and rusted so it didn’t really make the living room area comfortable to sleep in. It was almosts as if it was blowing hot air because we were following how low we could set it. It was me, my significant other, and my two kids so the kids were supposed to sleep on the pull out sofa and us in the room. However we all crammed in the one room because it was cooler in there. Lahaina has breeze but during the day in the room it was hot.

Originally in unit 109 (love the ground floor lanai and direct access to the outside area - unit is dated but view amazing). After first night plumbing problems and we were moved to an upstairs unit when it was determined the problem wasn't a quick fix. Newer updated unit 204 upstairs. Still ocean view though smaller balcony. We were back on Maui to help support the island with donations, volunteer and generous shopping, activities and tipping. Would stay again when on vacation.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've previously stayed at this facility in a different unit, but unit 109 is need of serious upgrades. For tall people you have to bend over backward to get under the shower head; the bed was way to soft and we woke with backaches every day; the slider doors to the lanai were difficult to open, the AC unit is rusting away from salt water on it's exterior likely affecting it's performance, the carpet [why is there carpet in the first place] was stained; so overall we'd never lease this unit again. It seems fairly obvious that the unit is in or near its original condition when the facility was built. The owner needs to seriously upgrade this unit to reflect current renter tastes.

Both times I rented through Lonnie Newman and she is always very nice and friendly. And this time they were having a big meeting there and it was wonderful they had food and hula dancers music, tents the owners went all out and invited everyone staying there. I do hope when we return someday it will be replaced. I do wish there was a safe on the lower level to lock up valuables. But you can not beat the sunsets and the turtles floating by. Perfect location to all the nice beaches. Snorkeling was pristine. We BBQ'd several nights right out the door. Nice pool to cool off in after snorkeling. We had a wonderful vacation and would gladly stay again. Lonnie was especially great in assisting us.

First Stay in Maui

We brought home leftovers and were able to utilize the oven, microwave and sink to reheat not only our meals but to prep additional ingredients as well. The backyard patio was wonderful to eat at and to also relax and view the ocean sounds and views. We were a short drive to Lahaina for all our shopping needs, Kaanapali for snorkeling, Kapalua for more private beach going and hiking, and a reasonable drive to Wailea for additional fun!I would highly recommend for all travelers to Maui who prefer a more individualized experience external of a resort!
