Great family house

House is just as it looks in pictures. Everyone loved having our own pool but also really enjoyed the water slides and other amenities. House is well stocked with everything. Highly recommend this home. Thank you for hosting us!

Great location, but that's about it.

The property was very dirty that we had to clean before using the house, had roaches (which they came to treat when we called), pool heater accidently turned off, took a day to re-heat the pool, no pool chairs, requested but never received, pictures were taken a long time ago. Everything is very old and very dirty.

Hello Kathy, good morning! Thank you for your review. We are sad to read that you did not have a good experience. Unfortunately, the house was sprayed 2 days before your arrival and this made the dead cockroaches appear. We do not like as well, but this is common in Florida. This also gave him the impression that the house was not clean, but we hired Jeeves who is the property manager who has the best and most expensive services in Orlando. Also, the pool loungers were replaced. I hope you can come back soon and have a better experience.

Awesome home

We had such a great time at this home! Our group loved the pool and hot tub after our days at Disney. The kitchen was so nice and spacious. The game room was fun and it was so nice to have space to relax and spread out with our group of 8. This was our second time staying at this home. We loved it the first time and loved it just as much the second time!

Great stay near Disney

We had a blast! The property was perfect for our needs. Pros and cons, just like anywhere but pros definitely outweigh the cons. People mentioned bugs and outdated furniture previously. We had a couple ants come through from the pool entrance but not a lot and nothing to bother about. Furniture was all there except the patio furniture was different than pictured and the grill shown has to be rented daily. Again not that serious. The air and Mickey room... We went in May and it's hot in Florida. You can only lower the temp in the entire house to 72○ and, ceiling fans in each room, but I woke up hot every morning. I understand the reasoning behind it but do feel it should be adjusted to slightly cooler when it is 95○ outside. The mickey room was the only bedroom downstairs and my youngest, 10, of course didn't want to sleep downstairs alone. Other than that it was wonderful. The beds were comfy. The movie theater was great and seats reclined. The Mickey room has one trundle bed and one single and were very cute. Each bedroom had a tv of at least 48 in screen, movie theater was bigger. Each room was stacked with extra towels and washcloths. Fully stocked kitchen. We did arrive after 10pm and quickly checked in at the gate across the street. He scanned my license and you enter your license to open the gate to get to the house, across the street. Make sure you check out the amenities and the clubhouse can give you resort cards to to use the amenities and so you don't use your license every time you enter. About 10 mins to Disney Parks, 30 mins from Universal, 15 mins to Disney Springs and a Walmart down the road 5 mins. Would definitely recommend this company and Erika's home. If we ever go back, this is where I'd stay. We had a wonderful time!!!

Fantastic stay

After reading other reviews I was a little worried about this property, I had even considered cancelling our booking and changing to another home on Encore. I didn’t and I am so glad I didn’t. From my first contact with Erika nothing was to much she was very quick in responding to any questions I had and went above and behind when we was waiting for the US boards to reopen. Our original dates did have to be pushed back due to the Covid closure however Erika was fantastic and dealt with it all. The home when we arrived was spotless and just as the description. My son loved the movie room along with the Xbox, the pool area was lovely and quiet, with no properties behind this home it gave the pool area a more tranquil private feel. The facilities on the Encore resort where also excellent, with a couple of fun water slides for those days not spent at the parks. When we next visit Orlando I will certainly be looking to stay in this property again. Thank you Erika for all your assistance and a stunning holiday home.

Great week away!

The house was perfect for our group - 6 adults and 6 kids (5-11)! Communication leading up to and during was fantastic with the host! We enjoyed relaxing outside by the pool/hot tub and also had a lot of fun at the waterpark/slides! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, two dishwashers that helped our group always have clean dishes available, and the cinema and game room got lots of use as well. We hope to visit again in the future!

Love Encore Club but not this property

Love Encore Club resort (resort amenities were great!!) but was underwhelmed with this property. As others mentioned, the photos are from when the property was brand new and it’s now a bit worn. There is a tree growing in the sand box. Since the sandbox is not usable, it should be removed from the backyard as it makes the backyard look trashy. The outside screen of the master bedroom upstairs was ripped and hanging, again makes it look like the property isn’t maintained very well. There were tiny ants on the first floor. The game room was underwhelming. The coffee pot was terrible—it was not easy to use and the trays leaked. The kids liked the Xbox and the movie room. The pool and hot tub were nice but the pictures made them look bigger than they are. On Friday, they cut the grass and weeded which left grass clippings in the pool and no one came around to clean it out afterwards. We paid for pool heat and it seemed the pool heat didn’t work properly half way through the trip. Had to call Jeeves to check on it. Some of the patio furniture was different than the photos. There was a small gas fire pit but no gas left in the tank to use. There was a mishap with the dates of our trip. Due to a flight change 3 months before the trip, I had reached out to Erika to see if we could extend the date on the front end by one day since I couldn’t do so in the VRBO website. Erika said yes this was ok. I took her word for it and didn’t realize until a couple weeks before the trip that Erika did not handle this request properly. We couldn’t check in when we needed to—we had to rent a hotel room for the first night due to the miscommunication. And, Erika failed to take ownership and failed to work with the property manager to try to get us into the property as we requested and that she agreed to. She may respond to this review to say it was my fault which she told me but the property management company, Jeeves, confirmed it was Erika’s fault. I spent a lot of time communicating with Erika/the property owner, VRBO, and Jeeves Florida Rentals/the property management company. If you rent through Erika, make sure to follow up on any requests to make sure they are handled properly, including asking for pool heat. Lastly, this property was across a Main Street from where the club house and rest of the Encore Club resort amenities were. Due the driveway, you could not go straight across the main road to the clubhouse side—you had to turn right, do a u-turn and come back

We understand that you are really upset because you could not have your checkin one day before, but as we told you, the property was booked to another guest and we could not change your period. We offered you full refund to cancel and have your money back but you decided to keep. All other problems that you mentioned are being adressed. You picked a period with rain and wind and because of that you saw some grass in the pool, but the service is provide twice per week and the pool is cleaned at that time. If you want to try again, It will be a pleasure to provide you a better experience

Great time at a family friendly house

Our family of five enjoyed our time at this house. It has everything you need to enjoy a great time in Orlando. The only issues were that the cleaning crew did not do a complete job of cleaning prior to our arrival. My wife decided to vacuum some of the floors and carpets to finish the job. The other issue is unrelated to house - the traffic outside the neighborhood. The city needs make the road two lanes as this was always an issue (getting back to the property).

Overall nice house, VERY complicated entry

The house was clean, and a good size for us. The patio furniture is dated, there is no canopy bed, and the sand play box is unusable as there is a tree growing in it. It’s obvious that the pictures were taken when it was brand new, and it is older now. The house itself is large, and it was clean, the movie room is a nice bonus. However, we were given no instructions on how to enter the gated community. After calling, we were able to get in, but the gate was broken the majority of the time. Since there is only one entrance this made it very hard to get in. At one point, traffic to get in was backed up onto the highway, and after waiting 20 minutes and calling, security finally came to help everyone get in. After a long day in the parks, this was a lot to deal with and not worth the trouble. If they fixed this and made it easier for renters to get in, it’s be different, but as it stands, I wouldn’t rent this property again because of the gate issues. It’s also not ideal for parties with more than one driver, as they all have to register their license to be able to enter.

Month-long Stay

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The property was as represented in pictures, clean and had most of everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the 2 dishwashers definitely came in handy. The pool outside was big enough for my crew of 9 and we paid for heating it, which made it even more enjoyable, even on the chillier days. The outdoor furniture was a little tired, but served its purpose. I wish the home had more cleaning supplies. I suppose most people don't stay so long to feel the need to clean, but for those who do, better cleaning tools/supplies would have made the stay easier. But this is probably not an issue for most. The wifi worked well everywhere, except outside by the pool area. The property management company was responsive, although they have not resolved all our issues during the time we stayed, but none were big deal issues we had to have fixed. The things that required immediate attention, they did fix for us. There is a little park in between the homes, a short walk from this house which was much utilized by my children, which included a splash pad, a play/slide structure, a basketball court and a volleyball court set-up in sand. Kids had great fun going there every day. We would stay here again, without hesitation.
