Hi Kristie, the homeowners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, so they were surprised by your feedback and wanted to share the following: - We make cleanliness and sanitation a top priority, and our professional cleaning crew has always done a thorough job of preparing the home before each guest's arrival. We checked the house and did not detect any unusual or musky smells. - Additionally, the house is all hardwood, which is intentional to help keep it clean. - We also checked for spiderwebs and weren't able to find any, but due to the location in the mountains, there could have been a spider web in the very high-arched ceilings. - While the beds are almost new and have high-end mattresses, as well as padding on top, we understand that mattress preference is unique to each guest, and we're sorry to hear that you weren’t comfortable during your stay. - We apologize for the slow draining tub. We immediately had the pipes professionally cleaned, and the issue was resolved. - We checked with our cleaners, and they have no record of an encounter with any guests during your stay. If the cleaners think a guest might still be in residence, they always knock on the door and call the guest before entering the home. The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!
