One of my favorite condominiums. Building is just the right size. Not too big. Plenty of amenities and common areas are well-maintained. Nice beach access. Great location on Perdido Key.

We really enjoyed our time at this property! Aside the construction next door that we were aware of, our stay was very peaceful!! Our condo was very clean and well equipped and location was good. Parking was much better than some condos and the balcony was great. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were rather small and furnishings in living room need to be updated. All in all, a good trip.

Gut: Check-in und Lage
The space itself was exactly what we were looking for as a family of five. Everyone had their own bed, there were three full bathrooms, and the 6th-floor Gulf view from the balcony was terrific. This was our first vacation to Orange Beach, and we were really looking forward to making some amazing family memories.Unfortunately, the condition of the condo took away from what could have been an exceptional stay. The front door looked like it had been through a few police raids and hurricanes. The front balcony door was jammed and would not close properly once opened; two bedroom fans were very noisy, and two bedroom blinds were broken. The master bedroom balcony door was also jammed and barely functional after maintenance got it open. There were also cleanliness concerns. The under-counter ice maker had black mold/mildew and was unusable. The main living area air vents had visible black mildew, and the shower curtains were dingy with mildew along the bottoms. We reported many of these issues within our first 18 hours. Maintenance came out and confirmed that most required significant repairs, replacement parts, or new equipment. I also contacted management to voice our concerns and give them an opportunity to make things right. The condo has a great layout and fantastic Gulf view, but the number of maintenance and cleanliness issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our vacation. With some attention to upkeep, cleaning, and repairs, this could be a much better property.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry that the condition of the condo took away from what should have been a special family vacation. We appreciate you reporting these concerns during your stay and giving us the opportunity to address them. We’ll be addressing any of the maintenance and cleanliness issues that have not already been handled. We’re glad the layout, space, and Gulf views were a good fit for your family, and we sincerely apologize that the overall condition fell short. Sunny Regards, Luxury Coastal Vacations

Family Christmas Vacation

It would be a perfect condo for vacation if furniture was updated! The living room furniture was worn out needs leather instead of cloth! The view was excellent! More than enough dishes, pots and pans! The condo roomy for a family of 5!

Great place

Condo was great. Perfect location with easy access to everything from restaurants to shopping. Only negatives were you will have to buy everything if you plan on cooking. There wasn’t even any salt or pepper. And you have to take quick showers because the hot water ran out quickly. Definitely can’t have multiple showers going at once. Other than those minor issues, it’s a great place!

Love the Beach!

Overall we had a great stay, but the unit was smaller than we anticipated and the entire building is very run down and needs major upkeep. We couldn’t even see out our windows due to the seal being broken. The mattresses were outdated and the entryway door was really unkept and not welcoming.

Beach vacay

We stayed at the Tidewater for a week. The pictures are correct and it looks just like them. The unit itself is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is smaller than expected. The condo building is old and not the nicest. The elevator works some of the time. I had 80 year old parents with us and they got stuck upstairs for half the day when both elevators were broken. One of the tenants told us that was a common occurrence. The management company told us it was not. There are newer and nicer condos with better pools and cleaner beaches. Will not stay here again. My in laws stayed in Perdido Key at the Eden. We ended up going to their property most of the time. They paid less as well. Live and learn.

We completely understand how frustrating the elevator issues were, especially for your parents, and we recognize how that impacted your stay. Your comparison to other properties and note about the building’s age and amenities was helpful for understanding guest expectations. While we’re sorry this stay wasn’t the best fit for you, we truly appreciate your feedback and hope it helps us continue to improve the guest experience for future visitors. ~Sunny regards, Luxury Coastal Vacations
