Villa Destiny

Die Villa Destiny ist eine schöne, geräumige Villa in einer ruhigen Wohngegend nahe dem Zentrum der lebhaften Küstenstadt Calella.
In 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder 3 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen Sie alle Annehmlichkeiten: Strand, Boulevard, Geschäfte, Restaurants und Supermärkte.

Genießen Sie den großen Sandstrand von Calella mit vielen Strandbars und Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Für diejenigen, die nach einsameren Stränden suchen, sind die schönen kleinen Sandbäche von Sant Pol de Mar zwischen Felsen und Pinien nur 5 Autominuten entfernt.

Barcelona ist leicht mit dem Zug zu erreichen, der alle 30 Minuten von Calella abfährt, oder mit dem Auto. Beide Fahrten dauern ca. 45min.

Sie betreten die Villa Destiny über den Carport, von wo aus Sie den Parkplatz für 3 Autos im Freien nutzen können. Weitere Autos können auf der Straße vor der Villa geparkt werden.
Von hier aus betritt man die ehemalige Garage, die in einen großen freien Essbereich mit Küchenzeile umgewandelt wurde. Ideal für die Kinder, um Spiele zu spielen, oder für Jugendliche, um einen eigenen Raum zu haben. Das Haus bietet verschiedene Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder: eine PlayStation, eine Wii-Konsole, Brettspiele, Tischfußball für Kinder und eine Tischtennisplatte.
Auf dieser Ebene gibt es ein komplettes Badezimmer für Behinderte / Rollstuhlfahrer.

Eine Etage höher befindet sich das Erdgeschoss, in dem sich die große Eingangshalle befindet. Vom Flur gelangen Sie auf einer Seite in das Wohnzimmer und haben direkten Zugang zum Poolbereich. Auf der anderen Seite des Flurs erreichen Sie das Esszimmer und die große, moderne, voll ausgestattete Küche. Separate Toilette auf dieser Etage.
Im Garten erwarten Sie ein privater Pool, ein Esstisch im Freien, ein Grill und ein Loungebereich.
Der gesamte Außenbereich ist wunderschön eingerichtet, um tagsüber den Pool zu genießen und an warmen Sommerabenden zu entspannen.

Im ersten Stock befinden sich vier Schlafzimmer und drei Badezimmer:
 - Hauptschlafzimmer (Doppelbett) mit eigenem Bad (mit Badewanne)
 - Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett
 - Doppelzimmer (zwei Einzelbetten)
 - Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett (Etagenbett)
 - zwei weitere Badezimmer (mit Dusche)
 Diese vier Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert.

Im zweiten Stock befinden sich drei weitere Doppelzimmer (jeweils mit Doppelbett) und ein Waschraum mit Waschmaschine, Trockner und Bügelzubehör.

We were three families with kids from 9-17 years old (14 ppl) staying for a week in July. It's a well equipped villa, and very spacious. Perfect AC and very attentive support from the villa management when needed. We enjoyed all the different spaces from watching the European Championship finals in football in the living room on a large sceen, to barbecuing and chilling by the pool. Restaurants and beaches are within walking distance but we recommend renting a car, if you want to go food shopping or go to other beaches. All in all, a great place to stay, we recommend!

Nice house, good located ( view min. to Calelal,beach by car ) and nice view. Good equipped with all you need and also enough for 12 persons ( we were there with 12 ). Important for us was that enough inside + outside furnitures are available ( big tables, enough chairs and sun beds etc. ). A highway is closed by, so you will hear a bit noise during the daytime, but the house has good windows - you hear nothing inside and it was not disturbing us outside / daytime. The communication with the hoster was fast and friendly. We can recommend the house.

Overall we had a wonderful family holiday, 13 of us in total ranging from 12yrs to 78yrs of age .The facilities around the property, the pool area, the seating areas etc were all really lovely and the day bed was the perfect get together spot for all the family to congregate and it overlooked the pool so easy to keep an eye on young ones if needed. We felt there was a lack of wine glasses for the number of people staying so that could be addressed along with the bbq base which was in disrepair. We also felt that extra hand towels could have been provided for the communal toilets. Also the lack of air conditioning within the property. Despite the fans provided it was just too warm in the rooms without air conditioning.

We stayed here from July 10th, 2021 to Juy 24th, 2021. We (a group of 4 families) enjoyed our stay very much. We were impressed by the size of the house and the facilities. Good Wifi and the Airco was perfect. There is a washroom in the attic with a washer, dryer and an iron. The pool is located on the far end of the yard. The pool is in the sun most time of the day. On the other side of the house there is a big bbq which we also used nearly every day. All windows have shutters so it will be very dark if you shut them. there are 2 refrigerators. One in the basement and one on the first floor in the kitchen. In the basement there is a second kitchen fully equipped with oven, dishwasher and sink. The House is located within a few minutes of the center (by car) but if you walk it is about 10 minutes. The hill is not too steep. On the bottom of the mountain there is a health center located (Centre Mèdic Creu Groga) you can take your Covid-19 test to travel back home. In regard to cleaning: The sheets got cleaned once a week. Both cleaning ladies had mouthmasks. the yard was cleaned once a week, also by a gardener with mouthmask. Regarding entertainment: on the first floor there is a livingroom with a large tv. The kitchen is equiped with a big tv The diningroom has a big tv Basketball rim. Big parking for 4-5 cars with automatic gate. Good service by Coastal Villas. Not all rooms have airconditioning. (basically 3 rooms have) the attic has no airconditioning but the owner told me he wanted to place more in a future. Wifi on the first floor is good, but adding a few AP (access point) will increase the range of the WIFI to for example all the rooms and the basement. (basement there is no wifi available) The big tree needs to be trimmed. Too much shade and to many needs. Also the pinecones are dropping every now and then and can harm someone if they fall on your head. (they are quite big)

Villa is beautiful and in great condition. Heated pool, air con on the top floors. It wasn’t too hot when we were there in September. But it we would have benefitted from aircon and/or window shutters.

A large villa ideal for 2 Families in a quiet location

We have just returned from a weeks holiday with friends and our children. Villa Destiny is a spacious property ideal for 2 families. Modernly decorated in the majority of the rooms although Bathrooms were very dated and required refurbished to match with the rest of the villa, Towels were limited and quite worn. A lovely garden/pool area (pool fairly small when accommodating a few children) but shaded areas when required. I would advice not to eat on the dining table provided outside as Ants are present as soon as you put food out. We also had another issue with Ants when we had finished cooking a meal we left a burger and chicken on a baking tray inside the oven, when we returned from a walk into the centre the oven was infested with hundreds of Ants that had got inside which left us doing a thorough clean before using it again. We arrived at the villa not having a kettle but after ringing the office a kettle was left within 24 hrs of asking. The property does speculate a safe was present although I would advise that we didn’t use it as it was not bolted down so open to anyone to just take it. The internet was good on many devices on first 2 floors but intermittent on the top floor. The air conditioning was fantastic in the first 4 bedrooms as stated but can become extremely hot when trying to sleep on the top floor even with the fans provided. It was a good 10 minute walk into the centre which certainly kept us fit on the steep walk back up, taxi required with shopping. A lovely view from the villa and very quiet location.
