Sie können einen wunderbaren Abend im privaten Clubhaus verbringen, das von Dienstag bis Sonntag kulinarische Köstlichkeiten serviert. Es gibt auch ein wunderbares Fitness-Center!

Great location

Wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend, condo is in a great location for lots of great hiking trails. Owners are great and are on site if you need anything. We were able to have a two dogs with us and area is very pet friendly. At the last minute we decided to stay an extra day and the owners were very accommodating!

Close to ski resort

This place is so close to the ski resort that it's really comfortable and good for skiing and enjoy skiing and snowboarding. The house is also very warm and clean, and everything you need is well prepared. The bed was comfortable and my family was very happy to rest here. It was so nice to be with my dog. Above all, I was very grateful and satisfied with the host's good communication and quick response.

Amith, We thank you for staying with us! We appreciate your feedback but are a little confused on how this came to be. As you can see, our condo is booked often with us never having hot water issues. In fact, I was there when you checked out and there was hot water almost instantly. Nevertheless, we apologize with this issue but was never informed of it during the one night that you stayed. We feel had we been informed we would have had a solution almost instantly due to the fact that we live close by and could of had it handled. With that being said, we feel a two star review a little harsh and not deserved. We hope you had a good stay otherwise and good luck in the future.

Great Location

This was a short walk to the Resort. Didn’t have to fight parking. The unit had most everything needed. The only suggestions would be to fix the bathroom door. Nob was broken. No way to close or lock the door. The kitchen cabinets were a bit old and grungy. Could be updated. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

I booked this apartment for a quick Thanksgiving vacation with my TWO young children, driving from Miami to North Carolina for the first time. The listing never stated anything about being under construction, but when we arrived the apartment decking area was completely unsafe and unfinished. The upper deck had NO railing, tools and materials were all over the entrance way, crews were on site at 0745 working and making noise, cutting wood, heavy machinery etc. Unfortunately it did not meet basic safety expectations and I am not eve sure if it would meet VRBO's regulations. The listing should be accurate and free of undisclosed hazards. As a parent I was very worried about my children's safety. We arrived in the evening with nowhere else to go, so we had to stay the night. The next morning, we were woken up at dawn by loud construction noises. I've tried to contact the seller, including via the APP as it was suggested, but I had no return on any of the messages I left. I did speak with the seller when I arrived on the property - thus when I was informed about the construction on site as I was trying to find where to park my vehicle next to dump truck and extra wood left in the designated parking spot. I wish we had a better experienc but unfortunately we did not. Host was not transparent about the situation and flat out stated would not reimburse for the nights we didn't even stayed there. Wish this could be a 5 star review but I would not like this to happen to anyone else.
This is really what bothered me the most, with 2 kids with me, completely unsafe. It clearly shows from the sliding door to the 20+ feet drop balcony with NO safe rail.
Yes, a 20-25 feet drop from that lending to the bottom of the picture, with NO RAILS.
Large pieces of wood left all over the parking area, you can even see a 3 inch screw right on the floor where it used to be the parking lot.
Stairway leading to the apartment, full of materials and crews working right there. You can even see all the sawdust from cutting all the wood.

A Few issues. Overall good experience

Place was clean. Was initially worried about no AC but with fans and windows open, the temperature was fine. Advertising about pool is misleading. Beautiful picture of pool when looking at VRBO site. Print below says that $300 fee to use pool. I missed that when booking. Keurig was missing a part and did not work. There was a regular coffee pot, percolator and a French press so we were able to have coffee. Also, walking distance from a nice coffee shop called First Chair. Games are very outdated and missing pieces. Yahtzee game with no dice. 🙃 Were able to sit on balcony and see fireworks display on Beech Mt and didn’t have to be in all that traffic leaving after. That was super nice. Enjoyed the brewery which was also walking distance. Open floor plan with a divider that you can pull between bedroom and living room. Seriously, only accommodates a couple or a couple with one child on pull out sofa. But no privacy for couple. Was just hubby and me so was fine. Hosts were responsive if we needed anything.

Just OK...or Maybe Not

It was ok. When we arrived the door was open--odd, but ok. When we walked in the place smelled like an old English dungeon . One of the windows was open. We opened all the doors and the smell eventually dissipated. It was ok, but would have been nice if the lamp between the chair and the couch had a light bulb, and it would have been nice if the electric clock was plugged in and the battery clock had a working battery. TV was probably ok, but without a remote that turned it on, we won't know for sure. The half roll of toilet paper was a nice touch--for awhile. Food was good, because it was ours, but the glasses in the cabinets were all dirty and had to be washed before using. The push button electric stove seemed to have two temperatures, warm and ultra hot. But it was ok. The next day, we decided to go out exploring. We forgot something inside and tried to return but the door security code we were sent would not work--guess that was why the door was open when we arrived. Got hold of the property manager who opened it remotely, then gave us a five or six digit code to use during the rest of our stay. She did stay on the line while I tested the new code. Since it was raining, we closed the doors and windows while we went out. Upon opening the door when we returned, the over powering odor of cat urine engulfed you. It was strongest in the closet between the bedroom and bathroom. Again, we opened all windows and doors so the smell could dissipate. It was ok, but it would have been nice to have a list of contact numbers, what to do with trash and bed sheets, towels etc. As I think about it some more, maybe it was not ok.

So we are not surprised at all about this guy’s review! As you can see from out other 5 star reviews that this is an aberration! This guests probably have no idea that there is a dashboard with a message thread to receive check in information! God knows how they came up with a 4 digit code since we clearly send a very detail check in information which includes the 6 digit code. That would explain everything since I never heard back from them at all while sending them their information and several welcoming messages. We left voicemails as well and even sent the information via email just in case. The communication was very poor on their end! We always leave 2 extra rolls of toilet paper (individually wrapped) which by the way we’re found unopened under the bathroom sink! What the guests describes in his message is shocking! We own the property and we live on Beech Mountain. We are not far away owners that have no idea what’s happening in their unit. The only thing I would I agree is that after his departure the light bulb was found burnt out. That would not have been a problem if they had ACTUALLY let us know. We have a basket with spare batteries and lightbulbs inside the unit for events like this. We would have even come and changed it for him since we live right up the road. All the remotes are ALWAYS located on the coffe table! Maybe we need to find a better place? Again, contact information, check out procedures, trash instructions and even things to do on the mountain are all included with the information that was sent. Perhaps this guests missed a little information! They left our place in unsatisfactory condition and when we approached them about it they said that we should expect a review. Unfortunately sometimes we get guests like this one! Based in our other reviews we will continue to provide with an awesome accommodation across from the Ski Resort!

Not what we had expected

First check-in was not ready which was fine due to road conditions as the cleaning lady could not get to the building. Once she arrived she was there for about 30 minutes. We walked in before she started claning and and after. They had used the same bedding and pillow cases as the guests before and the floors were dirty. We saw her walk in and out of the building. She did not walk in and with fresh linens or walk out with dirty linens. The bed sheets had hardened big stains on them. There is no laundry service. The water pressure and temperature did not work properly for the shower or sinks. It would run out of hot water within 20 minutes. The water from the bathroom sink would spray in all directions. The toilet was leaking water from underneath. I had to put a towel down to prevent anyone from slipping. The ceiling had openings with wires exposed. The kitchen salt and pepper shaker had thick dust on the tops and I went to shake one and little peices of dirt and bugs were coming out. The decorative pillows were torn and ripped. The bathroom door handle did not lock. They had a handle but no latch to keep the door closed (completely missing). This was just not what we had expected for the price they were asking. If I would of know we would of stayed at a hotel. This was not a good experience.

Beech Mtn Villa in July

Condo was just right for a couple's weekend getaway. Could not be more convenient to Beech Mtn Ski Resort Village, where the Ski lifts are, and also Beech Mtn Brewing is located. Short drive to anything Beech Mtn. 15-20 minutes down the mountain to Banner Elk and additional restaurants. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Stress free!

You know how plans never work how you want them to? Plans changed last minute, but the response was so quick and understanding. Our pup ended up coming with us, and she enjoyed her vacation too! The treat they left for her was one of the highlights. The place was cute and perfect. There were places to walk to for food. Oh! And we were given a list of nearby places for food and things to do. It was very, very helpful.

Walking distance to skiing

Location is ideal for skiing- you can walk right to the lifts. The place itself was clean and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

High Hopes Led to Disappointing Results

I traveled 10 hours with high hopes for a nice experience. I was given the code 5250 for the door. Upon arriving the door would not open. I called the owner who told me that that code had never been used, however it is still displayed on the VRBO page. He then gave me a six digit code which worked but the door was jammed and very hard to get into. There was no internet or television I could access. Behind the TV there is a mass of cords that I couldn't make sense of. I didn't dare call the owner back as he was not happy with me calling the first time. The mattress and sofa were nice. I'm not one to complain but this was such a disappointment for me as I was traveling alone and had much work to do that trip. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

The condo was clean & had supplies fir cooking. We had lots of deer around the condo which was really cool. It was convenient to the ski resort & nearby towns. Not so much of a view but the deer made up for it. Nice deck.

Short stop on the way home

We had a brief stop over on Beech Mountain on our way home. We stayed in this condo which we found on short notice. It is a clean space that was quiet and comfortable. Of note, there is no AC but a few fans and lots of ventilation. Overall this was a reasonable value and fit our needs in a pinch.

Spacious and inviting

This is a great little place to stay on beach mountain. There was plenty of room for two people. Bedroom and living area with a place to cook. Would definitely recommend and will come back
