Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Peterdom, Vatikanische Museen, Kolosseum, Campo de' Fiori, Spanische Treppe, Trevi-Brunnen, Piazza Navona usw.) sind bequem zu Fuß, mit Bus oder Metro erreichbar. In der Umgebung der Wohnung finden Sie zahlreiche Geschäfte, Bars, Supermärkte, Internetcafés, Banken mit Geldautomaten, Weingüter, Restaurants, Pizzerien, Pubs, Eisdielen und Apotheken. Bei Ihrer Ankunft begrüße ich Sie persönlich und begleite Sie gerne in der Umgebung. Ich zeige Ihnen Supermarkt, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Haltestellen des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs usw. Emidio was communicative and very helpful before and during our stay. The apartment was in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. Seemed very safe. We walked around during the evening and in the day time. Cafe, restaurants and sights very close!

In Italy the owners of the apartment cannot provide food to guests: this is prohibited by Italian law. The text of this law is clearly visible in the apartment and is translated into several languages ​​(including English). There are two supermarkets around the corner: guests can buy food there.

Wonderful holiday

This apartment was exactly what we wanted. It was in a really good location, walking distance from Vatican, good cafes and shops. It was clean, well furnished and really quaint. Would definitely recommend to our friends and we would come back on our next trip.

Very Comfortable place

The apartment is absolutely lovely. Spacious, clean and most importantly it is so close to the Vatican. The bedrooms are both large and well appointed. The living room has a large flat screen TV and comfortable couch. Emidio helped to make our stay very enjoyable and he responded promptly to all inquiries. We will certainly be back and I will recommend the apartment to friends and family who are visiting Rome. .

Large, well appointed apartment, perfectly located for the Vatican

This two bed apartment is perfectly located within easy walking distance of St Peters Basilica. It is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. The host, Emidio, is very welcoming and took the time to show us where the local supermarket, post office and restaurants were along with public transport stops. We took a day's leisurely stroll from the apartment to the Colliseum and from there through the old town taking in sights such as the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc. Stopping along the way at some lovely pavement cafes for food and beverages before returning to the apartment. The apartment is on the 5th floor but there is a lift. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Rome.

Beautiful apartment in a convenient location

We were welcomed at this apartment by Emidio how showed us around the neighbourhood and pointed out the local grocery store and some good restaurants. There are buses very close by as well as a train station and you really are directly across from the Vatican. We took several evening strolls through the Vatican because it is so peaceful once the crowds have gone. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable although the sitting area is quite small. Not a problem as the dining table is a good size and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds were large and very comfortable with more than adequate storage space. Emidio was very helpful throughout the visit, answering all our questions within minutes of sending an email. The building (very clean) is behind the busy street and it is quiet, and there is good quiet air conditioning when you need it. I would highly recommend this apartment for couples or a family. We had a wonderful vacation in Rome. Ann

Good!

Location is perfect for Vatican City! The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, with heater and spacious. Markets close by as well as bus stop, metro, bank and restaurants. The only thing was the shower, my husbands quote “Shower is not for big people honey”. However, it wasn’t a too much of a big deal, it worked for us. Emidio was great, super nice person! Very helpful. The day we got there, he walked us to the bank, markets, bus stop and showed us some restaurants. He is very responsive and quick to respond too. The only thing that made it a little more difficult for us was the fact that we booked a lot of tours whose meeting points were more city center and we had to walk farther distances to get there but we were aware this was a walking vacation so we just did it.

superb experience all round

From the moment we found the apartment on the website to our very last day the whole experience was superb. As previous reviews state, Emidio is a great guy who made the whole experience stress free. The apartment is beautiful and on arrival we met Emidio and his lovely Mum , both of who you could tell were very proud of the apartment and rightly so. It is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is amazing and you can see the dome of St Peters while making your morning coffee! Everything you could possibly need is included in the apartment. There is a little balcony off the larger bedroom which attracts the tea time sunshine. Emidio is very quick at replying to any emails you send him so do not hesitate to contact him with any queries you may have. He arranged transport to and from the airport for us and the drivers arrived on time and were very helpful with the cases etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to return one day. Thank you Emidio and Signora Minder for making our holiday even more special.

Wonderful Holiday, Wonderful Apartment

The owner Emidio is fantastic! before we had left England he had provided us with information, and recommendations for tickets to sights, and booked our transport from the airport to the apartment. Our Arrival in Rome was wonderfully received by Emidio at the apartment, followed by a walk around the neighbourhood to find the best places to buy groceries, ATM, Letter Boxes, Tabac - for purchasing bus tickets, and the railway station. We also had the opportunity to ask Emidio about getting to the waterpark by Bus - Hydro Mania - worth a visit! I would recommend trying every flavour of ice cream at Captin Cone, we tried to have at least two a day. Check when you travel but on certain days entrance to the Colosseum and the Vatican museums are free! Usually either the first or last sunday of the month. If travelling with a small child in a pushchair then go directly to the front of a queue as they 'usually' will let you straight in so that you don't queue in the sun. I would recommend eating at the restaurant 'Papa Rex' which is nearby. The apartment was beautifully clean and supplied with cleaning equipment for during your stay. It was located in a really great place, walking distance to the Vatican and on a really good bus route to get everywhere else really quickly. Best location!

We visited Italy for two weeks and stayed in Venice, Florence and the last week in Rome. Emidio was so nice and he did more than the other people from the other apartments did. After he explained everything in the apartment he gave us a tour of where everything was around the apartment. We were very thankful that he did. This place is in a safe neighbourhood few minutes from the Vatican. There is a police station at the corner of the street. You can walk safely home at night. We liked the fact that we can see the Basilica from our windows. We stayed on the 5th floor. There is a washing machine, in the apartment, which we appreciated a lot. Within few minutes walk you will find a grocery, lot's of restaurants, banks, postal office, coffee place, a gelato place and more. We took the bus at the corner of the street to visit Borghese Museum and the Colosseum. If you wish he can arrange transportation for you to the airport, which I recommend. You do not want to bring suitcases in the bus or subway in Rome. It's about a 35 minutes ride to the airport and around 45 euros. We met his mom and she is so nice. The apartment was very clean, much better than some high end hotels I stayed before. Our favorite restaurant was Osteria dei Pontefici, which is few steps away from the apartment. The food was so good and we ate at this place couple times during our stay. Also we had questions during our stay and Emidio replied quickly. I recommend this place and would stay there again.

Very Nice Apartment & Helpful Host

A very nice cosy apartment, right next to the Vatican. Everything was as pictured and actually nicer in person. Exceptionally clean! My only warning is, be very careful in the bathroom, the shower and floor become extremely slippery when wet...in fact my friend actually slipped while getting out of the shower, fell, and ended up with a nasty bloody gash on the side of her head! The area seemed very safe, in fact there is a police station just at the end of the ally to the left, and there are bus stops along the main street, steps from the apartment. The best & cheapest way to get around Rome to see the sights is by bus (lines 916, 87, 64). Looking at a map of the city, you would think everything is so spread out, but actually everything is closer then you might think. Just be prepared to walk, A LOT during your stay!!! The metro is also another cheap way to get around, however, the closest metro station is Ottaviano and is a long distance to walk from the apartment, but it's easy to find and quite do able, if you would rather travel by metro instead of by bus. Once inside St. Peter's Square, you have to cut directly across to get to the street the metro is on and just keep walking straight til you get to the station, it will be on your right hand side. The BEST restaurant closest to the apartment (just across the main street to the left) was Papa Rex. I wish we had found this restaurant our first night and not the last, cause this would have been the ONLY restaurant I would have eaten at the whole trip (yes, it was that good!!!) It received a TripAdvisor award 2017. Changing currency: I recommend getting just enough money changed to euros at the airport to get to the apartment, and then changing the rest of your money at the bank next to the apartment. Commission to change money is a killer!!! Finally, the host, Emidio was very helpful. He and his mother were at the apartment when we arrived and they gave us a tour of the neighborhood. There is a bank, a little health supply store (laundry soap, sanitary napkins, hair color, etc.), market, post office. Emidio was kind enough to arrange our airport transfers for us and communication was always very good. I must have sent him 20 messages with questions about how to get around and what he recommends, while we were there, all of which he answered. Such a nice patient man!!! I would definitely stay here again, the next time I visit Rome, and would recommend it to everyone!!!

Wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung direkt am Vatikan

Die Wohnung ist so, wie beschrieben und wie die Bilder sie zeigen. Schön: Blick vom Schlafzimmer auf die Kuppel des Petersdoms, wenn auch etwas durch ein Haus verdeckt. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, nur eine klassische deutsche Kaffeemaschine fehlt. War uns aber egal, wir habe uns in eins der netten Cafes gesetzt zum Frühstück. In der Wohnung es gibt drei italienische Kaffeemaschinen. Mit den italienischen Kaffeemaschinen wird der beste Kaffee der Welt hergestellt. Warum haben Sie sie zu Ihnen nicht gebraucht?

Rom intensiv erleben!

Die sehr nett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, die wir mit zwei Paaren genutzt haben, war in jeder Hinsicht super! Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen - im März haben wir uns vor allem über die gut funktionierende Zentralheizung gefreut.Die Lage in der Nähe des Vatikans erwies sich als hervorragend geeignet, um von dort die ganze Stadt zu erkunden: Mit der Bus-Linie 64 kommt man an alle wichtigen Orte. Gleichzeitig konnten wir das echte, nicht touristische Rom in unserer unmittelbaren Umgebung erleben, indem wir z. B. den Pizza-Bäcker und das Ristorante "im Kiez" besuchten. Alle wichtigen Informationen erhielten wir bei unserer Ankunft von unserem sehr freundlichen Vermieter, Herrn Emidio Minder, bei dem wir uns herzlich bedanken. Er hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass unser Kurz-Trip nach Rom eine runde Sache geworden ist, ohne Flopps und Pannen! Dieses Ferien-Domizil ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Im Schatten des Petersdoms

Unsere Rom-Reise war toll, nicht zuletzt weil wir diese schöne Wohnung hatten, in der wir uns superwohl gefühlt haben. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und einfach schön. Auch einen Parkplatz haben wir sofort gefunden. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Die Nähe zum Petersdom ist ein Vorteil und des Weiteren befindet sich ein Supermarkt in der Nähe, so dass man auch schnell mal etwas einkaufen kann. Emidio und seine Familie haben uns herzlich Willkommen geheißen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Einfach Super !

Die Bilder entsprechen absolut der Wohnung. Sehr sauber, geräumig und mit allem Notwendigem ausgestattet. Sehr nach vom Vatikan entfernt. Der Vermieter ist bei allen aufkommenden Fragen sehr hilfsbereit und organisiert, wenn notwendig, sogar eine Transportmöglichkeit. Nochmal vielen Dank für die nette und persönliche Betreuung. Diese Wohnung kann man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und seine Lage ist perfekt, da der Petersdom, die Bushaltestellen, die Untergrundbahn, die Supermärkte, Lokale wirklich um die Ecke sind. Es ist sehr sauber, still und geschmackvoll eingerichtete. Die Schlafzimmer sind groß und hell. Die Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann die Wohnung von tiefstem Herzen nur empfehlen.

Wunderbare Wohnung in Rom

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, still und gemütlich. Es liegt sehr zentral (der Petersdom wirklich um die Ecke ist) und bietet einen tollen Blick auf die Peterskuppel. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig (alles ist fußläufig erreichbar). Es gibt viele Buslinien und Untergrundbahn in unmittelbarer Nähe, obendrein Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie diverse Restaurants und Bars. Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in Rom gehabt und sehr viel verdanken wir Emidio. Wir werden absolut weiterempfehlen.

Lovely place. Very close to the Vatican. They don't have a coffee machine, but there's an excellent coffee shop very close by. Walking distance to many good restaurants. Will highly recommend!

You stayed only one night and I'm sure that you didn't see it, because there are 2 cofffe machines in kitchen: open the kitchen pantry door and find it. You could have contacted me and I would have told you I know where 2 coffee machines are located.

Beau séjour à Rome

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'appartement. Le descriptif de l'annonce est bien conforme. Nous avons eu un peu de bruit mais il y avait des travaux dans la rue. L'immeuble est très calme. D'ailleurs, le voisin veille à sa tranquillité. (il tape contre le mur si nous parlions trop fort...)Sinon, il se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de la cité du Vatican et à proximité du terminus de la ligne 64 qui mène au centre historique de Rome. C'est très pratique !

Clean, well equiped, excellent location and to top it off an excellent host.

We highly recommended this location. Emidio was an excellent host he made us fill at home. He took his time and explained everything about the apartment, Emidio took the time to show us the surrounding neighbourhood and where the grocery store, bakery and where to get the best pizza, he even showed us where to purchase our bus tickets and where to catch the bus for our day trips to centre of Rome. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean it was one of our favorite location that we stayed in for our whole trip in Italy. Emidio also made arrangements for us to go to the Airport for our departure a few days later. We highly recommend this location. Thank you Emidio and his mother for the excellent stay. Good value for our family of 5

The apartment was perfect for me, my husband and 3 kids. It was excellent value for money considering the location. I appreciated how clean the apartment was: everything was spotless. We slept very comfortably. The location is within walking distance of everything. The neighborhood is safe and surrounded by stores and restaurants choices. Emidio met us the first day and showed us around the place and gave us a few ideas where to eat etc. It was lovely to have someone there to meet us when we arrived. Emidio was very responsive and attendant host.

Amazing Location

Was met at the property by Emidio who showed us around the immediate area so we would know where the shops/restaurants are. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from St Peters Square. Bus stop nearby but we walked nearly everywhere. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. We felt very safe. Good Wi-fi. We stayed here upon a recommendation of a friend and would certainly recommend to others. Had a fantastic time. Thank you. !
