Zahlreiche lokale Wanderwege machen es zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt, um alle Attraktionen des Peak District zu besuchen, darunter Chatsworth House, Alton Towers (nur 10 Minuten entfernt). Had a lovely week at The Old Byre. The location, high in the Peak District offers wonderful views. We had snow whilst there which only enhanced the spectacular scenery. The wood burner made our evenings in nice and cosy. Helen and Kev were welcoming hosts with Kev coming to remove snow to give us an easier exit from the driveway. Would definitely return the this cottage.

This cottage is fine if the weather is fine. Unfortunately the weather was awful raining almost very day, with cool temperatures. Nothing the owners could do about that but it meant the magnificent view from the cottage was obscured more often than not by low cloud.
