Everything we needed for a short break in the Peak District. Beautiful property, with stunning views and everything that we needed for our family break. Well equipped kitchen, good shower, nice and cosy lounge with wood burner, very friendly hosts. Great location for walking and climbing.

It's location is stunning, and access to walking trails and interesting places to visit close by. The owners are delightful and helpful, very unobtrusive but available should one need anything. We fount the cottage to be well equipped and spotlessly clean which was a welcome touch in these pandemic times. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the start. This cottage is fine if the weather is fine. Unfortunately the weather was awful raining almost very day, with cool temperatures. Nothing the owners could do about that but it meant the magnificent view from the cottage was obscured more often than not by low cloud.

Cosy and convenient

We stayed here for a week during May. 2 adults and 2 children with a dog. The cottage was clean and welcoming on our arrival, complete with a plate of shortbread! Just the right size for us and convenient for all the sights of the Peak District. Everything we needed was available and our hosts were lovely. Thank you!
