Ive always loved interiors- creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming and full of personality. There's something special about taking a room and adding those touches that make people instantly relax and feel at home. I'm drawn to cosy textures, earthy colours and little details that tell a story, and I love seeing how a space can completely change how someone feels.
Hosting Railway cottage has been a natural extension of that. For me, it's not just about providing a place to stay - it's about creating an experience. I genuinely enjoy thinking about what guest might need.
I love knowing that people can arrive, switch off , and enjoy the cottage, whether that's after a long walk along the canal or a day exploring the local area. Being a host allows me to combine my passion for interiors with my love of making people feel welcome. - and has what enjoy doing most.

Set in Congleton, Railway Cottage is tucked away in its own little pocket of calm, surrounded by a small wooded area that makes it feel peaceful and private. Despite being just moments from the train station , it feels surprisingly hidden. One of the things I love the most is how much there is to do right on the doorstep. The nearby canal is perfect for slow, scenic walks, with that lovely mix of water, wildlife, and open skies. There are plenty walking routes to explore , whether you want something gentle or a bit more adventurous.

There are local pubs serving great food. Local Chinese, chip shop, bakery, convenience store, hairdressers, 5 mins drive to Congleton town centre and a 20 Minute walk .

Great train link to Manchester and Stoke.

The property is a short drive from many tourists attractions such as Alton towers, Lapland Uk, Emma Bridgwater, Chatsworth house, the Potteries, Tatton park. A near many wedding venues such as Sandhole farm, the Plough, and the Lion and swan and the Swettenham arms.

The feeling you get when you enter the property makes it stand out, it's been thoughtfully designed to feel cosy, calm and full of character. The original features, like the exposed beams, give the cottage a real sense of charm and authenticity, while the decor adds a warm nature inspired feel. Every details has been considered. At the heart of it, is a log burner which makes the cottage especially inviting, perfect for unwinding in colder nights, and a lovely private paved area for the warmer months.
